Okay then, I assume that means that you can chant what you want during the game including chants aimed at the owners or Kean. Not that I agree with it, but there you go.

And nice, getting the protest banners out whilst the guys are warming up. Going to put them in the right frame of mind to play Chelsea, isn't it? Still, it suits your cause, because then you can blame Kean again, when they inevitably fail to win the game.

As much as I respect you as a poster on here roversmum, you're starting to embarass yourself with your overly positive stance.

Kean is a cancer on the club, and his record speaks for itself. Venky's employed him, so they're as culpable, and failing to take action relating to that is getting more and more damaging.

If you're criticising fans for protesting about any of the above, then there really is no helping you.

When you look at it in terms of this season his win percentage is only 10%

and at the beginning of the season all the kean defenders were telling us to forget last season, he's now had the summer, judge him from now they said! 10%? we were asked to judge on this season alone so we shall

Personally, I don't give a monkeys for Venky's nor, IMV, their puppet Kean. Both parties, IMO, have well nigh wrecked our club.

I find some of your arguments to be absurd and following your trip to Pune when it seems, IMO, that Venky's managed to brainwash you, I find your thoughts even more absurd. You very clearly sit in the minority of 1% in your love for these, IMO, shysters.

I knew I shouldn't have bothered looking at this messageboard again. Same old people saying the same old things.

I judge anyone who protests against Kean, the owners or whoever at our club at this moment in time.

We can't catch a break at the moment. Put the effort into getting behind the team and things will turn round. The only reason Newcastle got a penalty at Ewood mid week was because of the fans, we're giving up home advantage by getting on the manager's back. Against Spurs I heard "Kean Out" chants any time someone missplaced a pass. Talk about moronic. It kind of shows when you actually have a look at the numbskulls with the banners at games. ###### skin heads.

The atmosphere against Tottenham was superb, and as for the 'numbskulls with banners', doing yourself no favours wuth such sweeping statements. Do fans have no right to protest? Should we sit back and watch 2o years of stability being flushed down the toilet without a squeak?

Can you explain why you think a manager who had a 25% win ratio last season, who now has a 10% ratio, who has won 6 league games in getting on for a year will 'turn it round?' .

That was a great atmosphere... Were you sat in the away end?

The protests don't help create stability do they? What is being protested? A manager who has done a decent job so far this season and has been exceptionally unlucky. I never said he will turn anything around. I don't think there is much that needs to change apart from luck. And at home you make your own luck by getting behind your team and creating an atmosphere better than the odd Jack Walker chants used to protest against our owners. Which by the way I think is massively disrespectful and, frankly, sickening.

Oh and don't say that the chants aren't used in that way because they certainly are. The first thing after "Kean Out" sang at the post-match sit in was "There's only one Jack Walker".

A Jack Walker chant is 'sickening and disrespectful'? I think you find Venky's behavious towards Jack Walker's legacy and this football club fits your description.

One win all season is a record of a man doing a decent job? Your standards must be pretty low.

Decent job, what is your definition of decent out of interest?

Crazy!

Urgh, forget it. Instead of trying to be a smart arse, learn to read.

I have nothing to do and I still find this messageboard a complete waste of time and energy. I'm gone again.

The only reason Newcastle got a penalty at Ewood mid week was because of the fans

completely contradicted by the fact samba clearly manhandled Demba Ba at the same end but the referee ignored claims from their fan's????

A manager who has done a decent job so far this season and has been exceptionally unlucky. I never said he will turn anything around. I don't think there is much that needs to change apart from luck.

in 70% of our matches this season we have been beaten on possession

in 80% of our matches this season we have been beaten on shot-count

we have conceded more goals than anybody else in the league (bar bolton who have had some awful fixtures)

and you do not think there is anything much need's changing? that the fact we are being dominated in every possible field is just down to simply luck?

and that is without starting on Keans' record overall which make's him the 2nd worst ever manager statistically to manage in the premier league!! but then again he has had bad luck in each of his 31 matches i suppose

Unfortunately football is a fickle game and after Rovers beat Arsenal we had a lot of fans come out and have a pop at those who went on the first protest march before that game, and then a week later when Rovers were terrible away at Newcastle the anti-Kean fans came back with their argument (which is more than valid by the way, his record is undefendable). I can totally understand fans wanting to stay as positive as possible, i actually admire it in a way...HOWEVER its been nearly 12 months now, and just 6 wins later it really does becomes a lot to ask of fans to remain positive.

