"I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

Evelyn Beatrice Hall has been misquoted many times as he summarised Voltaire in that one but....

"Opinions have caused more ills than the plague or earthquakes on this little globe of ours." was actually one of Voltaire's

He was never a Rovers' supporter though.

Lee must be feeling it. Anyone spoken to him lately? Is he still there?

Saw him at Norwich. Seemed happy enough, but said he'd been very very busy of late.

I would guess that Paul Hunt agrees with the concerns of the majority, but he's in no position to do anything about it.

I suspect this is a position a LOT of club employees find themselves in.

I dont think anyone high up within the club will come to meet us until the Premier Leagues investigations into the transfers of Rochina & Anderson have been completed. C4 Dispatches are also looking into these illegal activities and if we are found to be guilty then our club will be punished and also (hopefully) the people involved will be looking at jail time but that wont stop the inevitable of a points deduction. This may enlighten people to why Kean states a lot of the time (nearly every interview)he has the backing of the owners because he has inside info that can literally kill BRFC so if they sacked him he would then spill the beans. This was brought up in the meeting and John Newsham was surprised some of us knew and he declined to comment on the matter.

Agree, a very plausible reason why the owners don’t communicate about financial state of the club along with Kean’s future (in proper detail), is that there are some grave skeletons in the closet.

When you have an agency, and agent, so influential within the major decision making process, would it be that much of a surprise?

Well, no. But it just seems SO stupid. It is pretty obvious to anybody with half a brain that such matters would be looked into, so why would you risk it?

I hope that whatever has (allegedly) happened will come out eventually, because I just want this rotting gangrene (possibly) inside our club to be thrown to the wolves. If wrong-doing has occurred it should be heavily punished - and by that I mean the people doing it, not the club. Why should the entity of Blackburn Rovers FC suffer a punishment eg points deductions and so on? I wish there were mechanisms to stop this happening.

I hope this means that people will stop slating the owners, and look to work with them to sort out perceived issues.

Sorry Roversmum, but they are cretinous morons who are nice and snug in Jerome Anderson's pocket. Glenn Beck has a firmer grip on reality than them. They are almost as bad as that Ali Syed bloke who nearly bought us. We'd have been better off with the Walker Trust than these clowns.

Me too mate. People should be punished and not the club. I which of the 2 would be the giver/receiver when thrown in jail

Why have my posts been removed mods?

I've been talking to people via PM all day and feel I now have a better grasp of the situation.

People are giving me slightly different takes on the situation based on what they know. So my conclusion is this:

Jerome Anderson is an evil illegitimate. He is exactly the sort of person I can't stand and despise and stands for everything that I think is wrong in this world. His role in killing this club is unforgivable.

Venky's have been naive in their dealings and as a result have not only put us in a difficult position, but shot themselves in the foot.

I can understand why roversmum sympathizes with them, as I myself do to an extent. However, a failure is a failure.

I'm not sure if attacking them is helpful though.

Kean has to be sacked. Performances have improved, but it's more down to Clement's influence than Kean suddenly improving. His inability to get results, his poisonous persona and his blatant disregard of the fans is inexcusable.

Are we in a position to replace him? I think a massive clean up job needs to be done before we can.

Our financial situation is either dire or relatively salvageable. I HOPE it's the latter, but that can only be the case if I take an optimistic analysis of our situation.

Good post.

If every Rovers fan knew what Jerome Anderson was responsible for they'd be chanting for him out at every match. He, for me, has done far worse than Kean. And that's saying a lot.

From what I've gleaned from the papers and others (which may be incorrect), Jerome Anderson may have got Steve Kean the role of manager. And I firmly believe the adage "birds of a feather" hold true in their particular cases.

May? He's his agent isn't he? Pretty much darn well sure he did. His son has done alright too.

It was obvious from the very beginning that Anderson persuaded the permanently dumb to replace Allardyce with someone who would go along with "the plan".

As for Myles, well it's hard not to believe that this was a small gift to Anderson's "family".
