Mattyblue
I hope this means that people will stop slating the owners, and look to work with them to sort out perceived issues. Why shouldn't they be slated? And the issues are only 'perceived', are they? Until they get a grip of themselves they will quite rightly get criticism. The decline of this club over the past 12 months shouldn't be brushed under the carpet because they 'mean well'. 'Meaning well' won't hold much water if/when we are relegated in 6 months. Kelbo
I hope this means that people will stop slating the owners, and look to work with them to sort out perceived issues. And with every respect, In hope the Owners begin to treat Rovers supporters as intelligent individuals and not something they wipe their feet on. Its one thing having a meeting, its another thing completely for positive actions, indeed, as of today, Venkys have talked an awful lot and failed to deliver, it is of my opinion they are 'stage struck' love the limelight yet unable to face up to the problems which exist at Rovers. If they address these problems, then I for one may change my course of thinking, however, again in my opinion, things have gone on far too long and we are now attempting to play some sort of catch up, again in my opinion,it is almost too late, the talking has to stop and action is needed immediately.! Mike Graham
I hope this means that people will stop slating the owners, and look to work with them to sort out perceived issues. sorry Mum but the Venkys , and puppet Kean, have put this Clb on the road to relegation. This is not perceived, please look at the results and the tactical nouse from a manager who has proved in court to be a liar.

Mercer
I hope this means that people will stop slating the owners, and look to work with them to sort out perceived issues. There is very, very little chance of this happening. Perceived issues !!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have, IMO, destroyed the heart ands soul of the club - it's structure has been destroyed and we've seen a constant stream of capable personnel leave the club eg Sam, Macca, Batty, Williams, Finn, Goodman, Pincher, Chief Scout, Acadamey staff. All replaced, or not in some instances, by, IMO, incompetents (judging by what's since gone on), whilst the leavers have all been snapped-up (if Kean left, he wouldn't get another job in football, IMO). Furthermore, we appear to be mortgaged to the hilt with seemingly little, if any, financial input from Venky's despite the terms of sale. And obviously, playing success wise, we are in meltdown - 6 wins from 31 PL games. So, all this means no sponsor, substantial decline in season tickets, falling gates, falling corporate business, a divided fan base, facing relegation and, if chitter chatter is correct, many in the squad disliking Kean. Perceived issues ? You're having a larf !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLJPB
I hope this means that people will stop slating the owners, and look to work with them to sort out perceived issues. The meeting was with people at the club - not the owners. Maybe you should ask your friends the owners to work with the fans to sort things out? Perceived issues ? You're having a larf !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was at the meeting last night and we were guaranteed that our owners still own every single asset which is Blackburn Rovers, Ewood, Brockhall etc. No properties have had mortgages taken out on them and I thought you knew (as its now public knowledge) that the mortgages have been taken out on future income/revenue (TV, PL etc) And I know your response will be "But what if we are relegated?" That was also my thoughts and thats why we have to continue with our peaceful protests to show our owners that Steve Kean is NOT the man to take Rovers forward and we will continue to protest until he is removed. I personally think November is the ideal month to sack the clown. We only have 3 games in the league, there is an international break. So remove him now and get in an experienced manager who will just about have enough time to turn things around. We can go for a more exotic manager at present like Ancelotti or someone else of his calibre. But if he is still here after the 6 league matches in December then we have to go for more of an Allardyce manager who has experience in relegation battles. The ball is in Venky's court to sort all of this out and fast!!

philipl
I hope this means that people will stop slating the owners, and look to work with them to sort out perceived issues. They might be lovely people but they have the public profile of incompetent morons. Somebody needs to tell them "Pune, we have a problem". As far as I can see that mortgage has not been rescinded as it is still live at Companies House. Venky's London Limited is 100% owned by Venk... But it means nothing until something is done. In Pune 9 of us sat down with them told them the concerns of the fans and so far nothing has changed. Talk is cheap. arbitro
I hope this means that people will stop slating the owners, and look to work with them to sort out perceived issues. Given the depth of feeling towards the owners and their abysmal record so far I find that statement inflammatory and insulting. How on earth can we work with them when they won't communicate with us. The little club with a big heart is on a lfe support machine.
broadsword
Why shouldn't they be slated? Because they have enough resources to fulfill any Rovers fan's dreams. If we would only stop protesting, the club would be playing Champions' League football next season.
