A dog killed my nephew, your avatar offends me so remove it immediately.

You have a good point there.

If nobody could out flowers on graves this week due to the link to Remembrance Sunday, there was a lot of poor taste funerals this week.

I will be speaking with BBC Tomoz who at Ewood so, pretty sure they will cover the supporters side, think the supporters who spoke to Sky did really well, and its the sky presenters in the studio who tried to twist it

isn't their somebody else that could speak to the media on the fans be-halve, somebody more charismatic and less passive aggressive, the club are just dismissing anything organized by glen Mullen.

and before the smart arses start no i wouldn't consider doing it because i am admittedly a div.

Not the same at all. Of course there were flowers at funerals this week. But I can see how some can relate rovers fans 'mock' funeral to recent remembrance day etc.

As usual it is a.matter of opinion.

It is the same, people remembering what was and can not be again. People have as much right to mourn what they see as the death of their club as anyone mourning anything.

What you are doing is subscribing to the spin.

Glen must be really tearing his hair out now with these protests. I'm at the point now where I think only a mass pitch invasion would make them sit up and take note. Not that I believe that's going to happen though, nor am I suggesting it as an option.

I've been saying that all along, it is the only way it will get noticed.

Take a wee break from it Glen mate, if you want a bit of advice from a concerned fellow Rover (concerned about the effect of all this on you and your loved ones, that is)

Steve Pemberton or Lee Mack would be ideal.....

Agreed. Once again the media detracting from the real issue at hand.

Remembrance Sunday? What the hell does that have to do with this? Desperate.

I have a request for those who are going to participate in any further interviews regarding the flowers tomorrow and Friday: Please could you put forward the following points for me (and I suspect many other Rovers fans)?

(I apologise for not participating myself. Unfortunately I am in a job where I cannot ask for time off as and when I want it - sorry, Gav, but those professions do exist. Frankly, I’ll only get time off for personal reasons if an extremely close relative kicks the bucket or if I’m about to lose a limb!)

I am very sorry if the flowers protest has caused offence to any servicemen or relatives of servicemen past and present. It was an unfortunate set of circumstances that lead us, sorry me (I don't pretend to represent everyone with my actions) to want to make some form of protest this week, namely the anniversary of the Venkys’ takeover and the news of the rebuttal of the Qatari bid. It is hugely regrettable to us all that this coincided with the period in which people are still thinking of the brave war dead. However, none of the flowers started to be delivered before Remembrance Sunday, the end of which is usually when people take off their poppies and await the following November for their next major act of remembrance.

Anyone who suggests that the protesters or indeed Rovers fans in general do not respect the immense efforts of our armed forces is massively mistaken. Just remember how warmly the brave soldiers of the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment were applauded before the Chelsea game. I also recall clapping my hands off, as did many Rovers fans, for the soldiers of the same regiment when they got service medals on the pitch two or three years ago.

Many of us also have grandparents who fought with the East Lancs. regiment or other regiments in World War Two and are hugely proud of their sacrifices. Some of us also have ancestors who were part of the Accrington Pals and other local Pals' brigades.

The point I’m trying to make is that this current act of protest is in no way meant to be offensive. You only have to walk around two corners from Uncle Jack’s statue to find the Remembrance Wall, which I hope all Rovers fans feel displays our respect to those who gave their lives so courageously and unselfishly.

I personally would be very grateful if this could be expressed to the media.

Just for the one or two, Glen Mullen has worn his heart on his his sleeve for Rovers, for no reward, simply out of the love of his football club, has put in a tremendous amount of effort, Glen, I applaud you, I will never applaud those silly buggers in Pune who appear to be two butties short of a picnic, we are in choas, we have no leadership both on and off the park and my opinion is that Blackburn Rovers as we knew them, at the moment is dead, hence the flowers are a fitting protest.

Venkys and all of their entorage should hang their heads in shame, Kean should never have a job in football again and in my candid opinion, Anderson has stuffed our football club good and proper!

We need the Doctor Who bloke he's use to dealing with Overlords who are hell bent on destruction .

The Doctor was on Radio 5 a couple of fridays back.It was the show with Colin Murray. He slated Kean for being a bad manager and said he needed sacking.Murray was impressed with his knowledge and passion for the Rovers.

Wayne Hemmingway would surely generate some media interest as well.
