Perhaps that was why the sleeping partner was at Ewood on Saturday to arrange the new contract for his client/ employee/ consortium member / business partner (delete as appropriate), If true he is obviously being rewarded for his contribution towards the bigger "plan" which will be rewarded again upon completion of successful exit strategy .

No they haven't, Kamy's just been on twitter saying they've probably picked up on todays rumours.

I;m not going to be able to sleep tonight, i'm so angry with everything. That buzz we all get walking into Ewood has now gone and i feel so helpless. If he gets a new contract that could tip me over the edge.

I believe earlier in this thread Kamy posted something about a source and a new contract for Kean... could be wrong, but I guarantee the hacks at the Mail and other newspapers have been following this thread today.

Tensions could really boil over if Venkys are stupid enough to improve or extend his contract.

Despite everything they've done wrong so far I refuse to believe it, until there's a statement from the club. To date they can get explain away their errors as naivety or learning curve.

This would be willful damage aimed solely at the club's supporters.

It would also be a slap in the face for the Pune9.

Tell me about it, it would be a tipping point for me for sure.

If (and I hope to God it's wrong), the Mail has actually got something right, then the ante has been raised by the owners. They have stated that they are aware of the fans protests, and yet, as if to provoke those fans, reward the one person, who, if replaced would appease the vast majority. Why??? Surely you would just voice your support to the man, or continue to release statements about the importance of sticking together. Who could this possibly satisfy other than Kean? Surely an extended contract will cost even more to compensate if he is sacked in the future! It has to be paper talk, it wouldn't make any sense if it were true!

It's been a long, long day with a wide range of speculation.

Just less than 24 hours ago, I thought he would have been gone by 6.00 today.

Clearly, lots of sh1te being propelled about.

What I've heard tonight is that there is no new contract on the table, Mrs D was rattled by today's events and wants to 'sleep on things'. Fact, fiction or speculation ? Based on the link, I'd put in the 80 to 90% range as fact.

I have to join the growing number who would regard a new enhanced contract for Kean as a tippimg point. After 63 years as a supporter I could no longer stomach a vote of confidence for the smug, arrogant, weasel.

lets all hold on a minute here. lets say he has been offered a new contract, but the fact remains that none of us actually know the terms of the contract...it might be a new contract offering him a new role elsewhere....until we know for sure, lets just hope

A new contract may improve his terms, but also include elements which reduce the financial impact of sacking him.

If that's the case, then it's still a problem, because the disease that he is part of as moved elsewhere in Venky promotions Ltd (UK Branch) and still can spread it's bile and infections, and if this is the case it makes it obviously clear that Venky's fear what he knows
