sambo Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Heard there's a banner at Ewood today criticising Glen Mullan? Could be Facebook rubbish but would be nice if someone could shed some light on it. Cheers

Rovers_786 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 There is no banner there, I been told by a friend who went down today.
sambo Posted November 17, 2011 Author Posted November 17, 2011 My mate said he saw one driving past. Hopefully you're right though.
Gav Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 My mate said he saw one driving past. Hopefully you're right though. Probably put there by Kean and Agnew
DanLad Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Probably put there by Kean and Agnew If so that is less than 1% of the Premier League managers and press office staff. Glen has the full support of the rest of the Premier League managers and press office staff, presumably.
Ivorsemion Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 There is a banner on the railings on Bolton Road near where the church used to be. I did see the name 'Mullan' on it and i'm sure i saw 'R.I.P.' as i drove past. Just assumed it was in support of the protests though.

PAFELL Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 What is this banner people on about. Any truth in it.
Andy Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 I think there was one that said RIP MULLAN or similar - as a lad on Facebook was in the area and took it down. Pretty disgraceful behaviour, regardless of where you stand on the protests.
perthblue02 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Yes there was, somebody took it down and posted a photo of it on facebook, here's the photo Wonder if the idiot that put it up realises there's alot of cctv round that area Seem's Kean's stirring is beginning to work
Andy Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Let's hope Mr Kean wore something to hide his shiny bald little head then...
donnermeat Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Whether you agree with the protests or not, why would you ever go after your own fans like that? We are all Rovers fans together, no matter what your views are. This s**t is just ridiculous when it gets to that stage.

Gav Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Looks like its been done by a 5yr old, I wouldn't worry.
donnermeat Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Because the club's manager is inciting this kind of behaviour? Not sure if I think that's the cause, but either way is stupid.
ruggles1995 Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Im going to guess this was NOT a rovers fan that done this
Ossydave Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Looks like its been done by a 5yr old, I wouldn't worry. More likely to be a dingle who did it....you're right on the mental age though
pancini Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Because the club's manager is inciting this kind of behaviour? We can blame a lot of things on Kean but this isnt one of them Glen if you do want to do anything about this then the club has CCTV that does overlook the car park where the school used to be so mention to the police if thats what you want to do. If the person who did this banner reads on here grow up you sad pathetic little oik we are all rovers fans all have different views on things but dont sink to this level
Hughesy Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 We are all Rovers fans together, no matter what your views are. True - but clearly not everyone agrees with what he has instigated I know of many who feel the flower thing this week is EMBARASSING, and to be honest I agree. Then you have papers printing his name and saying he is a 'fan leader' - like he speaks for us all, he doesnt! Before anyone jumps on me for this comment too - im not saying its fair that someone makes a banner like that, just that his name is too much in the press for some peoples liking.

Then you have papers printing his name and saying he is a 'fan leader' - like he speaks for us all, he doesnt! In Glen's defence the paper going with that headline was nothing to with Glen and he immediately had it corrected! As for your opinion, indeed many share it and that is all fine However this action is completely below the belt and below anything expected from any form of human being, an absolute disgrace. Regardless of people's views on Glen or the protest this is pure and simple vulgarity Cool banner moronic post of the week........

Then you have papers printing his name and saying he is a 'fan leader' - like he speaks for us all, he doesnt! Surely that is the paper to blame as Glen went to great lengths yesterday to get that 'fan leader' header removed as he strongly disagreed with it.

Tris - Agree again, BUT when you keep putting your name to press releases etc and acting on behalf of fans, its always likely to happen!
