All,

Following Glenn P's appeal for help I am going to arrange a BRFCS Sportsmans Dinner for sometime Q1 2012!

Just wanted to understand the interest and when/where would be best? Ewood, Canberra Club, Hotel...

Anyways let me know.

Cheers

Gary

If its anywhere but venkys coop then yes if at ewood then I won't be giving the V's any more of my money.

A good point which in the current climate a few will be in agreement with you!

I'm up for that in fact I looked into organising one last year but got sidetracked.

Blackburn rugby club quoted me decent prices so that may be worth a check pal.

Ha ha, as long as we have a mod table in a nice elevated position ;)

I like the sound of that ricky we can tell people off all night :P

You had a kid, distractions don't come much bigger! Though it probably is worth you to swapping notes (and BPF who I believed looked into it last season).

I know traditionally sportsmans dinners tend to be all mail affairs, but this really needs to be open to all (well, all adults, or the drinks license could be a mess).

Last one I went to was in rishton golf club Abbs bit of a shoddy place.

I personally think its better as members only so people mingle more but I'm happy either way.

Think it's a great ideA, I would be interested.

I also think a table plan needs to be created on here before any event, so that people who know each other can share a table.

If you're buying the beers I'm happy Abbs, I'll even pretend I know about Tim Tebow.

Wonder if Fernhurst do them? Just thinking f places with access to hotels as there aren't many hotels in the area

King georges hall could be a good shout depending on price and numbers.

It needs organising date setting and people committing to buying a ticket.

yeah I'd be up for that and if either roversmum or kamy are coming I wouldn't mind sharing a table with either or both of them.

Roversmum's married. Don't know about Kamy though, he might be available?
