rover1995 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Disgusting, horrible ######. Ruined our club, we need to do something big against them guys.
mark1875 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Tragic. I do hope the LT will re run the article. Failing that how about stumping up for another plane to circle the Britannia Stadium on the 19th towing a banner saying Venkeys..."Judge us after 12 months". Why would you want a plane to circle the Stoke v QPR match? I presume you meant circling the DW stadium?
BRFC1995 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Why would you want a plane to circle the Stoke v QPR match? I presume you meant circling the DW stadium? we want exposure globally if even remote pressure is to be placed on the owners...............whens the next liverpool united super sunday media love in........Fly the plane over that match for a grand that would be priceless

PAFELL Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Venkys are rapidly becoming an embarrassment in the UK. Venkys is just another name for - idiots.
Parsonblue Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 In twelve short months the owners have managed to destroy everything that the club stood for. They had ripped out the heart and soul of the club and the woman who makes the decisions can't even be bothered to get off her backside to actually attend matches at Ewood Park. Quite simply the family are not fit to run a football club. The Trust may not have been perfect but the club was run on a sound footing and they delivered the longest period of top flight football since before the Second World War. They have made us a national laughing stock and have managed to completely undo all the good work that John Williams did in building up the fanbase. We are several thousand down on attendances and that means less revenue for the club in terms of sales in the club shop and lottery tickets etc. Desai and her brothers are the perfect illustration of how not to run a football club. For me the final insult came last week when we stood for a minute's silence to remember those who gave their lives for our freedom and yet the freedom to protest with banners was forbidden by the jackboot mentality that now surrounds Ewood Park. Blackburn Rovers is no longer a family club, indeed, it could be argued that it's no longer a football club as such, merely a marketing offshoot for some minor business in Pune.
Mike Graham Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Giblets btw: what happened to the posts on this thread about a major sponsor (WEC? possibly) leaving please?
ABBEY Posted November 12, 2011 Author Posted November 12, 2011 Takeover rumours in twitter land ..pray be true.
jodrell Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Dear Mrs D One of your first comments when youbought the club you said in business you have to make 8 or 9 decisions right. Since you took control IMO you have not got one right for the club and customers, the fans. Make just one right decision sell up and get out of Blackburn Rovers Jodrell
Billy Castell Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 And the votes are in...........Venky's are a bunch of pathetic, clueless, spineless imbeciles who allow themselves to be bum raped by the parasite Jerome Anderson. You have let a chance to leave with grace go and now you will see what several thousand angry people will do.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Utterly clueless, should have never been allowed anywhere near our football club,or any other for that matter.
J*B Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 except burnley Wouldn't even wish them on Burnley.
CAPT KAYOS Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 " Judge us in twelve months..." GUILTY This is what I was thinking should be put on banners now.
booth Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 They've employed the worst manager we've ever had. Over the weekend they've made the worst decision ever in the history of the club. We've lost an excellent chairman and haven't replaced him. We're bottom of the league. We're in more debt than when they came here. We've had the worst start to the season since the early 1900's. VENKYS PLEASE LEAVE

booth Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Apart from that, they've done awright. Sanitation? Seriously, they are the worst owners in the Premier League. At least Kenright has kept Everton ticking over since he's been in charge, and no way would he have put Kean in charge. Mike Ashley wouldn't say no to the offer as well. I wish I was a billionaire. I'd buy the whole company, free all the chickens and sack fatso.
alexanders Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Im actually a little bit torn. Reading this board makes me really angry and negative towrds Venkys, but worse of all towards my club. On the other hand I try to think realistically about the situation without getting caught into all the non-facts and rumours. I dont say its not correct, but I have to handle them as rumours, beacuse we dont have any proofs. The one thing grinding my gears is Steve Kean still in charge. Besides that I am fairly happy with the Venky's so far. I have had a job now as a marketing manager where I came right form school - 10 years younger than most of my colleagues and with much less education and job experience. Besides all this my bosses stuck with me through 2 horrible years where I didnt show much results - only activity in form of meetings and cold-calls. This year I am looking to become one of the top sellers. I am not trying to brag - only get a different perspective on it. IF my bosses had done the correct thing they would probably fire me after not delievering the goods, but they believed I was the right man for the job,had patience and it paid off. I really dont say it will with Steve Kean, but it's possible to defend the situation that he is still in the jobb. They are probably looking for stability which is a key to most clubs. Whelan whome many rave about as the perfect owner is still looking to back Martinez even though Wigan have been as bad as us - if not worse.

We'll be stable down there all season.
