BuckyRover Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 I can actually see a situation where he will end up getting lynched.

LeChuck Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 They'll be issuing a statement to say that Kean has been offered a new contract for 2 more years. Dark dark days ahead sorry. Sorry minused that by mistake. Would they really issue a statement just for a contract offer?
Lurid Coat Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Sorry minused that by mistake. Would they really issue a statement just for a contract offer? Venky's probably would, just to show the fans that they are in charge and that they won't give in to pressure from the fans.
yoda Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Sorry minused that by mistake. Would they really issue a statement just for a contract offer? Thats not the point of the exercise, they are going exert their authority, so you and I and all the supporters will have to like it or lump it. Indian business culture, they are in charge, you toe the line
Biddy Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Indian business culture, they are in charge, you tow the line and if they do carry on that route they will have no business to dictate as no one will bother to watch any more. They need to realise that they may own the club but it is a partnership with the fans. No fans, no business, simple as that.
Guest Rovers4Good Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 For sure or just speculation? Nothings 100% so it's just speculation until they actually come out and say it.
cmb211087 Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 IF it does happen, I will lump it. Season ticket would be sent straight back. Id rather work on a weekend than see that muppet laughing in the face of every rovers supporter. Going to games just doesnt excite me anymore, especially with the people who sit around me kicking off every damn match because of Kean.
Emge Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 They'll be issuing a statement to say that Kean has been offered a new contract for 2 more years. Dark dark days ahead sorry. OMG! I cant believe it Hope its not true! (The minus was for disliking the news, or is that not the right way to go about the plusses and the minuses? )
AllRoverAsia Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Thats not the point of the exercise, they are going exert their authority, so you and I and all the supporters will have to like it or lump it. Indian business culture, they are in charge, you toe the line Spot on - fans are mere minions there to be subservient to our Rao masters.
davulsukur Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 I don't know about us (as in rovers) but on a personal note, they have improved me as a person. Now i have seen how the other side live, i'll think twice about mocking other football clubs (Burnley aside) when they become a total laughing stock.
Backroom DE. Posted October 25, 2011 Backroom Posted October 25, 2011 Indian business culture, they are in charge, you toe the line What they need to get through their thick skulls is that they've purchased a club in an English town, that plays in the English Premier League and has a predominantly English fanbase. They need to change the way they do things, not the other way round. Do they really think just because it works in India it'll work over here? If that truly is the case then they're not just naive, they are actually stupid and that would be deeply concerning.
vintageadidas Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 I understand the Indian culture but we are not employees; we are the heart of the football club! If the heart stops working then the club dies!! Sad times but on the plus side he has plenty of "winnable" games coming up! (a plus for BRFC)
Kelbo Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Tell you what, if Keans contract was extended as manager of Rovers, the clowns from India had better not visit Ewood on match days or they will have an atmosphere hotter than the mother of all curries!!

m1st Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Although Eriksson dragged Leicester clear of the relegation zone and secured a 10th-placed finish last term, he was under no illusions that promotion was the minimum requirement this season. Apichet Raksriaksorn, the son of the Leicester owner and chairman, Vichai Raksriaksorn, reinforced that message last month. "I expect us to challenge for the Championship title and be in the Premier League next season," said the Thai businessman. "For me it will be very disappointing if it doesn't happen this season." That's an extract from the report in today's "Guardian" of Eriksson's [and Faz's] sacking. What a contrast between their owners' attitude to a lack of success and our owners' toleration of failure, eh?

Indian business culture, they are in charge, you toe the line I have a better business culture, I wont give any money to people who dont deserve it regardless of how much I want it. I may not be a millionaire but I can play at being a stubborn SOB too.

(a plus for BRFC) No, you don't understand the culture, allroverasia understands it, has seen it, as I have, they will not change, that would be to loose face
BuckyRover Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 It's nothing to do with Indian culture. I deal with Indian people every day and I have never come across such an attitude before. It seems they are mentalists.

In my opinion, they really are stupid, they have not made one good decision since they arrived at the club, speak absolute nonsense and despite the people who visited Pune said they wer knowledgable about football, I dont agree, football knowledge is something acquired over a period of time through experience, none of the family have that kind of experience.

What a contrast between their owners' attitude to a lack of success and our owners' toleration of failure, eh? Its nothing to do with toleration of failure, they appointed him so if they sack him they made a mistake = loss of face It's nothing to do with Indian culture. I deal with Indian people every day and I have never come across such an attitude before. It seems they are mentalists. Sorry your wrong, I have worked in it (Nashik, Mumbai and Pune) your looking at it from the outside, you don't get to see the real structure that way
47er Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 The news is Kean been offered a new role we are trying to solve some issues for a manager we want kean has been told this he still here due that we no where solving this issues I don't want to say much guys. I'm as anxious as anyone to hear what's going on but reading your posts is absolute torture. Please use some punctuation---genuinely not trying to offend.
Steve Moss Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Its nothing to do with toleration of failure, they appointed him so if they sack him they made a mistake = loss of face Sorry your wrong, I have worked in it (Nashik, Mumbai and Pune) your looking at it from the outside, you don't get to see the real structure that way The sad thing for them, is that they are losing "face" every day we sit at the bottom of the league table. The table never lies and conclusively demonstrates to the entire world that we are the worse run football club in the Premier League. They're proving on a daily basis that they don't have what it takes to run a team in the ultra competitive Premier League. The Premier League is perpetual struggle, a never ending battle. It's where the big boys play. The Raos are earning themselves the title of "Losers".
beerwins Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 If saving face if what they are most concerned about then maybe the protests are having an adverse effect, I think the biggest point of any business is money. I really feel that if there was a massive boycott of the Chelsea game and send out a few press releases stating that the protests are not being listened too and people are going to start voting with their feet. The boycott would serve as a financial protest and hit their pocket and would be less of an ultimatum stating do this or else. I will post this in the Chelsea thread as well just as an idea.
