[Archived] Attention must turn to Venkys and the Board !

any protests against venkys will be pointless if the qatari group move on another club, shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted springs to mind, cant see any more opportunities like this if venkys dig their heels in, any offers from other interested parties will feel a bit like' after the lord mayor's show'.

I think it's been mentioned before that a full page spread in the Times of India would cost £1000 - relatively cheap for a national newspaper. It would surely have more effect than one in the LET which whilst gaining exposure here (as the protests have done)could be easily ignored by those on the other side of the world.

We raised £700 in barely a day for the plane. I'm sure we could manage £1000.

My only concern would be whether such a move would make Venkys even less inclined to sell. They seem completely against listening to the concern of fans and lack common sense. I feel those more ITK such as Glen, Simon or Kamy would be better to advise whether it was good to push through an idea such as this.

My heart and head say this is another moment of brief hope which will be quashed while we languish in the mire for whatever period of time it is before the next ray of sunshine.

A message to Venkys needs to be communicated, quicky and effectively.

An ad in the LET could be organised for Tuesday relatively easily and cheaply, this will get picked up by the Nationals and subesequently Venkys.

It has already been said that an ad in India will be costly and problematic as the Venkys have multi million accounts that the print media won't want to jeopardise.

As someone who is pro Kean, purely based on the fact that I don't believe we will get any better than him, I am firmly behind VENKYS OUT!! I was one of those to 100% back them and fully give them time, I still would to be fair. However there has been too much said that we can't deny that they have been incredibly dodgy, they have trusted people they shouldn't have, they havent rid these people from our club and have shown naivety and ignorance that is destroying the club. So with this it is time to turn our attentions to protesting against Venkys. Although I genuinely believe they had our best interests at heart, they have failed miserably and the longer they stay at the club the more chance within the coming years we will continuously drop the through the leagues or even god forbid, cease to exist.

VENKYS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Venky's out banners at Wigan then.

Flying behind a plane at Wigan would grab attention, press must be expecting a follow up to kean out at Chelsea game. Attention would be firmly on the Venky's then.

Now that is a good idea.

Great idea, more than happy to contribute who has the skill and contacts to do this?
