Dont bring banners as it will upset the players

Don't bring banners because it will upset supporters

Don't Protest before or during games

I quite agree with these statements. Following my meeting with Stuart Caley at the club, I was pleased that they decided not to allow banners to be shown during the game, exactly as I had requested.

It does not matter what Idea's we come up with as a group, some-one will always find an angle to knock it.

In the last couple of months i have heard:

Don't want you to do a march because it goes past my dad's house and it will effect him deeply.

Don't do a March because its too early

Don't do a March because it will effect the players

Don't chant during games as it will effect the players

Don't do sit-ins because you are making us a laughing stock and an embarrassment

Dont bring banners as it will upset the players

Don't bring banners because it will upset supporters

Don't Protest before or during games

Don't trivialise death by laying flowers

Don't leave anti kean or anti Venkys messages

We was not expected to win those games

Get behind the team (Which everyone has I may add)

We are turning the corner and have been unlucky and our one win in eleven is false.

Only protest against if we lose to teams like Wigan

Don't protest at all, accept that Venkys own the team, Kean Manages the team and if they take us down don't worry about it, its only a game

Don't have a go at non-protestors but please accept them to have a go at you

The list goes on and on, I accept certain individuals regardless of Rovers position will always think this way, and they will throw insults looking for a reaction, and then when they get one they jump on their high horse.

You have pretty much shown in the list how much that the whole situation have divided supporters. My point earlier was thinking of way we could bring all the supporters together. At the end of the day the fans are the club. It would be great if everybody was as one and this is ultimatley the hope that I have it could happen. It is a massive time for the club so I think it is time for people to stop having a pop at the protesters and vice versa. This week and saturday should be about the team and how we can get 3 vital points. Defeat on Saturday and well you will not need to organise a protest because people will do it naturally.

Absoulutely, I'm Rovers Til I Die, and ain't going to stand by and take our club fading away lieing down, I don't know what makes others tick, I can only speak for myself, but for everyone who Knocks Simon and I for trying there is someone who is fully behind what we are doing. There is no "I" In team, and everyone who has took part or has supported the reasons for us doing it is all part of the same team. There is no leaders, no-one who makes a final decision, everything we have doen to date is with the majority vote from those taking part.

If people do not wish to take part then thats fine, but don't have a go at us that will continue to fight for what we believe is right. If people want to slate us, then they can't expect to sit back and not react back.

Glen, exactly what are you expecting to happen before the Wigan game Kean leave?, venkys leave?

Name one person on this board that was unhappy with the last two Kean team selections?

Name one person that thought the players were not playing for the manager we so hate?

Name anyone who think that Kean replacing Salgado with Lowe, Petrovic with Pedersen, and Roberts with Yakubu was not a good move?

What chances do you think that many fans after the wigan game will have renewed hope based on how well we have been playing?

I hate Kean as a person, he is slime but if he plays the team he is playing, I think he might get a few wins coming up.

Our life under The Trust was not so great, Venkys will not give Kean forever, Kean taken advantage of them, but pretty sure Jack Walker gave Kidd 13 or 14 games after getting us relegated.

You cannot seriously compare Jack Walker with the Venkys and did Kidd make it as a manager after leaving Ewood park?

Personal insults surely does not help the situation. I always understood that this web site and forum was for democratic views of Blackburn Rovers supporters. You may have your own views about banners on show during the 90 minutes of a game. I have my own views and I was requested to air my comments at a meeting at the ground.

You can pick the best team in the world but if they are not organised and set up correctly it wont work.

I for one was not happy that effectively we had Rochina, Formica, Hoillet and Yakubu (4 players out of 11) who dont neccessarily work back and defend from the front, hence the goals we leak!!

So yes, I was not happy with the team selection for those reasons!

that currently looks like 10 fans have sent flowers.

Maybe after the wigan game Kean will say 99.999% of fans are behind him and the Venkys.

Maybe they have got somebody at the club nicking them every so often to keep the numbers down. :D

Life under the trust OK we had no money but were pretty stable with good people steadying the ship and a proper infrastucture and in no danger of what could happen in the very near future .. what have we now ? A total shambles/complete mess

Granted performances have picked up a bit last few games but still not winning..probably to do with the introduction/influence of Clements more so than the buffoon/slime ball Kean

Also remember we are 4 points off safety , a win at Wigan isnt guaranteed as they'll be fighting for their lives..so defeat and you can see the drivel pouring out of Keans mouth !

