Kean put pen to paper on a contract that will pay him around £25,000-a-week - and he also won his battle to have a clause removed that made him easier to sack.

Blackburn's Indian owners agreed to the small print despite wanting Kean to accept less of a pay-off. It will still cost around £800,000 to sack him.

Blackburns Indian owners are even planning to stay away from future games because of the hostile reception of the fans

I'm being told this was signed a couple of weeks ago and its a typical Niko article from his good friends at Kentaro to stick two fingers up to the supporters. A lot has happened in 2 weeks and this IMO has no baring and should be taken as scare mongering the supporters that their stance at the weekend fell on death ears, when in truth its quite the opposite

So are you saying he still might be sacked?

IMO its trying to test supporters resolve making out he has signed it over the weekend, In hope that we will all crawl into our shells and take our medicine, Reading twitter and facebook many have been hook lined and sunk.

More supporters will just rage their fury on this news

Can't believe what those idiots are thinking of! If they're so keen to pay more in compensation when we finally get relegated, they might as well throw the money into a well back in Pune!

If confirmed ill be selling my season ticket, taking part in Protests then watching in the Havelock each week. Ive had enough now.

I do not believe this ...No why Kean will get a new contract or anything else after last Saturday ..If it is true , there will be serious civil disorder at the Swansea game ....

The police will call the game off ....

Makes no difference to me whether he signed it today or two weeks ago. He's still been given a new contract. I'm absoloutly fuming, I can't put into words how angry I am with this. If I dont get results at work, I get sacked with no pay off, Steve f'ing Kean doesn't get results he gets a payrise, longer deal and a pay off should the inept owners sack him from their plaything.

Glen I genuinely think protests should be centred at Venky's now, they are the problem Steve Kean is a symptom. I genuinely think it's time for them to go. Judge us in a year they said, well this is my judgement:

F OFF Venky's now

It's no wonder Kean was on the pitch at the end of the match on Saturday punching the air - the biggest possible two fingered salute to Rovers fans from both the owners and the manager!!!

Just make sure those that are against kean tell him when you get the chance at then end of 90 mins on saturday at stoke, as he makes the long and lonely walk towards you.

F**k off Kean and F**k off Venkys that's my season ticket in the bin.

Good luck and the only way i'm coming back is if Keans not manager and Venky's give him a job plucking chickens. The owners and manager are a set of hopeless a**eholes who are taking us to the second tear of English football.

They just don't know when to stop, do they? By "they", I mean the despicable, pathetic excuses for human lifeforms that are our owners.

If we're going down, let's take Venky's "good name and reputation" with us. Spread the hate, spread the negativity. They deserve everything we throw at them (or do to their company's reputation) - and worse.

Literally shaking with anger as I type.

As I suspected this has been a done deal.

In the real world I could say that at least the Venkys know the cost of sacking Kean or Kean would be part of the package to be sold on for someone else to sort out.

Sadly we are in a world of insanity.

Its all too much for me.

I'm glad I live abroad so I might just chuck the computer off the balcony instead.

Hatred is too mild a word to describe how I feel about Rovers owners and management.

I would not PI** on them if they were on fire.

I need a real Kean signature on his photo to take to a local temple to get cursed.....off goes a nice letter me thinks

I am being told of a lad, Rovers fan, wife left him and left loads of debts, he's going to declare himself bankrupt tomorrow, he heard about this and says he will post all he knows on facebook and its quite damaging for both Kean and Venkys and he says let them bring a lawsuit against him, will cost them and they will never get a penny back.

How true I dont know but we will see in the next day or so!!

Of all the takeovers, how the feck did we end up with this shower?

Twenty years of proud achievement and the painstaking building of a fantasitc football club, completely destroyed in 12 months.

Heartbreaking to see an institution that has meant the world to you reduced to a corrupt shell.
