BRFC1995 Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Someone said on another thread that he has taken £11 million out of the club. It's a monumental waste of money. I think he's competing with Grabbi for the worst signing we've ever made. Ostenstad is up there, not going out on loan just sitting his contract out.......did not like that fella then there is Amoruso........rovers have ###### some money away on donkeys and cripples

Majiball Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 He should leave his body to science. Science will pass on that one, we prefer our bodies to be in one piece.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Unexpectedly missing again today. The " Guardian " says he's still got last weeks hip injury and instead of saying he'll be back next week as they usually do they say he'll be out for an " unknown " period of time ! I predict a Lazarus style recovery around "shop window" time.
Baz Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Unexpectedly missing again today. The " Guardian " says he's still got last weeks hip injury and instead of saying he'll be back next week as they usually do they say he'll be out for an " unknown " period of time ! I predict a Lazarus style recovery around "shop window" time. His comebacks suspiciously used to be somewhat in line with Aussie qualifying games and tournaments. Now I think even Vinnie has given up on them. I doubt he'll be fit for transfer window, theres no clubs gonna be interested (apart from Donny maybe who seem to love our rejects).
Amo Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 It's Venky's modus operandi to reward failure. So expect that lifetime contract for Vinnie any day now.
walk down bolton road Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Its just a pity coco cannot disappear to the same place vince hides every week.
LeftWinger Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Is he still actually injured? Or is this another Salgado situation where he could trigger a new contract or a pay rise if he plays?
AllRoverAsia Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Is he still actually injured? Or is this another Salgado situation where he could trigger a new contract or a pay rise if he plays? Wasn't he in the Venkys brochure of players for sale in the summer? I think he's on a big bonus for every game he plays.
joey_big_nose Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Ha! How can Grella have played enough games to trigger even the most generous of clauses? Just totally crocked. Our worst signing since Grabbi by quite a way. Considerable fee, high wages, never plays and no resale value.
LeftWinger Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Wasn't he in the Venkys brochure of players for sale in the summer? I think he's on a big bonus for every game he plays. Well remembered. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Blackburn-Rovers-reveal-salaries-of-El-Hadji-Diouf-Vince-Grella-and-Keith-Andrews-in-secret-list-to-hurry-exits-article782861.html Apparently he's on 30k a week - with a bonus of 6k every time he plays. Surely we're not leaving him out due to a 6k bonus payment per game? Have things got that bad?
Lathund Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Surely Grella is one of those players who you wouldn't doubt is actually injured?
Doug Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Is Vince fit and chomping at the bit to get out there and give it all for the club? Thought not! He, more than any player I can remember, is a complete waste of money. he must be sold or removed somehow from the payroll. His situation is completely unacceptable.
Stuart Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Which means he'll probably get a new contract. To "protect our investment" You can just imagine Kean's presse... "As we learned with Junior, we can't let players' contracts run down, just because of the odd injury. We support all of our players, that's the kind of club we are and that's the kind of manager I am".
Plastic Head Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Vince actually died of death on 29th September. Nobody has noticed.
steven Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Vince actually died of death on 29th September. Nobody has noticed. Not even his wife
Amo Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 If it's another Salgado situation (and an app will trigger a new contract), then I hope he stays a million miles away. He's leeched enough money outta this club.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Disgusting when footballers play on injuries...pay him up and out the club asap.
trueblueroversiloveu Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Absolute disgrace is vinnie, no professional sportsman is injured 99% of the decade. Biggest waste of money i've ever not met
Mike Graham Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I hear that Vinny now has a serious foot injury. I am told by an ITK that he dropped his wallet on his scoring foot.
Ozz Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Vinnie has been injured 14 times at Rovers according to this website. Grellas history. Possibly the most injured player we have ever had?
Drover Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 That is unbelievable. The man has effectively injured every part of his lower limb multiple times. I worked on a orthopaedics/ physio placement for a while and saw absolutely nothing close to this. Surely he should hand his body over to science.....

Would it be possible for Vincey to place the blame for this in our club? Or would the club be able to claim insurance on his contract aka Martin Dahlins knee?
