The logical choice would be Vice City next then San Andreas, they've been using these cities in that order since the very first GTA. I've always wanted to see them expand on the GTA London that they brought out in addition to GTA 2 would make a great next-gen game. DC could be interesting though.

Vice City was the best GTA they have made imo. I agree it would be awesome if they made a london based one.

I heard from someone dont know if it's true but it was to be set in LA with all the actual streets, shops and popular places actually in the game.

I wonder if Rockstar could use some of the stuff they did for LA Noire at a base level

an analysis i found earlier interesting...

Blown away by the GTA 5 trailer? You should be because that was friggin’ amazing. Oh Rockstar, how do you do this all the time? You may not have noticed a lot of little things in the trailer, but fret not because we are to help you.

It was one of the best trailers we have ever seen and after watching it a lot of times, we think you should know the finer details from the trailer that you may have missed.

First of all check out the trailer again, we have posted our analysis below that.

The game has a better color palette, everything looks much better compared to previous GTA.

The song used in the trailer is by the Small Faces, called “Ogdens’ Nut Gone Flake/Afterglow”. You can watch the video here.

There are jets.

You can buy houses.

Hookers are back! Are you excited?

Insane chases

Mt. Chilead will return.

The game is set in San Andreas. Please check the image on top of this article for clues.

Countryside exploration

Beaches

Lots of minigames

Heavily modified engine

They’re gonna do a representation of Los Angeles again, which is apparent from the similar skyline and the Vinewood logo.

The game seems to be following GTA IV in its footsteps of realistic and dramatic storytelling.

The gameplay will be more sandbox, kind of like GTA San Andreas, because it looks like they’re bringing back several mini games and places like gyms etc.

The game will also include a mountainous region.

The protagonist is looking to become a “good guy” and a “family man”, so yo can probably look forward to many Niko-like moral dilemmas.

Looks like you might be able to fly planes again.

The music is gonna be freaking awesome considering the song used in the trailer.

Los Puerta is a lot more developed and urbanised than Liberty City is, and it looks like it has a better police force too.

You can expect the same old GTA humour. I mean, come on- a jet ski from a company called “Speedophile”? Construction equipment having a logo that says “STD Contractors”? Classic.

The protagonist is probably involved in some construction business, or architecture or something like that and looks very familiar. Any guesses? Possible answer posted below the image.

Tommy Vercetti? Yeah, he looks old now.

It looks like Grand Theft Auto V is looking to be the perfect cross between GTA IV and San Andreas, offering both a realistic and dramatic story with a troubled protagonist like the former and a hell lot of freedom and a Los Angeles-like city like the latter. And boy, the graphics and the music are downright amazing.