My own personal opinion is that some games you get lucky and some games you get unlucky and sometimes an unlucky result or 2 can hide the fact that Rovers have a football manager with a terrible record. Ultimately the luck evens out over the course of a season (a certain manager who guided Rovers to the Premiership title said that once) and you discover the truth behind the team and the manager, and right now Steve Kean in particular as a manager is just not good enough and the stats prove it. It counts for nothing playing well against Tottenham if you can't beat the likes of Wolves and Everton at home because ultimately its winning against the teams that are likely to be around you come May that determines Premiership survival. I'm just not convinced that Kean understands this.

I accept and enjoy that in patches Rovers actually play some really entertaining football but it takes a very special manager to get a team of Rovers quality to play that way and not leak goals left right and centre. Steve Kean for me is not a special manager that can do this. I genuinley believe Venky's mean well because despite the talk of huge transfer budgets in the summer they did at least spend an adequate amount in my opinion, and based on the Norwich game I think the team is good enough to stay up if we keep some consistency with the starting 11 and mould the team around Rochina, Hoilett and Olsson. I just sense that if a more experienced manager was in charge then we would see Rovers out of the bottom 3 right now.

It's a case of credit where its due and the truth is Steve Kean doesn't deserve any credit other than that fact that he, a man with no management experience wormed his way into managing a Premier League football team.

If after the Cheslea game Rovers go on a good run and get lets say 3 wins before Christmas then i'd like to think Kean has started to learn a few things but I can't see it, and i'm rediculously worried for Blackburn Rovers right now.

Whilst XLM doesn't help the cause, I have to admit I was genuinely surprised how many anti-protest people I spoke to at Norwich. That and how different the crowd felt, much more positive than recent home game. I know goals help and it doesn't shift my feelings to the manager, but it was interesting to see.

PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 31/10/ 2011

Blackburn Rovers Supporters planned Pre Match Protest "Operation Mis-Management".

The supporters of Blackburn Rovers Football Club will hold a 45 minute pre match sit-in protest on Saturday 5th November at Ewood Park prior to the Premiership fixture against Chelsea. This protest will be solely aimed at the owners of the club Venkys. The supporters are deeply concerned over the mis-management of the club over the last 12 months which includes:

· The removal of an experienced Board of directors and replacing them with individuals who have no track record in the positions they have been given.

· The removal of the clubs communication infrastructure.

· The sacking of a Sam Allardyce

· The clubs day to day running being relocated in India including accounts and decisions.

· No Chairperson

· No Chief Executive

· No clarification on new board members roles including Deputy Chief Executive Paul Hunt

· No-one at the club is answering fans emails or letters or engaging in communication with concerned supporters.

· No evidence of the financial pledge the new owners made upon purchase of the club.

· The owners continual backing of Steve Kean who has one of the worst Managerial records in the history of the club

· Blackburn Rovers involvement with Kentaro and Jerome Anderson with inflated agent fee's

· The clubs disciplinary procedures

· The owner's non-attendance at games especially chief decision maker Mrs A Desai who has attended just one game in 12 months.

· Season ticket sales down 15% whilst crowds down by 20%

· The owners are not communicating with supporters and have not put in place a chain of communication to ensure supporters can have concerns addressed

· No daily presence at the club from the Owners or a representative of the owners.

· The Manager not reporting to the board but directly speaking with the owners and not feeding information to the people in place at the club who have been appointed by the owners.

· The Club also deliberately played Music through the PA System at the last protest to try and drown out the chants despite being asked not to

· A member of Staff also threatened supporters during the league cup Victory over Newcastle United and had to be restrained by stewards.

