Rovers_Dan Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 I thought we had cancelled his contract and let him go?? Had a cracking game in the reserves last night, very physical. Possible first team inclusion soon?

Andy Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 In my opinion, he's currently a better option thatn Petrovic, whilst Petrovic is still adjusting to the English league.
Rovers_Dan Posted November 9, 2011 Author Posted November 9, 2011 looked a bit more mobile too, seemed to have shed a few pounds.
Mike Graham Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 I hope that no one refers to him as "Chicken Goujon"! Powerful lad mind.
Muddboy Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Showed some nice touches and a bit of skill but I still don't think he's mobile enough to do a good enough job in the middle during a Prem game. If you don't have speed, you need to compensate for that by having a extra special footballing brain. I don't think he has that.
LeChuck Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 I think he's worth another try. Not many players have the combination of his size and technique, if we can find a role in the team for him he could be very effective. N'Zonzi and Pedersen are the first two names on the team sheet for me at the moment, but I'd have Goulon on the bench.
seanc88 Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 from what i saw of the reserve match he looked fairly decent. Didn't rate him originally but he seems to be working hard and might be worth a go.
allanncd Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Is this a relaunch of "Herold" although "Daryll" isn't a French name as far as I'm aware.
bazza Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Herold Goulon has to be the worst ever player I have seen wearing the blue and white halves. He will have to have improved a million per cent to be better than KA, even.
donnermeat Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I think he got the nickname Daryl from his teammates at Middlesbrough.
BRFC_Pilkz Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Dean Saunders has snapped up his second signing of the week in the shape of former France Under 21 international giant Herold Goulon, subject to paperwork - and there could be more to follow.Goulon has signed on loan from Blackburn Rovers until 22nd January after previously training with the club.
