Finch Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 I have looked for a topic on this subject and can't find one. The draw for the next round after our win against Newcastle is imminent. Who do we want? Actually my guess is all the bigger teams will want to play us because of our poor form.

Dave S Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 The draw is on Talksport in a few minutes. Any Home draw for me.
Finch Posted October 29, 2011 Author Posted October 29, 2011 They're also showing it on soccer saturday... Cardiff away - not bad
Backroom Tom Posted October 29, 2011 Backroom Posted October 29, 2011 Arsenal city Chelsea Liverpool United palace Cardiff rovers
frosty Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Cardiff away. Shame it wasn't at home but good draw.
Hanks Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 The luck of the draw is with us again, Cardiff away
Finch Posted October 29, 2011 Author Posted October 29, 2011 Full draw Arsenal Man City Chelsea Liverpool Man Utd Palace Cardiff Blackburn we've escaped all the big teams
Derbyshire Blue Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Other than being at home the best we could have got : )
Finch Posted October 29, 2011 Author Posted October 29, 2011 Other than being at home the best we could have got : ) pretty much - although wouldn't have minded Palace away - it was always a good ground for us. I liked going there
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 2nd best draw we could have got. Hope we don't do a Birmingham.
Emge Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 What a lucky draw for us! If we can climb the table, I'll get a bit excited about this=)
Doug Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Kean must be sporting a 'lazy one' at the moment! Great draw for us!
Hughesy Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Gutted its not home. Typical United get home draw to easiest possible draw
Finch Posted October 29, 2011 Author Posted October 29, 2011 When are the ties being played? I missed that
perthblue02 Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Well according to Kean and a few senior players, unhappy home supporters are affecting the little princess's delicate performances so no excuses with that for an away game
ElTwis Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Think its week commencing the 28th nov so presumably the semis in january again? Might be getting abit ahead of myself but I suspect the semi line up will be rovers, man utd, man city and chelsea. Hmmmm...
Finch Posted October 29, 2011 Author Posted October 29, 2011 Cheers ElTwis Lets not get ahead of ourselves.... it's an easy draw, which may make it a banana skin
Presty On Tour Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Jumping for joy with the draw. See you there
sambo Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 As a Rovers fan studying in Cardiff, this is the perfect draw! Nearly the Dingles though
Mercer Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Better than any of the 'big boys' away but a very difficult tie. They are a passionate lot down there and we'll certainly be faced by more than 6,000 home supporters (our support v Toon). Make it through that and then it's likely to be one of Manure, Chelski or City. Wonder if Keano still grinning ?
Pedro Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 It's definitely a winnable tie for us. We have to hope that Man City are knocked out before they start fielding their full strength side because they are head and shoulders above all of the other teams left in the competition and must be odds on to win it - I think that the others are all just about beatable over 2 legs if we made it through to the semis.
Eddie Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Very winnable and that's all that you can hope for in a cup quarter-final. No excuses if we don't go through an hopefully Palace can dump out United and we can get them in the semis.
Mr Maureen Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 pretty much - although wouldn't have minded Palace away - it was always a good ground for us. I liked going there 1989
AllRoverAsia Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 pretty much - although wouldn't have minded Palace away - it was always a good ground for us. I liked going there You're must be quite young. Second worst feeling I've had at football was at Palace.