Blackburn Rovers Supporters to hold sit in after the Chelsea fixture

For the fourth consecutive home league game, Blackburn Rovers supporters are planning organised protests to seek the removal of Steve Kean as manager.

The next planned protests will take the form of another post March sit-in after the Premier League fixture against Chelsea on Saturday 5th November immediately after the final whistle. This protest will last 45 minutes which has been agreed with the club and the Police.

Prior to this weekend's 'must-win' match at home to Chelsea, Steve Kean's Premier League record as manager currently reads:

Played: 31

Won: 6

Drawn: 10

Lost: 15

For: 37

Against: 55

POINTS: 28

Kean's current win ratio (19.35%) puts him substantially behind his predecessor Sam Allardyce, who was removed as manager by the current owners with a win percentage of 34.21%.

Under Steve Kean's management, the team has averaged less than a point a game (0.90) and has failed to win back-to-back Premiership games in that entire spell, despite claims that we are set to turn the corner at any given moment:

"I am sure we will pull through, get points on the board and climb the table very quickly." Steve Kean, 15th September

"I am very confident that we will be climbing the table and be in a very strong position at the end of the season." Steve Kean, 5th October

Failure to build on the team's only win of the campaign thus far, 4-3 against Arsenal, has seen the team slump to defeats against Newcastle United, Manchester City, and Spurs respectively. Whilst picking up two draws against two of the promoted teams in QPR and Norwich

The level of performance in those games and the manager's continued stance, ignoring the team's failings and attempting to paint a rosy picture over proceedings, has seen significant public momentum continue to gather against him; never more evident than in the closing stages of the Manchester City game, when unified resentment towards the manager had reached boiling point. Whilst against Spurs the sit in Protest peaked at around 4000 supporters, whilst 700 supporters attended the pre-match march. We have has these figures confimed by the Police and the Health and Safety officers from the club.

<br style="mso-special-character:line-break"> <br style="mso-special-character:line-break">

The on-going protests have attracted international media coverage and garnered significant support from UK based and worldwide fan groups as a whole.

The mailboxes of the protest organisers have been inundated with emails from far-reaching continents across the globe, highlighting the universal concerns of the vast majority of Blackburn Rovers supporters.

In addition we have also been in dialogue with the Towns councillors and the clubs Principle sponsors. Whilst box holders at Ewood attended the supporters recent open meeting including one of the clubs main sponsors.

The aim of the protest is to seek the removal of Steve Kean as manager , whilst letting the Venkys know that we are concerned about their mis-management of the club and seek and audience with them here in Blackburn under the umbrella of Blackburn Rovers supporters as a whole.

<br style="mso-special-character:line-break"> <br style="mso-special-character:line-break">

"Supporters frustrations are turning to anger as for the fourth successive Premiership home game supporters have to take part in an organised protest, as the current Owners, Board of Directors and Club Management refuse to communicate with supporters despite our best efforts to open dialogue. The only contact we have had from the club is from the Stadiums Health & Safety Manager who has been very courteous and shown an attention to detail to ensure supporters safety during the protest. We have organised all protest to the letter of the law and to date all have been carried out peacefully with no incident, arrest or warnings. We have co-operated at all times with the rules the club has put in place and seek an audience with the owners. The group is growing on a Daily basis and we vow that these protests will not end even if Steve Kean is removed. These protests will continue until Mrs Desai, B Rao or V Rao agrees to an audience with supporters so our concerns can be addressed democratically and without prejudice. We fear that the Legacy which the late Jack Walker left for us supporters to enjoy is being destroyed, whilst relegation would have a detrimental effect on the Towns Economy. The club has a duty of care to all stakeholders and the biggest stakeholder must always remain the supporters of the club, the owners are seriously failing the supporters and town of Blackburn and as proud supporters we will not sit back and allow this mis-management to continue without contesting it. We have received the backing of thousands of Blackburn Rovers supporters worldwide and we will see this through until the end on their behalf as we have made a commitment to them to do so" Glen Mullan Organiser
