Steve Kean comment: "So we are disappointed that we couldn't score more. But we'll take the positives from that and keep going.

What the feck?? scored 3 goals away from home. That should be enough for a win you douche. you should be disappointed that you cant defend for ######. And it seems that he can find positives in every loss we get. Get out of my club

er, we didn't lose

but it sure feels like it

the gap that is now opening up may mean the end for cocco, but with the chicken slayers in charge who knows!

TV lost picture at 91 mins! but just seen it. Very harsh penalty call.

Subs theory:

(1) Rochina went missing in the 2nd half after a very good first and Hoilett pulled up chasing a through ball just befores being subbed. Goodwille is crap and not as good as Yakubu which says it all really.

(3) Kean is a cretin and thinks that its compulsory to use all available subs.

We played well but apart from the goal Yak did SFA but we seem to have developed a flaw in our players not defending as a team and on occasions we were light in defensive when Norwich broke. Do Yakubu, Rochina, Formica & Hoilett ever get back properly.

I thought Givet was outstanding and MGP had a good game apart from a couple of lapses only he can do. Dunn looked like he'd put weight back on.

Over 25% of the Season has now gone and we have 6 points........

Thankfully both Wigan and Bolton lost so cosmetically our perilous situation improved and that's how it will be sold to the Raos.

Not developed, this was evident in pre season at Kilmarnock, our midfield doesnt give enough protection for our defence, My posts from the first game have said the same, why is Kean not addressing the fact, its not rocket science!!

Played well, but didn't win. Fed up with saying that to be quite honest.

Kean subsitutiions invited pressure but credit Norwich for taking full advantage.

This reminds me of the previous relegation season when Kidd was in charge.

3-1 up at The Dell and drew 3-3. Different stage in the season but the end result ultimately the same...relegation.

To whoever is defending that performance maybe they will look back on it in 12 months when we are playing doncaster in the championship and think that was an acceptable draw?. As history has always told if you can't hold onto a 2 goal lead and only draw the game you eventually get relegated. Also taking off players playing well is asking for trouble I can understand Hoilett coming off due to injury but taking off Rochina for Dunn was ludicrous & taking of the yak for goodie who is awful at holding up the ball was just plain suicide & inviting of pressure. Also one thing totally baffling to me we were winning if you bring on subs esp. if you are winning you leave it as late as possible, 92-93mins. I understand Junior had to come off due to injury also if he can't see if you are winning & subs need to done late on then it really shows his ineptitude and surely he must go & still believe he needs to go now just hope Mrs D & her bros have the balls to do it soon but thus far I think they might stick with coco.

What a terrific performance from Rovers. I have never seen us pass that well TBH.

Absolutly gutted about the farcical late goals. NEVER a pen. Second time this year we have had shocking last second calls on us. Luck goes both ways but you cant come back after these decisions.

I thought the starting 11 were fabulous today and everyone is contributing, I though Formica had a good game and had a nice assist for the Yak goal. N'Zonzi was MOM for me. MGP also played well with him.Petrovic had his best short showing yet and should have scored at the end.

We look like a good side for 70mins then we tend to sit back which we are awful at.

I do feel sorry for Kean, however its a results league and every Manager in the world should be accountable for results. Time to go. Get a new guy in here now, so he has time to evaluate the squad before the January transfer window, maybe someone of the ilk of Jermaine Jones will come to our rescue again.

Martin O'Neil please.

BTW Chelsea looked anything but good today, wouldn't be surprised if we beat them 5-4 next week and Kean keeps the job.

Any news on Hoilett ?

The lad does seem to have repetitive trouble with that hamstring which aint great at his age.

If he's out for any length of time, will be a huge miss and will only quicken our sink into the abyss.

When you put the result in perspective it is terrible, but realistically we played very well, should have taken the 3 points and were very unlucky to blow the lead. A flukey deflection and a harsh penalty are the sorts of things that happen when you're down the bottom and struggling. Really this is the worst-case scenario for the Kean-Out movement as we didn't pick up a crucial 3 points, but he'll be able to point to a good performance and bad luck.

The table looked quite decent in the 82nd minute, now it looks a bit better than this morning, but we are deep in trouble. A real shame as we deserved the win and there were plenty of positives to take from the performance, one of the more enjoyable Rovers performances that I have seen in a long time and a couple of very good goals (including the first from Norwich which was a great volley).

Can I also add that we didn't concede because of his substitutions or because our players weren't getting back enough. All three of the goals were simply the result of a bit of bad luck or a bit of quality from Norwich. It could be argued that someone should have been sitting on the edge of the box to prevent the first, but the second was simply an unlucky deflection and the third was one of the harshest penalty decisions that will be seen all year.

