pedebumchin Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Yup, it is clutching at straws. The one constant in Venky's reign of terror has been support for Kean. This new deal is just the icing on the cake. Why would Kean possibly sign a new deal with no extension, and a clause to sack him on the cheap? I'm just resigned to the fact he's here to the bitter end. I guess the question is, what is the end?? Championship? League 1? Administration? Burnley finishing ahead of us in the league or god forbid them actually beating us?

booth Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 From twitter: Martin Blackburn Kean's camp say no pay rise and no extension on contract. Extra cash is bonuses for keeping em up last season - so 'miraculously' #brfc So it's a... "Thanks for not making us look like complete dickheads for appointing you and getting relegated." If that is the reason, and anyone from Venky's is reading this. It was a waste of money, you still look like dickheads and I'd say 95% of anyone who follows the sport or the club would agree. The other 5% are lying.
miqaayil Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 i still have a gut feeling ... its for confidentiality clause + percentage for sale of rovers. All croonies get piece of the cake. i believe they negotiating sale as we speak. i believe its the logical reason.... praying
arbitro Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 From twitter: Martin Blackburn Kean's camp say no pay rise and no extension on contract. Extra cash is bonuses for keeping em up last season - so 'miraculously' #brfc I'm sure I read that as well as paying Sam Allardyce's contract up when he was sacked he would be due a £500k bonus if we stopped up. That was reported at the time as one of his contract clauses. If both stories are true how can we pay two managers a bonus for keeping us up?
RibbleValleyRover Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 NO. I wouldn't trust them to put the cat out. And I don't even have a cat. Sorry Bryan I clicked a minus by mistake. I agree with you completely, you can't believe a word they say and the same can be said about the manager.
Plastic Head Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 They know they have been had by the Raos, Just been watching Sky news, 85% of babies and children in Maharastra are malnurished with a high mortality rate not because food is not available but because the food aid is being stolen and sold as animal feed. The Raos described the Rovers as their baby, GOD HELP US India chose independance and have been reaping the rewards since 1947. Those that aren't here that is.
Kendalrover Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 I haven't been able to post for a few days as I have been so mad and speechless at what is going on. All the non swearing adjectives I can think of have already been used by other posters. The point is you can't trust anything coming out of Ewood Park anyone. Most of what comes out is lies. As I said previously you have lies, damn lies and Venkys. Apparently the contract is reward for keeping us up last year. I was under the impression Kean nearly took us down not kept us up. The one thing I can't really understand is that this contact was signed on the morning of a game were we were 30 seconds from going bottom of the league. No wonder Kean showed an act of defiance to the fans at the end of game.

I have wiped better of my boots after walking across a pig farm.
Backroom DE. Posted November 24, 2011 Backroom Posted November 24, 2011 How on earth these people run an interrnational business is beyond me. This poultry business lark must be p1ss easy, I'm going to have to get involved. If the Raos can do it, anyone can.
Stuart Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 I'm sure I read that as well as paying Sam Allardyce's contract up when he was sacked he would be due a £500k bonus if we stopped up. Having to share his bonus for keeping us up with the imposter? Scandalous!

hesfromburn Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 They dont run in. I would imagine the dad has a decent set up of directors he left making the decisions. Our trio just take the cash, they dont know the first thing on how to run a business. Sack the board then dont replace them! Where is the chairman? It seems kean is the chairmam and anything he cant do he just gets venkys to pay agents to do it for him!
Plastic Head Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 So when Kean said “Yes, there have been discussions about a new contract, but I have told the owners that this is an inappropriate time to conclude any new contract discussions." he was lying again was he? Have I got that right?
sijoco Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 So when Kean said “Yes, there have been discussions about a new contract, but I have told the owners that this is an inappropriate time to conclude any new contract discussions." he was lying again was he? Have I got that right? 100% - the guy lies in court, lies to the press, lies to the fans and obviously lies to the owners who in turn lie to the press and lie to the fans. God help our club.
JAL Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 From twitter: Martin Blackburn Kean's camp say no pay rise and no extension on contract. Extra cash is bonuses for keeping em up last season - so 'miraculously' #brfc So is he saying that SEM/Kentaro are lying barsterds ?
vyeo Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Kean is worse than any politician. And that is saying a lot.
rebelmswar Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Kean is worse than any politician. And that is saying a lot. Far far worse. A politician can be impeached or be voted out.
Kendalrover Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 From twitter: Martin Blackburn Kean's camp say no pay rise and no extension on contract. Extra cash is bonuses for keeping em up last season - so 'miraculously' #brfc This is just more smoke and mirrors. Venkys were caught out by the leak and they came up with a staatement that was even more pathetic than their previous ones. I suppose the more you lie the sooner you run out of things to say. All this is trying to do is defuse the situation from Keans side because of what he said on Monday which turned out to be another lie. They realise the outrage this has caused amongst rovers fans. The more he speaks the more he antagonises rovers fans. I suspect they are worried about the reception he will get at Stoke. You can't hide from the away fans on that ground. A bonus is a one off payment, an increase in your weekly pay is a pay rise. I suspect the contract has been extended as well.
Stonesrick Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 I can't help thinking that the players, especially the more senior ones, play a part in all of this to some extent. How often have players been responsible for getting the manager sacked over the years because of poor performances? If we think back to the Ince era and the Wigan game, it was quite obvious to me that the players had had enough and contributed to his downfall. I can recall usually competent players such as Nelsen and Warnock having a nightmare and Roberts coming on as a sub and playing at right back. I just don't get it? We now have the likes of Nelsen, Pedersen, Roberts and Dunn apparently supporting the manager and the owners. Do they not realise the catastrophe that is unfolding before us or care enough about this once great clubs future? Surely they can't enjoy being rooted to the foot of the table and conceding goals left, right and centre? Even in the 70's and 80's in the lower divisions and without the financial clout, our starting point was a solid keeper and back four, with the likes of Gennoe, Keeley and Faz etc. I know that this may sound unprofessional and some people won't be happy with this idea, but in order for us to get rid of this clown, I think it's time for the players to step up to the plate and save our club from oblivion!
John Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 The sad aspect of this is the cover up and yet more lies – the contract was signed weeks ago and it has been kept quiet like a dirty little secret.
RoyRover Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 The sad aspect of this is the cover up and yet more lies – the contract was signed weeks ago and it has been kept quiet like a dirty little secret. Exactly. They wanted to keep it on the DL, because they knew that the fans would go nuclear if it got out. Their actions yet again show that they know that the majority hate them, despite what they say in public. On a separate note, I read on one of the other threads that Steve Kean is looking to have protesters identified and banned from games? Is this true? Who the hell does he think he is! Rovers fans, who have bought their tickets with their own hard earned cash can do whatever they like at games as long as it's within the law and doesn't risk health and safety. The guy needs to be confronted and put in his place.
roverandout Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 im still keaning angry, i wish the kean what go and kean himself, the lying little kean.

So, we now have Adolf Kean, dictator, imposter, liar and leader of the whole of Blackburn Rovers, who does this little weed really think he is, if he carries on at this rate, someone is going to go for him, perhaps the police who acted very quickly when there was a possible problem with protests, could tell Kean to shut it, try and win a game and stop antagonising Rovers supporters!! Better still, get him as far away from our football club as is humanly possible!!
