rebelmswar Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Title is misleading, I wasn't even in country at the time. He was indeed captured alive however, leaders in his vein can not be allowed to live if you want the turmoil to be over. Ms. H said a few days before that she wanted him dead... Make of that what you will, but no dictator who has had years to build up generations of loyal servants can never be tried in court. Its a sad thing but a lesson learned in a little German town during World War 2.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Another obstacle out of the way in the West's relentless fight for control of the worlds oil.
rebelmswar Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Another obstacle out of the way in the West's relentless fight for control of the worlds oil. Just the middle easts oil. The US has an inability to get their own citizens to agree to drill their own. Its like refusing to eat food you have in your cupboard but will go kill your neighbors to eat theirs and paying massive amounts of money to their surviving kin for each mouthful, or just ordering hideously expensive takeout from a local resteraunt you haven't yet put to the sword. Either that or it had bugger all to with it and he was just a murderous illegitimate whose own people wanted dead. Locherbie Butter still on the market?
adopted scouser Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 A really evil look about him. Good he's dead for Lockerbie, Yvonne Fletcher and Semtex. So glad I'm British watching the Libyans though, screaming, chanting, burning stuff, firing guns, good grief. So uncivilised
Aberdeen Blue Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 Good he's dead for Lockerbie.... Interesting to hear Dr.Jim Swire on the radio last night who's daughter was killed in the Lockerbie atrocity and is a leading campaigner for the truth of the matter. He is adamant that Libya had nothing to do with it and that it was in fact an Iranian attack as a matter of revenge for the US shooting down a Iranian civilian airliner months earlier. Interesting website: http://lockerbietruth.com/ Another obstacle out of the way in the West's relentless fight for control of the worlds oil. Yeah, now where did we leave those rigs?
