I think some are getting caught up in percentages, speak to most non Rovers fans and they think Kean is delusional, in general, with his comments.

One of the battles we have got is with the notion that Kean is unsackable - again, when people look at it indpendently, most would agree the risk in keeping Kean on as manager is likely to be a fatal one for us. For what it's worth, I think we are more likely to face a season of struggle than relegation under him (I've not been drinking).

The main problem we have got, as it stands, is our owners clearly don't know what they are doing in relation to running a football club. IMO, a lot of the drivel Kean says to the press is relayed to the owners and what do they know.

For them to take notice, something against them and their brand would make them sit up and take notice IMO and that is starting to happen as the messanging has changed from a potentially perceived personal one against Kean.

Also for the comment about making the world take notice, that's a pretty big ask, if marketing was only that easy!!

I have given one reason why I withdrew support for this particular protest.

My view is that this particular way of protest with flowers is wrong, mainly because of how it can be misunderstood and abused. My back was put up when I read on twitter Glenns comment about a wall of shame for those who don't protest. That was the end of my support for the protest. Yes I want new owners and new manager as much as others. I just don't like to read comments that divides supporters, those who protest are true fans, those who do not are on a wall of shame.

I posted the above awhile ago, what I had read on twitter. Since then I have read other comments on here from other protestors having ago at those who are not 'involved' in the protests. Even on Sky some idiot was saying 'they are not true blues'. No idea who that person was. But I thought 'what arogance to say who is a true supporter or not'.

I have constantly said that I understand and share the reasons for the protests. Some people are able to get involved, some are not for all sorts of reasons. But they do not deserve to be hounded by those who are involved. Sadly that is not happening. They are being told they are on walls of shame, not true blues, not supporters etc etc. Even though those who organised the protests have said it is a persons choice if they get involved or not. Well people have made choices and getting abuse for it. That is not on, and totally out of order.

I also have never said "Do not protest" or that I do not support or understand the reasons for the protest. But some protestors chose to turn on supporters who support the same team and share the same concerns. That was wrong. The reasons for the protests also changed, from Kean Out to Venkys out, to improve communication to supporters. Mixed in with deciding who is a true supporter or not.

If folk want to protest - do so, get on with it. But stop having ago at those who are not or don't want to get involved.

In other words, you're all over the place and always have been.

People on here shouldn't speculate about who may have written this banner... It wouldn't surprise me if Glenn did it himself, more publicity for the media whore and he probably still spells his name wrong a la J-Rob

Wtf....seriously. Suspicious post this really, and idiotic.

I might be mistaken but that post reads like you really don't like him.

You've also spelt his name incorrectly.

No.

The biggest vocal protest to date was in the game against Man City. That wasn't planned, and was also despite Magicalmorten and others views about only protesting in games that we can win.

Personally, anyone who has the courage to speak out against this current regime has my backing. However, if and when the crowd turns on Kean or Venky's during a game in big numbers, is when things will become untenable. It might well be too late at that point, but those protests if they come, are going to put far more pressure on Kean than anything else. I've seen it. If we get to the point where massive "Kean out" chants are ringing around the ground, then he'll have nowhere to hide and no way of suggesting it's only 1% against him.

I hope Glen doesn't see this viewpoint as an argument against his own attempts to change things, because it isn't meant to do that.

My thoughts exactly. If kean is as poor as the majority of us think, then we won't get the points at Wigan or Stoke. If the planned protests hold off for a week or 2, he will effectively hang himself. Even the most laid back fans realise he has to win 2 or 3 of the next 4 games and can not afford to lose on Sat.

Suspicious that you clearly don't like him and spell his name exactly the same as the banner. Not that i'm making accusations but that post is bang out of order.

It's not that I don't like him, just that I don't like his ideas. I wouldn't go to the lengths of writing a banner about him, after all I'm part of the anti-protestor brigade

To be fair. I'm sure Glen will have (as have I) gone through life with a significant number of people spelling his name incorrectly consistently (often when the correct spelling is right in front of them). It's hardly a smoking gun.

another new poster who has no idea what goes on, on this board.

so your part of the anti-protester brigade which must surely mean you dont like him

What does it matter about how new a poster I am? Is my opinion any less informed than yours? I'm quite literate, I have a reasonable command of the English language, I know my own mind and how to express my thoughts. Is this an old boys club? Do I need to go before a panel before I can post? Stop being such a snob and accept the fact that my opinion is valid on this forum.

The anti-protestor comment was sarcasm which I appreciate might be difficult for you to understand.
