As my username suggests, I'm Matthew.

I was born in rural County Down to an Irish father and Welsh mother. I was raised just outside Belfast where I now live. I gained my LL.B at Queen's. I received my professional qualification from that institution also, in September 2010, having worked in and trained with a large high street firm in Belfast from 2005 until 2010. I was enrolled as a solicitor of the Court of Judicature of Northern Ireland in December 2010. I worked for a further six months very recently - in a different firm - on the largest litigation in the UK however this almost killed me and I'm now back at Queen's for a third stint, studying for my MSSc in Criminal Justice.

I've been a Rovers fan since 1993 and I have greatly enjoyed the glorious ups and the brief downs. I am now greatly concerned with the direction in which the club is headed.

My favourite players of all time (Rovers included) are Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo, Tugay, Mark Atkins and Henrik Larsson.

I've been a member of this site since July 2001 and post on a regular basis. Personally I love playing football, watching football and the NFL, travelling to France and to the US and socialising with my friends and family.
