[Archived] Podcasts - Podcast #11 & 2nd Pune Special both now available

As the podcasts are now a regular thing, I think it makes sense to have a single podcast thread that we can update the title of when a new one is released rather than a new one each week.

Anyway, I'm pleased to announce that today e have TWO podcasts released. A shorter than normal standard edition ( #11) and a special interview/grilling by PhilipL and Wen of Only2Garners about the Fans Forum's trip to Pune. You can grab them from the front page of the website (or iTunes if you force it to refresh).

The Ancelotti rumour is interesting and it would be one hell of a statement of intent if it happened but I can't see this happening in a million years.

If they were looking for an Ancelotti or Benitez type appointment I think they would have done it by now.

iTunes takes a while to update, but somewhere there is an option to force a refresh I believe

Good work guys, Philip agree or disagree with his views always puts accross his views very eloquently and John did a fantastic job of representing the FF, much rather him than myself as I tend to mumble and indeed ramble.

Listen to both podcast. Really enjoyed listen to them. thought PhillipL did a great job standing in for Kamy. Also thought Only2Garners did very well in answering all of PhillipL and Wen Y Hu questions and was very honest and Open. Thought both PhillipL and Wen Y Hu questions were very good also!!!

excellent podcasts as always I thought John 02G came across very well and cleared up a lot of worries the fans have. Wen & Glen as always came across well & Glenns production of the podcasts sound quality was brilliant. The only annonying thing was when the phone rang a lot might I suggest when doing these podcasts all phone lines be pulled out apart from that it was excellent. The name Ancelloti is interesting I hope it's true would certainly do better than coco and would also realise the owners ambition when trying to attract big name stars I only hope the conspiracy theories are true because I can confirm he was head coach at Chelsea when Ancelloti was there as the picture in the sun shows him & Ancelloti in the dug out.

Normally when stuff like that happens we stop, rewind and start again, but we were so short of time that we had to get it all down in one take, interruptions and all. It's also why I didn't have time to do my normal editing magic of removing lots of the pauses (both pauses to think and the ones skype can cause) and errrrrrm's.

Do Open with iTunes

It starts to play but will also be in your iTunes music library

Don't forget to add it to the sync list

I listened to the Pune special part 2 last night. I congratulate Philip and John for their approach to this podcast; Philip for his questioning and John for providing the real answers to put some meat on the bones of the FF statement.

Elsewhere I posted my concerns the depth of detail available to the majority of the support was insufficient. This was because I had been fortunate enough to talk to one of the Pune 9 prior to this podcast. I very much felt the detail I had would help fans understand the need for this meeting and the need to travel to Pune. Equally I did not want to post what was a private conversation between friends.

I'm delighted the FF, via John's excellent interview, have been able to get such detail into the public domain. It's to be hoped the club will see the need to do likewise, though I have my doubts about that.

I would have liked to hear whether anyone from the P9 asked the rationale behind SK's appointment and what the Venky's response was.

He produces professionally and this will also take some of the burden off Glenn, so a big welcome to the team to him from us all.
