I believe that the Venny Rao quote has come from an e-mail that Rover_786 has been passing around to a few people, this is the same guy who said on Monday that Kean would be sacked by the end of the day, who said yesterday that Mrs D was meeting with the family to sort out the Kean sacking. This is just the latest in a whole load of BS that he has spouted over the last few weeks.

Sure, you can do that. But the hard fact is that nicko's quoted numbers don't make sense, as you can yourself admit by looking at them. I'm not denying a contract has been signed, but obviously if nicko's numbers are to be believed then it IS easier to sack him because it will be about half the amount his previous contract was worth. That's not me believing or assuming or hearing anything, that's just a case of reading the article as it is.

Addressed? It's been obvious for quite some time that the only people running this club are the Raos and Steve Kean.

Everybody pulling in one direction? There's nobody else there Miker.

Kean is to all intents and purposes, running the show. The Raos can't make decisions, so Kean makes the decisions and they seem to follow - why? maybe it's the easy way out for 'em. Maybe it's easier to follow Kean's advice than it is to sort out the way that they are bound by their own mismanagement.

He's the most evil person ever to be part of BRFC.

Interesting business strategy to reward failure.... I am not sure that it will catch on!

Pleasingly for me who never wanted Kean in charge at anytime, this type of news can only help in removing the general apathy displayed by the vast majority of the Rovers support to the Venky's and Kean.

Long gone are the days when our fans knew right from wrong and acted accordingly. Until such time as we show concerted solidarity then nothing will change. I feel sorry for those working hard to help the club, whilst getting little support from the massess.

Little suprises me anymore with the Venky's. Clueless chicken pluckers. Pleasingly the focus is now shifting from the stupid incompetent in charge of the team, to the stupid idots who employed him, support him, reward and keep him.

Kean definitely has to go, he is the primary cause of the breakdown in communication. Venky's are not leaving and can salvage the situation and do good for the club if they actually took appropriate action, so it's a moot point for me at the moment. It could be a PR stunt. The plan could be:

Kean signs a new deal but asks them to keep it quiet until results turn around. When results turn around it's announced and they are hoping the recent improvement in form will reduce the fans backlash/criticism from the media. At the same time he can come out with loads of spin about that he didn't sign a new deal until he proved he earned it and that he understood the fans plus wanted to prove to them he was worth a new deal.

Is the point not it's cheaper to give Kean a new contract than it is to poach a new manager, back room staff and truck load of players?

Kean is the cheap option.

There is no Board worth its name operating at Ewood Park and back in Pune the Owners will have forgotten about us. Kean can just go on his merry way with no controls in place.

There is little point in applying logic to what is happening at Rovers.
