Audax Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 http://www.soccerway.com/news/2011/November/04/rovers-owners-tell-kean-euro-plans/ Here is a story on the Rovers today at Soccerway. Not sure if it has been covered elsewhere. Apologies if it has.
Backroom Tom Posted November 4, 2011 Backroom Posted November 4, 2011 Our only chance is push hoilett high up the pitch and put balls in behind terry, let them do the damage to themselves then although terry could bring hoilett down bearing in on an open goal and not get sent off. 0-2 in reality Kean to blame the shadow of a plane above the ground

Kean to announce a League championship in three years and a solo manned Mars mission in four. Then an utter thrashing at the hands Wigan two weeks later.
seanc88 Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 http://www.soccerway.com/news/2011/November/04/rovers-owners-tell-kean-euro-plans/ Here is a story on the Rovers today at Soccerway. Not sure if it has been covered elsewhere. Apologies if it has. I'm not a Kean fan by any stretch but the owners are so full of ######. If they actually want us to be a successful team it'll take millions and millions to build a team to push us up the league. Our squad is fairly thin as it is and they're not securing future stars (such as Junior) let alone providing real money for transfers. We have a good few decent young players but they need experienced premiership players to help them on the way. Putting a team of inexperienced young players and some foreign talents(that haven't english football exp) is a recipe for disaster. We're unlucky to have people like Nelsen missing for this much of the season. We really need leaders in the team to organise the team. The last few games have been slightly better performance wise but I think that may be down to Paul Clement taking over training. I'd prefer if Kean went, but if Venkys are so determined to keep him, then give him money to spend and for f sake sort out the club. Paul Hunt should be handed the day to day running of the club. How they expect Mrs D(who knows very little about football) to run the club, from freakin India, is beyond me. Also if Jerome Anderson is seen around Ewood again he should be chased out of town. Ferguson said it best ‘Jerome Anderson? He couldn’t pick his nose. It’s baffling, and it’s a serious threat to how clubs are run and how they conduct themselves.' WTF "Obviously when you're in a position in the bottom three, it's not nice, but they're very successful business people," Kean said. I just don't know what the f them being successful business people has to do with football results
Ozz Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Some good work there Dennis. You going to night school at Runshaw?
den Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Some good work there Dennis. You going to night school at Runshaw? Yeah Ozz. Taking a degree in sarcasm. You passed with a first a few years ago I believe?
Ozz Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 I'm the Dean of the recently refurbished Lowest Form Of Wit faculty.
AllRoverAsia Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 BBC: Blackburn boss Steve Kean has received a boost with the news that David Dunn is available for selection after overcoming a calf injury. BBC: Junior Hoilett has also recovered from the tight hamstring he suffered in the draw with Norwich last weekend. Will Miles be on the bench I wonder as our dear Owners are here Got a feeling we might get a point out of this game - Chelsea have their own issues at the moment.
roverandout Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 if rovers are 3-0 down an hour or so into the game, do any of you think, there will be a 'man city type atmosphere' when they scored their 3 and 4th against us?
rovgers Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Got a feeling we might get a point out of this game - Chelsea have their own issues at the moment. I was thinking the same thing but how many times do teams like Chelsea go 3 games without a win in the PL?
Fraserkirky Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Looking forward to the game tommorrow. Any news on Vuckevic/Dann this week, are both in the squad. I hope we go with the same team as started at Norwich. Hopefully we can cause them some problems.
Ozz Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Almost exactly three years ago my son was born, and we also played Chelsea at home that weekend too, losing 2-0 to Anelkas brace in the rain. Report. I was sat in Preston hospital during the game, pretending not to care too much about the football whilst Mrs was plugged in to the machines. I suspect a similar result today, and Anelka is one of the players who always scores against us along with Heskey, RVP, RVN, Scholes etc. Slightly more concerned this year about the outcome though-a loss and wins elsewhere would mean a big gap opening up already, with two weeks before Wigan to sweat on it.
PAFELL Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 My heart says Rovers will pull off a surprise win today V chelsea. 2 - 1 Rovers. Though my head fears a Chelsea backlash after having lost the last two matches. With the result Rovers will suffer a heavy defeat. The only comfort is if the owners are there and they sack Kean on the spot.
Clitherover Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 The only comfort is if the owners are there and they sack Kean on the spot. Will they though?, I don't reckon they will.
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Heart says 2-1 Rovers today. Head and super 6 predictions says 0-3 Chelsea. Really hope we "Get into 'em" today and don't concede early.

pick32 Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 That team has been playing well, exact line up i would have gone for today.
Miker Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Is that an unchanged team? Yep, really happy with that, might actually have a chance. Let's just hope he doesn't kill it in the second half by making stupid changes.
pick32 Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Cech, Cole, Terry, Alex, Ivonovic, Mikel, Lampard, Ramires, Mata, Malouda, Sturridge
Backroom Tom Posted November 5, 2011 Backroom Posted November 5, 2011 This weirdly now looks winnable I'll wake up once I get to the ground
