[Archived] The Kean Out Plane

Lot of droning of engines for the JW Upper. No sight of a plane. Large portion of crowd would have had no idea what was going on.

Complete load of balls from you as usual. I was in the JW Upper and took photographs of the banner.

You are the fan's leader Glen. If the mods are removing your posts I am disgusted with them, unless you are leaving the site open to prosecution. Which I very much doubt.

Give over. Theres no removed posts that I can see.

I don't think there is a fund to raise money for a blimp, one of the club's major sponsors have said they will buy it , does that not tell you something?

didnt realise i needed to be told somthing!, but thank you.

as for the blimp-

"glen9mullanglen mullanWe have had many asking for a blimp, so lets make it happen" from twitter, this is all im going of and the fact that there is money left over in the kitty from the plane fundraising also glen mullan has said he is constantly being give contributions towards the kean out fund by fans.

This is how i see it, weve got the points i thought we would get away from home. Ok, weve dropped a few points at home but also picked up 3 that non of s coul have expected.

The next few games are the ones where we should be picking up wins. If we dont then there is no way Kean can stay on as manager. Maybe it will be to late.

Yes it's going well. That's why we are in a relegation position.

Reading this thread it appears half the fans want to protest and be seen to be doing something, the other half want change but are either too apathetic to join the protest or they simply want to sit on there hands, seemingly too afraid to speak out as if protest is to be seen as some form of personal embarrassment for them.....

Nowt as queer as Rovers fans!

I'm only speaking for myself saying this, but! GLENN MULLEN IS NOT MY LEADER,thank you, i agree with his motives/reasons totally and respect the amount of time and effort he as put in, but hes no leader of mine or anybody else's as I'm sure he would agree.

Fair does, it wasn't meant as a personal "tell you something" but a general one, was badly worded on my part, anyway there is a post on this thread from glenmullan page 3/4 I think made yesterday , about the offer from a sponsor of the club offering to buy a blimp.

No offence al but I take issue with that, glen obviously follows the same guidelines as any of us. Also whilst I appreciate the effort put in by glen to say he's the fans leader is wrong he's not my leader nor would he ever claim to be.

We sit row 11 Jw upper and you couldn't see the plane. You could hear it, but not see it. Maybe those lower down could, but not from row 10 back.

Typical of people from the town of Blackburn. "It's not my problem", can't be bothered, whats the point?, things will change... Absolutely pathetic. Those who went home instead of protesting because of one half decent home performance should be ashamed of themselves AND should also feel ashamed that they obviously dont think OUR club deserves better.

Would rather give up, go home, go to the booze buster with their dole money and watch X Factor.

Well done to those who stayed.

When you get down off your high horse, go and sit in the corner and have some quiet time.

This judgmental attitude of those who protest to those that don't protest is unbelievable, hardly anybody stayed anyway and believe me, I'm hurting as much as anyone about the current situation.

I'd probably donate to a blimp if I felt the time was right.

The fact we will kill Wigan the way we are playing, seem to premature.

And we need all the support we can get for wigan, must win.

To lose this would be a nightmare, I'd pay for the whole blimp myself.

Who else is taking the lead then? If it were not for Glen Kean would be taking us on the easy ride to oblivion. At least Glen is leading us to make it harder for the clown.

I'd post my photographs if somebody would tell me how. I sit in row 6 and there is plenty of sky above the banner. I don't believe that four rows further back the plane was invisible.

Part of te problem al may be that we don't need a leader things need to happen by themself to have effect

You prefer anarchy then do you. That's the sure way to lose credibility.

And once again someone he stayed behind feels they are right to insult anyone who didn't.

Shocking attitudes from both sides being displayed

Tell you what isn't shocking... A rovers fan who sits on the fence. Well done.

What a load of tripe.

The protests are attracting a right set of chavvy morons too. Some clown with about 3 teeth was trying to encourage me to burn a police horse with a cig after the city game, he was promptly told to eff off.

Was that you?
