I would advise that if ANYONE sees an over zealous steward acting aggressively or outside of his "rules of engagement", I mean excessive force then make a CITIZENS ARREST for assault. You have the power to detain anyone who is committing a crimninal offence.

For those being concerned about stewards taking banners and t shoirts from them, simly quote article 10 and 11 of the human rights act, the right of expression, of free speech and the right to peaceful protest.

Stewards can ssearch you on entering the ground looking for prohibited articles that can be used as weapons or cause injury. A paper banner wont cause harm or injury neither will a cotton banner. They have no right to ask you to remove clothing from under you jacket, even the cops dont in open public and I very much doubt they are going to be looking for yellow sloganned t shirts.

The main issues for fans is to ensure that you dont break the law, if you do expect to be punished its as simple as that.

I wouldnt condone any pitch invasion whatsoever. I would also say respect the views of fans who dont want to join in but keep it simple protest loud and proud and each do their utmost best to remove this idiot from our club.

the waverers its time you all grew some and joined in with the rest. we love our club, we love our players (almost of them) but we despise Kean and his cohorts.

KEAN OUT

Apologies for posting twice but it might more apt to post it in this thread;

I don't know if this has already been posted but I've just heard from someone who is a steward at Bolton that they are supplying extra stewards for the Rovers game tomorrow.

Good luck with that.

The point you seem to be missing is that Ewood Park is not a public space, it is private property and while there you are an invited guest. Acting the cock, obstructing the stewards and then banging on about the human rights act is a pretty sure-fire way to getting that invitation withdrawn. There is no such thing as a right to free speech or peaceful protest on private property.

Sing and chant on-masse and make the atmosphere as hostile as possible for Kean, yes. Attempting citizen's arrests of stewards? Right-o.

Anyone familiar with 1970s football will know a pitch invasion is the best and most effective way to protest. It has be done en masse, many hundreds running into a thousand or more so the authorities will not be able to cope with the numbers. It works.

Which is the big problem.

10 do it and they get arrested and banned for life.

100 do it and they get cleared off but then banned after cctv evidence.

1000+? Might be enough but you'd have to be bloody brave to do it and hope the others didn't have second thoughts.

Once the crowd as an entity decides it has had enough then there will be some kind of spontaneous reaction. I don't think we will be waiting long to see this.

Whatever the result Kean you are going to get everything you deserve tomorrow...the fans have had enough and the vast MAJORITY want you gone for good.

The bullshyte that spews from your mouth, your utter arrogance to the fans, your cluelsss tactics and general b1oody awful managerial tenure to date....never has a coup de grace been more well deserved and hopefully that will be tomorrow for him!

Are you stupid or is this just an act for today.

I was around in the 70's & early 80's when there were pitch invasions. So were many supporters of other clubs.

If Rovers supporters invade the pitch the opposing supporters will not realise this is a protest. They will instead feel threatened an invade the pitch also. This would result in a mass punch up.

The old days would return to the stadiums up and down the country. Rovers supporters would be hated and targeted by other clubs

Your post is already something you could be arrested for.

I think you're over-thinking this a tad.

I'm not advocating any pitch invasion but give over PAFELL!...the Swansea fans will be well aware of what any pitch invasion and protest will be about.

SK's personal guards, bit like Gadaffi and the if the protestors can get rid of that despot than surely we should be able to get rid of Coco.

What if it is done v bolton. Would they see it as just protestors? It is illegal to invade the pitch. Suggesting it on here could also get this site in trouble.
