michaelthomas Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 No.6 is a seriously scary question to consider. Wow.

ABBEY Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 My question is ... Why don't you ;;;;; off!!!! Do you know everybody actually hates you?
brian_gallagher85 Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Nice question I think it's genius as well. I'd love to see an interviewer with the balls to as such a question.
Mattyblue Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 It will be another 5 minutes of 'positive' BS, this kind of thing obviously goes down well in India and in Kean they have a character who will play on it in every inerview he does.
John Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Lie detector for the interview? All we would hear is a constant beep
Kendalrover Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 This is an ideal opportunity for Venkys. Rather than use simple platitudes like 'our baby', 'our fans', 'we are committed to the club' etc they should come out and tell us what they have actually done in the last 12 months. For example 'we have put together a strong management team to lead the business', 'we have an experienced manager with a strong track record; 'we have improved the league position of the team', 'we have the finances in place to ensure the future of the club', 'a healthy transfer budget will be available in January' etc. On second thoughts better stay with the usual platitudes.

The former would certainly go along with the pathological lying that they've been so known for over the last year....
BPF Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 thanks 786 ralfinho if possible can you ask the following questions Now that Venkys have given every indication they are here to stay long term and want the club to be sucessful can we expect a 10M bid for Defoe in January to give us a chance of staying up?
Amo Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 It'll just be Venkatesh on the sofa saying the same soppy crap he came out with last time.
glen9mullan Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 ITV will also be interviewing Kean and Kevin Gallacher too, for their piece to air Thursday and Friday
Mattyblue Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Well Gallacher's been blowing smoke up Kean's arse for months now, so expect plenty of 'Stevie's doing a decent job'
Derby Blue Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 As I don't get Granada where I live will some one post a link after the interview has been showed or know if I would be able to see it on itv player ERIKS666 Rovers Forever Do you have HD? My ITV HD channel shows the Granada regional news for some reason - I presume its the same nationwide. ITV SD shows Central region.
Seggie Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 I think what the fans don't want to hear is 'positive' and sound bites like that. What we want to hear is 'we have got things wrong, we can't change that now but we can sure learn from it going forward.'
John Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Some honesty and commonsense would be a pleasant surprise.
davulsukur Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Some honesty and commonsense would be a pleasant surprise. It would, but how likely are we to get that?
BangkokRover Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Does anyone know at what time this propaganda is on TV?
Blueboy Downunder Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 what time of the day are we to expect these interviews to be aired?? incase it hasn't already been said.
arbitro Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 ITV will also be interviewing Kean and Kevin Gallacher too, for their piece to air Thursday and Friday I don't want to pre-empt anything but the balance doesn't seem right. Venky's, Kean and Gallagher and no (or very little) input from the fans. Expect more of the same then.

I did make this point when I spoke with them earlier and said someone like Simon Garner may have been a finer balance
