I don't believe they are just stupid.

I think they are being very devious about their true intentions.

Nobody who pays £20M for an asset would do this to said asset.

Unless there were ulterior motives for getting a greater amount of money back into the Venkys accounts & then being able to walk away scot free when the club goes into liquidation.

20M is an absolute bargain for our club. We are now hocked to the tune of 120M so making some dollar on top of your 20M investment surely can't be that hard. No-one knows what the motives are and we most likely never will, but I'd rest far easier if Jerome wasn't involved his track record is very public knowledge and not always positive.

Anything that was put in the public domain would be the last nail in Blackburn Rovers coffin, and not in Venkys coffin. The owners can ride off into the sunset whilst we are left with very little.

If this was the way to go, dnt you think we would of already done this? Especially from a protest point of view? This is part of the reasons of protest, people know what certain people are sitting on (Including the club) and are trying all angles to wake the owners up, although I must admit that that its getting very close to the truth coming out, which when it does will be a bad day for all rovers supporters.

Please don't start everyone else with the put up or shut up comments as there is massive reasons why things are not being put in the public domain and podcast 14 explains a little of this

I appreciate that all involved have Rovers' best intentions at heart and I don't doubt that the ramifications from information not currently in the public domain could be huge.

But, at the moment, whichever way you look at it the Venkys will ride off into the sunset with very little left for us. I see 3 potential scenarios:

a) Venky see sense and start running us a football club.

b ) Venkys continue to damamge the club for quite some time, pile on huge debt, send us down and clean us out.

c) Venkys shady dealings are exposed, the club takes a short term hit but so do Venkys.

Scenario A is unlikely based on the last 12 months.

If its a choice between B or C I would go with C simply because the increased scrutiny on Venkys should to an extent protect us and would prevent them from doing any major further damage.

We are going to suffer, we just need to ensure that we minimise the damage.

Glen, there are supporters who now think that it would be better to out the Rao's and bite the bullet!

Exactly. Why should certain parties make more money at our clubs expense in the long term?

Having said that I'm not party to the exact details of what's going on. Points deduction perhaps? Lose at Wigan and it will hardly matter - that based on a points to game ratio over the last 12 months.

To go off at a tangent - does anyone know what's happening with the involvement of Ian's Battersby and Currie? There was a little bit of optimism there for a brief moment.

Posted in the Steve Kean thread:

Steve Kean isn't going anywhere. Venky's are not comparable to other owners so therefore this idea that a loss at Wigan will make Kean's position untenable is bunkum. The tossers in Pune couldn't care less.

I would much rather the people in the know expose the Raos alleged shady dealings NOW and get them out of Rovers, even if it damages the club.

What could possibly be worse for Blackburn Rovers than carrying on with this parasitic scum at the helm?

Really, what?

Starting to agree with this stance more and more. If things continue the way they are going, the club will end up damaged. Relegation has the same result. Doing nothing, saying nothing the same result. So options are becoming very limited.

The clock is ticking. But I cannot help thinking that the truth, even though painful, could unite supporters.

PLAYERS WORKING VERY HARD

It has been commented that the players are "working hard" and this is being spun to the media as support for Steve Kean and the owners.

I put it to you that this is nothing more than selfish passion brough about by the colective realisation that they will no longer be "PREMIERSHIP" players.

I suggest that the real motivations you are seeing on the pitch are greed, lust and power that becomes of playing in the Premier League and unless they themselves (the players), do something about it they will be no more.

It this their own VALUE and STATUS they are playing for, not Steve Kean nor VENKY

Surely Glen there's going to be a melt-down at some point? Might as well get it over with while there's still a chance of recovering something.

In the words of Mrs Desai 'why wait?"

I know people slag Graham Taylor off but he stated early on in the Venkys reign that it was frightening what he was hearing about these people and their agenda. Anyone remember Wolves being knocked out of the F.A Cup by Chorley? That could be us in 3 or 4 years.

SCUM

summed up in 4 letters perfectly.

although i'd like to add 'ASSET STRIPPING' SCUM

I take it all the raos money is inherited as the offspring all seem too thick to be business people, i hope if they ever show they're faces they get a chorus of abuse not going to change they're approach to ***k all at the club.

Dave Whelan is not the most popular either but I made his prophetic words from last Nov part of my sig...

"The Blackburn deal doesn't sound right, and it doesn't look right,"