12 Months on or (Judge us in 12 months) We are owned by Billionaires who have put no money in bar the purchase price, They have mortgaged just about everything our debts have escalated to levels unimaginable in 12 months, We have won 6 matches in 32 games under the Manager they appointed. We have a board who can't get answers and makes no decisions (There words not mine) We have a Manager who won't report to the board and says "I don't answer to you lot" (Their words not mine) None of the people appointed at Rovers bar the new Finance Director has experience in the roles they are doing. No-one can tell you what their role is, Communication is non-existant. Supporters are taking huge lumps out of each other. We have a Majority shareholder who makes all the decisions but has chose to Visit Blackburn just once in 12 months. We have an Agent who is monopolising our transfers and still remains on the scene.

Above all we have people still making excuses for them and thinking it will all blow over...............

Forgive me for being worried, I can't change the way I am as a person or the way I tackle issues. I have always been a pro-active individual who faces problems head on. Did I ever think I would spend so much precious time on Blackburn Rovers? Time I will never get back, Do I think its worth it?

Absoulutely, I'm Rovers Til I Die, and ain't going to stand by and take our club fading away lieing down, I don't know what makes others tick, I can only speak for myself, but for everyone who Knocks Simon and I for trying there is someone who is fully behind what we are doing. Fair point on this being thought up a while ago, but you have to take on the chin that people may perceive it to be in bad taste.

Anybody who makes excuses and thinks its going to blow over is deluded, however I dont think that the protests have made any difference (neither did the Pune trip). Its not like they haven't already heard the message - its just that they seem incapable of making any decisions. The more that you protest, the more they seem to be digging in, i'm not knocking you, its obvious you wear your heart on your sleeve, but it all appears pointless.

At the Chelsea game, I was shocked to see the amount of people who thought the Plane was a bad idea, and so many who are fervently against any protests at all. However, the majority of people are NOT happy at all about the situation. Those who dont want to get involved in the protests however quite rightly get annoyed at being branded as not "True Fans", or when people who have never been to Ewood suggest season ticket holders boycott the games. Its those comments that make me understand not allowing banners into the ground. It would only take a couple of fans whose view was impeded or who disagreed to kick off and with tensions as they are at the moment, that *could* spread.

When I saw the possibility of a Qatar takeover, there was some hope that this could put us in a position where we could put all this behind us and move on. I can't say I was confident that Venkys would ever sell mind - half of PR part of the Pune trip was showing people that they intend to go nowhere.

Edit - I should have added, that whilst I disagree with it, that Glen and Simon have always conducted themselves above board on this

How many points did the last 4 displays yield? At the end of the day that is all that matters. Presumably you will be happy with Venketash's aim of being ' a little higher ' ? Look at the results over the last 12 months and that will tell you where we are heading under Venky's / Kean. For the record I still dont think he'll be sacked if we lose at Wigan.

Read the rest of his post, it makes sense.

I respect Glenn and his efforts but I think there does need to be a mutual understanding. If people criticise the form of protest that he chooses to organise it doesn't necessarily mean that they're against the motive for protesting in the first place. There is also a fine line as to when a protest may do more harm than good. At what point do you accept that Venky's are just ignoring your protests and all that the marches/sit in protests/fly pasts are achieving is lowering the team morale??

In any case, I still do not fully understand what further protests are attempting to achieve. Kean out?? Well that'll happen dependant on results. As has been mentioned in previous posts, I cannot really fault Kean for his recent team selection or the overall performances of the team so Im not sure that protests have been merited in those fixtures.

Did you expect points against Chelsea and Spurs?? If so then I reckon any Rovers manager would under scrutiny. Playing well and losing against those teams is acceptable. Against Wigan it wont be. That's why I dont think protesting at the Spurs and Chelsea games was really called for. It made people sympathise more for Kean if anything.

Well that says more about the short term nature of the football fan than anything else.

I was protesting about a year of incompletence, but each to their own.
