AllRoverAsia Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Pub, to see if we can find solace in the bottom of a glass!! Good luck. I spent 40 years looking there.
beerwins Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Accy Stanley, A BRFC boycott supporters group giving money to a club that deserves it. Na i'm just jesting.....The pub is not a bad idea.
Herbie6590 Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 "Vote With Our Wallet" campaign - absolutely NO discretionary expenditure in Ewood - no refreshments, no cup tie tickets, no programmes, no lottery tickets, no shirts, no scarves - NOTHING.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted November 22, 2011 Moderation Lead Posted November 22, 2011 A full scale riot/pitch invasion will probably be the only thing that will get rid of Steve wankstain Kean. So angry about this whole situation, why couldn't they just sell to Qatar and f**k off!!!!!
Kendalrover Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Did anyone else see this quote from Kean in tghe Telegraph on Monday. I would call this a significant change from what he has previously said about the players. “They’re playing for each other and if you want to say they’re playing for me that’s great but they’re playing for each other. That’s the type of characters we’ve got: we’re genuine, we’re really honest with each other and I think that shows in our play." Maybe one or two of the players are starting you speak out. He has lost the fans, if he was to lose the players as well then....
Jeru tha Damaja Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I really don't think there's anything anyone can do now. It's their toy and if they want to break it that's exactly what they'll do.
T.J.Newton Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 "Vote With Our Wallet" campaign - absolutely NO discretionary expenditure in Ewood - no refreshments, no cup tie tickets, no programmes, no lottery tickets, no shirts, no scarves - NOTHING. prob is you you will never get 100% of fans to take part, many the drones that just turn up at matches week in week out out of habit if anything, wont even be aware of it(or anything else going on off the pitch, sadly), and then theres the away fans. drastic action is needed, but like the best things in life I'm sure it will be something spontaneous and out of the blue that tips the balance.
ABBEY Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 thousand quid fine for going on pitch and i aint got that.
Lurid Coat Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Would they pick people to fine at random if, say, 1000 people ran onto the pitch? Or would just the club be fined?Cf. the Wolves pitch invasion last season.
Baz Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Yeah the unlucky one or two they would catch - and they'd get a banning order too - lucky gets! Pre-planned protests arent working, as too many just wont be told what to do. It needs a bit of thinking about IMO.

It seemingly has got to a point where peaceful protests have zero effect on the current situation at the club. Another thing that could be done would be simply for no one to take their seats for the first five minutes of the Swansea game, leaving the home ends completely empty would send a strong message surely.
Jock Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 How about a free-for-all at the refreshment bars. Food fight anyone?
sharpysharps Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 If he's lost any players i'd say Hoilett might be one of them. His body language since after the Norwich game has been pretty poor

roverandout Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 honestly dont know where we go from here, we have tried every possible avenue and its got us nowhere, maybe its time for us all to get our liferafts and leave the sinking ship with hopefully the captain (kean) and its crew (venkys) to go down with it. i feel void of any hope, ideas or optimism, the club has had its heart ripped out and the venkys wont pay for the best surgeon money can buy, knowing them they will get a cheap backstreet doctor nick type (simpsons) to do the job 'hello everybody'. ALL i can say is 'goodbye to my club'.
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 We go down, but let's give kean the worst possible ride whenever in ear shot.
Emge Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Dont know if people agree with me, but I think it may be time to stop thinking about how the protests/chanting is going to affect the game and the players. I mean, in the long run of the season it wont matter anyway because simply with Kean in charge we have no chance!

Agreed, if we haven't got shut of Kean, and/or picked up some wins in the next few games we're as good as relegated. Doesn't matter what the players think, as most will be gone come summer anyway. Give him and the Venkys brand hell for 90 minutes, followed by refusal to renew season tickets at end of year.
