[Archived] Give Kean a Break

Recommended Posts

the lads always put on a captivating performance are you a Lady? just a question.

Why, you on the pull? :P

On a more serious note.

Play nice guys. I've long been encouraging somebody to stand up an support Kean, so we can at least debate both sides (after you've read your 500th "Kean Out" post, it gets a bit tedious, whether you agree with it or not), don't scare this one off.

This guy is obviously a Burnley fan on a wind up. Or if, heaven forbid, he isn’t then I imagine he owns more than his fair share of tin foil hats. Don’t worry skipper no aliens will want to steel your brain waves the last brain cell obviously died of loneliness a long time ago.

Now Chris do as the nice nurse tells you and take your medication. It’s the only way you’ll get better.

I don’t want to appear to be mocking the mentally ill so hope you get better soon and one day you may be reintegrated back into society. keep reaching for that rainbow.

Tough one this. The case for removing Kean hasn't been made outside of BRFC life, hence the media and the ex-pros are condemning the protests. This may not be a problem unless our prospective new manager is of the same view in which case we are watering our own grave so to speak. This is why any action shouldn't be personal.

Does anyone know what the players think of this? If I were them I would much rather be playing away from Ewood with the current atmosphere.

Just to pick up on great football since the title-winning season.

The 7-0 v Forest and the 7-2 v Sheffield Wednesday.

The 4-0 (was it?) away at spurs, duff's last game, was pretty good too...

Oh and by the way thanking you Glenn. This site is new to me and again its only my opinion controversial as it seems. The protests etc are boring 3 points against Wigan and things will start to look better and who knows where we can go from there if we perform and gain confidence and momentum from it.

I'm not really sure why this should be a factor because the pundits never ever condone the sacking of a manager. This is now proven, given that Steve Kean has an atrocious record and they are still singing his praises. I think a manager could rape a fan in the middle of the pitch and Mark Lawrenson would still camply say... "Well I think the fans should give him a chance, he's under a lot of pressure."

Also with regards to what the players make of it, if we go down we'll supposedly lose a lot of them anyway due to plugging up financial problems.

I would then start to worry. The way we have performed of late though i really cant see that happening my prediction is a 0-3 Rovers victory

Don't tell me, two by Jason Roberts and a header by Myles Anderson in injury time?

So now you've established that people who want Kean out can read, write, and actually have enthusiasm enough to go on BRFC message boards.

Wow - so anyone that doesn't spend all their times on internet message boards aren't real supporters - or don't have enthusiasm ? I think considering the numbers that visit this MB - we are in the minority. So you are basically calling a large majority of the Rovers support !

Whats the point in 100 people protesting after the game???? makes us luck like muppets, Simple!! Im not on my own other fans ive spoken to are fully behind Kean and the team. A couple of wins and things will look a whole lot better people.

Don't hold your breath though! Those wins have been a bit elusive! I think you're a dingle (or a buffoon)--------or both!

Anyone unhappy with the calibre of players brought in by Steve? or his youth policy?

How the hell are you still typing why have they taken your straightjacket off. More to the point why are your care staff letting you loose on a computer.

Quality of players petrovic is horrendous, goodwillie is fat and unfit championship quality no more and no better on right wing either, rochina/formica great players for 65 minutes then run out of steam all in all decent, yak is 40 if he’s a day, dann is ok, Anderson well jesus wept, ribero looked awful in friendly vs. Stanley.

So very much a mixed bag certainly not enough to justify him staying. But most importantly win% of 18.75%

We haven’t scored in last 15 mins of any game this season.

We have only scored last goal in a game once.

Kept 0 clean sheets in 17.

Quality of football is better than fat Sam. But its about results man.

He is as deluded as you are. Mad as a bag of wasps.

In fact I am going to stop there I could write a thesis on why Kean should be sacked but I’m not arguing with someone who comes straight out of the cast of one flew over the cuckoo’s nest.

I’m off for a drink after encountering you.

Your pathetic mate, most probably one of the 100 muppets trying to get your face on Sky Sports news or perhaps your the ar*ehole with the inbred wippet sporting the Taxi for Kean sign.

It really is scary the type of lunatics that are coming out of the woodwork after draws with QPR and Norwich away and defeats to Tottenham and Chelsea at home. Not so long ago at all that run of results would have been looked on in a markedly dim light by our proud club, regardless of a bit of bad luck. Now it is apparently the stimulus for a resurgence of support in one of the worst managers in living memory.

And who is going to score us these 3 goals you confidently predict ? Roberts couldn't hit the net if it was twice as big ! Goodwillie hasn't even hit the target all season ! After a flying start, the Yak looks out of sorts as he's struggled to work in the formation Kean has set out ! Your only hope is Rochina or Formica, but as Kean always seems to substitute them, even though they have been 2 of our best players, he will no doubt replace them with Fat Boy Dunn and the even more useless Petrovic

Wigan are as desperate as us for 3 points so it's not going to be a pretty game so Rochina and Formica may struggle

I would love you to be right as I am as desperate for a win as any fan, but I just don't see it.

Phew, just stopped laughing. Look mate, you've got nothing to back up what you're saying other than blind hope. If we turn it round and go on a run then brilliant. But what on earth makes you think we can? The players he signed are not really an issue because out the 9 he only plays two or three at most. The majority are slightly above average at best. Fair enough the performances have improved, but the players will be demoralised after playin well for the last three games and coming away with only a point. Hoilett looked entirely disinterested on Saturday, and he's our main threat. 1 injury and it puts the team straight on the back foot not enough quality in the squad. Lowe is suspended, Salgado is injured an past it, Samba is injured (how long for) Dann is injured. That ain't a good start. I'm not even getting on to Kean. I would have give the man some time if he could have shown a bit of humility and respect. He has done neither. Love to be wrong mate, but the facts far out weigh the hope.

Are you the idiot that sends Kean those "incredible amounts of letters of support" along with some very strong E's for his post match interviews.

Yes that's exactly what I was doing. Just as much as you saying that the reason for the animosity towards Kean was mainly cooked up on the internet.

And there was me thinking it was the truly atrocious run of results, the terrible PR and the fact that we're at the bottom of the league.

Silly me, it's all the internets fault. Well done DavidMailsTightPerm.

You're being very kind.

Your postings were textbook WUM until this one, just took it too far and ruined it... sad to see.
