bigbrandjohn Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Can we have a separate thread for those on suicide watch who want to blame everything on the manager. Let's keep this thread to praise the team on some outstanding performances and to curse our rotten luck. I am proud of the team away from home .Classy football and an enthralling game in the words of the commentators.

benhben Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 This is the sort of result that gets teams relegated. Cant afford to throw away two goal leads and expect to stay up. I have pretty much lost all hope of us playing in the premier league next season. January could be a bad time, any sort of bid for Samba, Hoilett, Givet or Olsson, theyll be off quicker than they can say goodbye.
Plastic Head Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 All very well but we have a manager who doesn't know how to win. Just watch what happens... And I think what just happened sums up the above comment perfectly. The idiot will get exactly what he deserves on Saturday now...dogs abuse. GET OF BLACKBURN KEAN AND TAKE THE INDIAN MONGS WITH YOU

Hughesy Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 WHY the hell did he take Junior off?? Takes him off on 81, we concede on 82 and then again on 93. Why cant we see a game out?? GUTTED - regardless of whether it was a penalty or not!
Bluefudge Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 We went game after game not changing shape or subs..... Now we have tO tinker every bloody game.... You can't learn how to be a manager in the PL, unlucky today, but at this level you make your own luck.
DP Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Terrible substitutions. Looks like the coaching change did us good, but we still have a doughnut in charge. 1 win in 10 games. Has to go.
moerpho Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Best performance of the game came from the commentators (had english comm. on my stream from LEGAL norwegian TV2 Sumo) who said it straight out at the end: This was down to the managers changes. This would NEVER have happened under Hughes, Fat Sam or Souness. For the first time in what feels like ages I got a pulse watching Rovers but those final 15 mins is proof that under The Evil Baldy we will not get to 30 points and will be rock bottom of the league in may 2012. Next up is a wounded Chelsea. I expect a brave performance again, probably score a goal or two, but will concede more and come out of it with no points. If The Evil Baldy is given an contract-extension this week I'm giving up on football. I thought I was at an ultimate low after the Spurs-game but this actually felt worse. Kean needs to be sacked and quick! And we need a manager wiht some defensive qualities as well as a good fitness trainer. Gutted!
pick32 Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 I dont know what to feel. I cant really blame Kean for being 3-1 up then losing a goal to a deflection and another to an incorrect refereeing decision. People saying that it was wrong to take off Hoilett/Rochina for Dunn/Petrovic but it made sense at the time to tighten up. The fact that we still conceded suggests that we'd have struggled even more if Hoilett/Rochina had stayed on. Please tell me you are joking someone should tell Kean that attack is the best form of defence instead of letting the other team throw the kitchen sink at us. In a fast flowing game you put a crock on who has been injured for 2months and the slowest player in the squad whilst taking of Rochina who ball retention was world class today.
chocky Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Kean is a retard, making the same stpid decisions when we are dominating. Get out of our club F.F.S. We will go down if he stays and any fan that cannot see this now is deluded. I backed him at first but he has proven he is the worst manager since Ince and may even surpass his incompetence...
Darwen Rover Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Should never have lost that game... I'v been massively against kean but I must admit the last three games theres been a marked improvement
yellowsubmarine Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Was gonna cut Kean some slack today if we had won 3-1 or even 3-2. But he never fails to amaze us with his rookie tactical nonsense. Why would any manager take out Yakubu (who just scored a goal) and Rochina (who was one of the better Rovers players today) and replace them with Dunn (who hasnt played since 1956) and Goodwillie (who's not good at even holding up the ball as a lone striker)??? Frustrated with Kean again! The substitutions were plain awful!
EWOODACE1 Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 he has to be sacked though even after the subs we dominated. massive deflection for the 2nd and a pen that should never have been for the 3rd. that isnt his fault. what is his fault is the position we are in. 6 wins in 31 games is pathetic. what will happen is kean will get sacked in another 4 games or so and we will be relieved only to see that some other nobody is brought in and that will be the end. i have no faith in anything that happens at venkys club any more ( cant call it our club at the min ) i also find it hard to get mad at kean. i dont blame him half as much as i blame our owners who do not give a crap about brfc. they hardly ever come and they show no action in our dealings that need to be done
Derbyshire Blue Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 How bloody cruel, best away performance I've seen from us in a long time, There first goal came when the setting sun couldn't have been worse for Robbo, wickedest defection for there 2nd, and how the hell he could call that a penalty no one knows, Stay with Us... as the commentator said on the live footage I watched.... "This Doe's Not Look Like A Team At The Foot Of The Table"
OsloRover Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Robbed by a ridicolous penalty. again. Feel really sorry for N'zonzi who in the last 15 minutes ran an absolute masterclass in midfield.
Blue n White Rover Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 WHY the hell did he take Junior off?? Takes him off on 81, we concede on 82 and then again on 93. Why cant we see a game out?? GUTTED - regardless of whether it was a penalty or not! Junior was taken off during the Newcastle game because of a tight hamstring. Today he was taken off as he was struggling with cramp, probably because he didn't train much after the Toon game. Very harsh penalty decision. Nothing seems to be going for us right now. Chelsea next. Great.
Rovermatt Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Two goals up yet three points ###### away. Really, really slack stuff.

martmitch Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Over a quarter of the season gone now and 6 points, even if the season was 40 games in this form we would finish with 24 points total Stop messing around venkys - get rid of our David Brent!
Stuart Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Can we have a separate thread for those on suicide watch who want to blame everything on the manager. Let's keep this thread to praise the team on some outstanding performances and to curse our rotten luck. I am proud of the team away from home .Classy football and an enthralling game in the words of the commentators. So you don't think Kean's substitutions caused the problem? And I expect it wasn't Kean's fault on Wednesday night following similar substitutions? The buck stops with the manager - unfortunately we don't have one. It's like history repeating itself, Kidd all over again. At least Kidd was a likeable guy. The current incumbent doesn't even have the self-respect to admit he's not up to it. We will end up doing a Brum or a Boro. Get to a cup final and get relegated. Kean will see that as a positive. Progress even. Then we'll move forward and target the points required for the play-offs. So so angry.
John Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Potential for a little gap appearing now between bottom clubs and the rest, not looking great - Chelsea next too makes it even worse as need 3 points ASAP otherwise playing catch up.
Mattie456 Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 WHY the hell did he take Junior off?? Takes him off on 81, we concede on 82 and then again on 93. Why cant we see a game out?? GUTTED - regardless of whether it was a penalty or not! Injured - Hamstring it said
Lathund Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 WHY the hell did he take Junior off?? Takes him off on 81, we concede on 82 and then again on 93. Why cant we see a game out?? GUTTED - regardless of whether it was a penalty or not! Hoilett was cramping. I'm no fan of Steve Kean, but it wasn't the subs that undid us. We actually played well at 3-2 and deserved to keep that lead. A dive gave a free kick that resulted in a harsh penalty.
Damien Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Hoilett was clutching his hamstring according to the commentator! But still I thought it was foolish of Kean subbing yak and Rochina! All in all regardless of those subs we were robbed today!
