[Archived] Kean seals new Blackburn deal

Recommended Posts

On the new contract which has been signed by the way, the situation gets stranger by the day from what I just heard.....all I will say is Mrs Desai is absolutely key in all this.

I just can’t get my head round the situation we have found ourselves in - might just have to hit the booze aggressively.

I could find out more information but I really don't think I want to.....

Is it just me or does it seems like there has been unusual much activity on rovers.co.uk this week so far? Pretty much just youth-news and reserve-team news.

But no Kean or Venky's-news. Its like they are trying to compensate for all the stuff they dont know/arent allowed to tell...

It just does not add up, they know we hate him so they give him a payrise... they dont extend his contract just a payrise. Im sure he is not struggling to pay his bills on his current wages cos they were proberly alot larger than the average working mans wages. More than likeley earned what we earn in a year within 2 weeks. Just makes no sense.

Soooo... his contract hasn't been extended, but he's been awarded a payrise fooooor...what exactly? Being one of the worst managers in Premier League history? Now that is some going, I admit, but the irony of rewarding him for that is lost on me.

I've done bugger all today Topman, throw me a 50 in the post, I've earned it.

The contract length has NOT BEEN EXTENDED. I think that is significant in itself. Keeping what is in it quiet, may also be significant. It could even say, lose the next match and your out.

He writes his own contracts. Do not be encouraged by reading anything into what's not said. Kean runs Rovers.

The positive note on this is that Kean, again, has been proven a bald faced, quite literally, liar.... how is that positive? Well it means none of us were wrong when we thought he was lying.... again.

Would be suprised if anyone at all with any common sense, believes anything he ever says. I get peed off just seeing his face, let alone listening to his constant whining and bull.

Strangely, I am becoming more and more relaxed about proceedings at the club. I was all for sacking Kean after Wigan away last season, so the last few months have been torrid for me. Clearly, what will be will be with this shower of total incompetents running the show.

I have already decided I will not renew my season tickets (I pay for 5) under Kean and will therefore watch with interest until such time as someone with any interest at all in the club, starts making professional decisions to safeguard our future.

Still, Kean is not willing to open talks until results improve and told ESPNsoccernet: "Yes, there have been discussions about a new contract, but I have told the owners that this is an inappropriate time to conclude any new contract discussions. Instead, the real issue is for me and everyone else to concentrate on the games.

ESPN.

Following recent media speculation Blackburn Rovers FC can confirm a revision to manager Steve Kean's existing contract has been completed.

Official statement.

I'm just speechless. What a way to treat their own fans. What a bunch of t*****s.

It's a bit harsh on garbage comparing it to Steve Kean

I don't to be honest.

If Kean said that he thinks that the world wont end in 2012 I will get very drunk and cry for quite awhile.