Feel sorry for Kean? In the same way I feel sorry for a squashed cockroach.

Well in won't be 1-0 will it?

If this had been a one off game, in the same mould as the spurs game, I could accept today's result. But today we desperately needed to win. Playing well and losing isn't a good combination. Regardless of Kean's tactics or subs, we were unlucky today, but at the same time we shouldnt have given bad luck a chance to come into the equation.

Said before Eddie, a manager needs to be good or lucky. Kean is neither. We CANNOT defend as a team, we sit back and invite pressure. We take off players with pace so the opposition don't have to play as deep.

Why make the changes (Hoilett injury aside)? we were doing well.

It's not the first time either, he did the same on Wednesday. They were quality goals against but it all stems from handing the onus to the opposition.

TBH I'm getting past caring whether he stays, goes, or opens a kebab shop. We are going down. Thank you Venkys.

Going forward we need some solidity in centre midfield - Lowe and N'Zonzi has to be the first choice, I'd even put Dann at right back just to free up Lowe. Pedersen has done OK there but he should never be first choice and Lowe is already a better player.

Think it's immaterial though to be honest - I've already mentally prepared myself for Championship football next season. Venky's won't sack Kean, and Kean is taking us down. It's that simple.

Just read Kean not unexpectedly bemoaning bad luck, tiredness and a bad penalty call and the saying that overall '' we'll take the positives from that and keep going''.

It occured to me that he should also start looking at the negatives and try to cure/change them. Surely that's his job. Things like:

* why don't we defend as a unit?

* why do we conceed so quickly after making subs and why did I make them?

* why didn't I but a Striker who can head the ball

* etc

Cure the negatives and keep the positives and Rovers could be a good team.

Listening to fans coming back from the game on 606. Seems the official line from Jason Roberts is that if you're not behind Kean you're not a true fan.

Roberts can kiss my a s s

Yes indeed - I should have said that under Kean ''we seem to have developed a flaw in our players not defending as a team''.

Proud. Entertained. Devestated. Angry. Mad. Heartbroken. Tore my shirt up superman style when the penalty went in. Feel sorry for the lads, all fans, management and Steve Kean. Feels like every ref wants us down,

This!! Ref let the game down. Still drowning my sorrows, good atmosphere at half time when getting the beers in! Ha ha. Shame as we need to beat times like this as the end of the season we will all be together.

Nearly got it right with my forecast yesterday (3-2 to Norwich if Kean mismanages substitutions). He's just got to go I'm afraid. he does not know how to win a match. At 3-1 up you don't invite pressure by removing players who can hold the ball up with others who can't control the ball quickly enough (Dunn,Petrovic, Goodwillie) to relieve pressure. Refs are always prone to a boo-boo-we got lucky with one on Wednesday-not today. This manager makes managerial errors every single match but no reporter asks him why he weakens his team with his substitutions. He is trying to be clever but is failing miserably and its costing us! Its a shame really because he has brought on the youngsters and bought promising talent but they need managing effectively. Also his summmer experienced signings are average at best. There is nothing for us next week and then two more away games. Looking grim.

I've said for some time that we have too many bricklayers and not enough hod carriers. Apart from the back 4 we went away from home with only 1 midfield player who has a tackle in him! Lunacy! Soccer suicide! We are way too lightweight and we would laugh at any other club who did the same with such a tactically naive and inept a manager. Worst thing is it was obvious for all to see the difference that either Jones playing alongside N'Zoni made last Spring.

One thing I am noticing is the apparent improvement in spirit and effort since Jensen was booted out and Clement came in. Not sure which is responsible for the change but our deep malaise coincided with Jensens appointment last January. Still no worries... at least Anderson will have had his cut wont he? :angry2:

BUT

Ominously the rest are now stretching away from the bottom 4. Life without Allardyce isn't quite the roaring success the less knowledgeable amongst the supporters thought is it? btw WHU had another good win today and the likliehood of them replacing us is becoming greater every passing week. Sam will be just bursting to give two finger salute and a wide grin to our owners, management and Jerome Anderson as he passes us wont he?

Incidentally just as a postscript my spy network informed me me that Keane was seen dining out in a local restaurant with Anderson recently. Apparently Keane was swilling red wine like a gud un and when he went to the lavvy Anderson was overheard saying to the waiter that the Blackburn fans were all wrong and shouldn't demonstrate against Kean cos he really is a top quality manager. Surely a case of if you say something often enough you end up believing it.
