So, the only thing we're all going on is Nixon's word in a tabloid??

The same Nixon who tonight admitted that he hasn't got a clue what is going on at the club and the same Nixon that hasn't got anything Rovers-related right for a long time?

I wouldn't start tying the knots in your nooses just yet...

I'm not but it's a sign of just how bad things are that we have no problem in believing our owners would do something that stupid and deliberately calculated to provoke fans. And won't it be just typical that having got nothing right about Rovers for ages, Alan Nixon suddenly gets right the one that nobody wants to hear.

I'm still not believing it yet though - far more likely that it's an Anderson/Agnew 'leak' to take pressure from Kean or to antagonise the situation.

Only Kamy has been spot on with info recently, so if/when he confirms it, I'll believe it.

Could be that its deliberately obtuse, that it could mean anything but, most likely, it means nothing.

Ideal situation now would be for Venky's to approach the Qatar group as a reaction to the experience they had at Wigan on Saturday. We can atleast hope I guess.

Stuff that dreams are made of, but doubt it's going to happen.

Venky's don't do logical or sensible. The only way they'd sell is if it was to a consortium of Rose West, Adam West, John West and their twelve unicorns - or similar.

In other words, unless it's downright batshit insane, it's never going to happen.

This is it for me and Rovers. They have effectively spat in the face of each and every one of us. Arrogant, deceitful illegitimates. I'll always love the club, but they won't get another penny from me or moment of my time while these scumbags are in charge.

The only thing that is keeping me interested in these nutcases is a strange ongoing conflict in my mind that is trying to work out which would be hairier, Bilaji's neck or Madame D's muff?

Unforgivable. After the past couple of months how on earth did we reach this. What planet are these people on? If one act could ever single handedly anger every single member of a football club's fanbase, then this would be it. I could understand giving Kean a chance at the beginning of this season but to give him a new contract, im sorry, REWARD him with a new contract when we're 2nd from bottom in the league, with one win all season...???? Absolute joke. There's naivety and lack of experience and then there's this. Disgusted.

Just to put a twist on this; could they purposely of made it confusing as to whether he has signed or not?

Maybe the new contract has actually increased the amount he gets when he is removed?

I have no idea why they would do this, but then again I have no idea why any sort of contract talks would be going on. Whether he signs or not is irrelevant, why now is a better question.

I guess if he gets sacked within the next few weeks... We know there is more to this fiasco than meets the eye.
