[Archived] Kean seals new Blackburn deal

Recommended Posts

Back of this morning's Lancs Telegraph: "It's A Farce: Rovers silence is deafening over new 2-year deal for Kean'.

That's brave. They'll end up being disconnected from the club. We need the media to try and help us out of this mess. Unfortunatly most of the national media will love it when we inevitably bite the bullet.

Everybody and everything is disconnected in this farce.

Club not sending a representative to a BBC Lancashire programme about the club? That is the ultimate (Please don't use that word again) you to the town, the media and the supporters.

For what it is worth, Kean signed the new contract on Saturday morning.

No wonder he was punching the air. He must feel like he's won the lottery. I'd love bosses like he has. Imagine if he'd actually done a half decent job, he'd be on a 50 year contract now. I'm come to the conclusion that Wanky's are Dingles in disguise. No one can be this bloody bad in business.

The LT could gain a lot of credibility in my eyes if they continued on this current theme and actually represent their readers (the fans) instead of pandering to these useless idiots. I wonder if they would host an opinion poll of some sort on their site now.

The club in its current form doesn't give a damn about its fans why should we give a damn about it!

This explains why Cryer was "speechless" on Twitter on Saturday evening.

Even the most pro-Kean advocates must see the the STUPIDITY of a contract offer BEFORE a run of the best run of matches we will have all season.

The Kean contract news is on the frontpage of BRFCS where it says ''It is unlikely that the news will be well received by supporters who have been calling for Kean’s dismissal for several weeks''

I think that there's a typo error in it. The call for Kean's dismissal has been going on for several MONTHS

You sure? This article in the Independent is a lie then.

Glen on twitter:

Vineeth Rao: I will say that everything is getting sorted out as we speak and that Steve Kean has not signed his contract.

Sorry if its already posted.

Wonder what he means by "everything"....could be positive but could also just mean that they are sorting out his contract

So why is the guy who is Vineeth Rao and who happens to be the same guy who is running the club at the minute sending emails to fans instead of addressing everyone, why isnt he making statements to the LT, the BBC lancs programme last night, the Rovers website denying the rumours.

Believe what you want guys but if he does'nt deny it publicly then it's true.

Why would he turn down a new deal with more money per week at the time he should be getting sacked, nobody in the world would, unless he has massive morals which we know he has'nt.

I am going to cause hell at the Swansea game if he has signed a new deal. This is OUR club and we just can't stand for this ######. It's just one kick in the teeth after another. I don't care if they ban me, i'm going to go out fighting.

RTID

I feel the same myself ...I cannot go Saturday, but the game is on sky ,just before kick off , someone hops over the wall and handcuffs themselves to a post...The game would be held up until cutters are found ...Continious chanting of Kean and Venkys out ,whilst the authorities release the handcuffs....Banned and fined but it would really make a media impact ....

I see this contract news is on the frontpage of brfcs.

Are you any closer to a statement from the club / owners KAMY or is it based on Nickos article ?

I've not done the story on the frontpage, it is though based on Nicko's article.

The whole situation is a farce.

People at the club genuinely don't know if Kean has signed a contract or not, while people in India are denying the story. On this one I don't believe people in Pune, no way would Alan go so big on a story without having some kinda proof.

The whole thing is just a shambles, if you want to give him a new contract then why not just come out and say it, and how the hell can you run a club this way, when it appears the people at Ewood are out of the loop and don't know what the heck is going on because the manager deals direct with the owners and information is not passed down to senior staff at Ewood.

This situation is completely unsustainable.

Vineeth Rao is registered as Vineeth Errabelly at Companies House, I'm assuming we are talking about the same person?

I believe that the Venny Rao quote has come from an e-mail that Rover_786 has been passing around to a few people, this is the same guy who said on Monday that Kean would be sacked by the end of the day, who said yesterday that Mrs D was meeting with the family to sort out the Kean sacking. This is just the latest in a whole load of BS that he has spouted over the last few weeks.

Enough said.

No! I'm just pointing out what he said to a reputable paper. If Philip has evidence in contradiction then Kean is caught out lying (again).

The "man" talks complete ###### on camera on an almost daily basis, what he said to any journo in any paper is irrelevant to me. I wouldn't believe him if he told me personally that he had been sacked! I don't think he knows what the truth is!
