Glen Mullan, the most pointless protest I have ever heard, get a grip you moron, it's 'fans' like you that are making this club a laughing stock. What do you hope to achieve by doing this? Get your sour chops on Granada reports again? I'm sick of seeing you bumbling your way through interviews, trying to string a coherent sentence together, your money would be better spent on some English lessons, not wreaths.

Glen Mullan does not pick the team, Glen did not sack the best management team in the PL, Glen did not pay the highest tranfer commisions in the clubs history, Glen does not threaten to sue the supporters, Glen has not took us to the foot of the table, who are the morons really?

Instead of your keyboard warrior stance, come find me at the Wigan game Row P seat 131

Why has Andy, who has now made his 3rd posting, only got -3 recorded against him when 7 posters have given him a -?

Count me in, anything I can do, just let me know, can't belive the attitude from some on this board today, not fit to be called supporters some people,

probably had it to easy

Again, instead of focussing your efforts on what you are doing why feel the need to attack other fans? It doesn't help the cause at all, quite the opposite.

This goes both ways I keep seeing protesters insulting anyone not protesting and non protesters insulting anyone protesting.

I can see it coming to a head.

I was calling out Mullan, not you Krypton Factor, wind your neck in you sycophant

Noun

sycophant (plural sycophants)

1.One who uses compliments to gain self-serving favor or advantage from another.

2.One who seeks to gain through the powerful and influential.

[edit] Synonyms

(one who uses compliments to gain favor): ass-kisser, brown noser, suck up, yes man

(one who seeks to gain through the powerful): parasite, flunky, lackey

Theres no need to resort to name calling from anybody.

This is how the current perdicament of the club has caused fellow supporters to act towards each other.

Oh how very constructive Andy, I can’t quite remember all your plethora of posts on the best way to rid our club of this cancer, no I can’t remember any, instead of coming on here and slagging off someone who actually is trying to do something, why don’t you pop off back to dingledome.

Keep up the grerat efforts Glen, i for one look forward to seeing your "Sour Chops" telling it how it is, on Granada!

and who do you think caused that situation?

Personally I think the owner's caused it and not many would disagree there.

What people obviously do disagree on is the best way forward for the fans and I don't see why anyone should be insulted or blamed for holding whatever opinion, none of their views are in spite I am sure.

Okay so we will take your view then, here goes;

My football club has owners that have tripled debts, promised promises that cannot be fulfilled, made us a laughing stock, got rid of the best chairman in the league, employed the worst manager in the history of English football and all in all ripped the heart out of my club.

BUT worry not I am just going to take my seat in the stadium and carry on as normal.

But it just seems there are two groups:

1) The do somethings

2) The do nothings aka the perpetual-wait-and-sees

The magic formula for doing the right things hasn't been worked out yet. I think people thought the right thing was to line up a buyer. Seems even that was the wrong thing.

Just think, though, if we were to get 6 wins out of the next 6 games. It's unimaginable really but that would put us on a very healthy points total for the time of the year. Sadly the actions of the last 12 months - not least the choice of manager - have meant that the pressure on these next half dozen games is so immense that we could just as easly get 0 point from them all!

I wonder if the WEC move could prove the tipping point for a few more category 2)s to become category 1)s...

For me this isn't a 'protest' as such, but an opportunity to reflect, and reminisce about what we were, what we became, and how it all got to this.

Standing under Jack's statue has never been as poignant as it was today, and I would encourage everyone else to experience it this week.

I don't know if the meaning will strike home with Venky's, or even if they'll realise the flowers are not to welcome them! What I do know is that I'm glad I drove down to Ewood tonight, took a few moments out of my evening, and thought about our beloved club, and our greatest ever supporter.

Agreed, to stop and reflect on the efforts Jack Walker put into our GREAT club, the suberb management of the club for 10 years to protect his legacy to be dismanted in 12 months is heartbreaking. It does not matter if is through incompetence, neglect for something more sinister. It is CRIMINAL!!!!

We cannot allow this to continue. We cannot allow BRFC's for greatest ever fan, the man that allowed us to have so many great memories, for his legacy to be shattered without a fight.

I wish that Venky's would have been a success, they have not, it's gone to far for a lot of fans now. They need to realise this.

With every step of this journey the fans become more polarised. I wouldn't have believed it but I really think now that the protests are beginning to push more people to favour the owners and the management at Ewood. That has certainly become the case amongst the bulk of the media and football pundits. I can't think of a recent article by anyone from within football that didn't indicate that the feeling was that the protests were unfair.

Am I unhappy about where the Rovers are at the moment - yes. Have I decided the world is going to end - no.

There are more important things in the world to demonstrate about today. Sorry if that offends, I have respect for Glen and Simon for the efforts they have made to keep everything organised and disciplined but it has not turned the hundreds of active supporters of the protests into the thousands that are needed to make a real impact. All it has done is to allow the view that it is a minority of Rovers fans who are actively calling for the removal of Kean and then Venkys.

Its tough to accept but the anti-Glazier masses wearing Yellow and Green didn't change anything. It was the banks who got rid of Gillette and Hicks, not the fans. Meanwhile Ken Bates doesn't give a toss about his opponents in the Leeds fan base. Is there a trend here? In all those cases the clubs continue.

Turn 50% of the fans into those supporting a protest and then I might believe there is a chance, I haven't been converted yet and I guess it would be generous to say 10% have demonstrated in any form. I am thoroughly saddened by the whole situation but I will be at Wigan cheering on the team that I have followed come rain and shine and I know that is something we are all united on.

Given your clear stance here. What would it take for you to "be converted"?

Or as "there are more important things going on in the world", is there no point where you might "be converted"?

This is a genuine question. I think there are a lot of Rovers fans who think like you do and would like to know if you would ever consider joining the protests.

Indeed Tom, and if things don't go well on the pitch on Saturday, I could see things getting ugly in the North Stand.

No---the fans are more angry but not more polarised. More united than ever against Kean/Venkys.

Where's the evidence that the protests are pushing more fans towards the owners and management? Seen the polls on here? Read the comments in the LT?

There are still a few like you who have yet to be convinced but there always is.

What's the media got to do with it? They know little and care little about Rovers. Urging us to support an owner/manager who have us on course for relegation shows us how much they know.

11 games/1 win----all that counts.
