I have looked for a topic on this subject and can't find one.

The draw for the next round after our win against Newcastle is imminent.

Who do we want?

Actually my guess is all the bigger teams will want to play us because of our poor form.

Other than being at home the best we could have got : )

pretty much - although wouldn't have minded Palace away - it was always a good ground for us. I liked going there

Well according to Kean and a few senior players, unhappy home supporters are affecting the little princess's delicate performances so no excuses with that for an away game

Think its week commencing the 28th nov so presumably the semis in january again? Might be getting abit ahead of myself but I suspect the semi line up will be rovers, man utd, man city and chelsea. Hmmmm...

Better than any of the 'big boys' away but a very difficult tie. They are a passionate lot down there and we'll certainly be faced by more than 6,000 home supporters (our support v Toon).

Make it through that and then it's likely to be one of Manure, Chelski or City.

Wonder if Keano still grinning ?

It's definitely a winnable tie for us. We have to hope that Man City are knocked out before they start fielding their full strength side because they are head and shoulders above all of the other teams left in the competition and must be odds on to win it - I think that the others are all just about beatable over 2 legs if we made it through to the semis.

Very winnable and that's all that you can hope for in a cup quarter-final. No excuses if we don't go through an hopefully Palace can dump out United and we can get them in the semis.

You're must be quite young. Second worst feeling I've had at football was at Palace.
