[Archived] Next protest

Recommended Posts

If this moron is still in charge for tomorrows game it's gonna spoil what could have been a bumper crowd, 3 points and the whole of blackburn united. I'm singing anti kean anti venkys songs fro 1st minute to last. No MOTD editing. Live tv ewood singing loudly as possible throughout game for the whole world to see just how desperate we are. Mixed in with RTID. Show the passion tomorrow people. Lets get OUR rovers back

If this sorry situation continues into the new year I can see someone somewhere snapping and doing something very stupid and potentially deadly to Kean.......not a nice thing to think as Kean is only human but the longer this goes on the more antagonised and frustrated people will become.

Like somebody said it could get to the point where Kean needs to be told not to attend games on safety gorunds

Stating the obvious here but tomorrow night has to be the biggest effort of a protest we've done yet. I think a lot of us did very well to hold our tongues for most of the WBA game but I for one will be protesting from the minute I enter Ewood Park, I just hope the majority of the crowd will too.

Well said-my sentiments entirely. I ,too , tried to hold to the truce and refrain from anti-kean chants. Some good it did. Tomorrow night that carpet bagging impostor from the North will get both barrels and to hell with the happy clappys and the silent majority in the Riverside Reading Room ( shhh quiet please!).

I am proud to have attended all the protest. If ( pardon my hopeless optimism)we get relegated at least I tried my damnedest to prevent it. 'For evil to flourish, it only requires good men to do nothing.' Well Idid something. Many thanks to GM and co for giving me the chance.

And I should think so to. Salgado isn't worth any further contracts....one of the only things they have got right.

Anyway....Is this pointless meeting Kean still happening ?

Don't you realise it means they have no money to sack Kean. Let alone pay.for another manager. Salgado.is a minor issue.

Unless venkys give £10th mill to the bank. Wages etc.may not get paid. Administration being the.end result.

If Kean is still in charge when this becomes an issue then administration may well be a blessing in disguise.

We will go down under Kean anyway, at least if the bank recalls its loans & place the club in admin there will be hope - yes we will get a points deduction (thus be relegated), but we will have a chance of revival next season with new owners.

The major issue with this situation is that any possible new owners will have to have the clubs interests at heart, or we could be passed from pillar to post ala Portsmouth.

Do you know who the Pompey manager is, Abs? (without Googling - or even after Googling!). I think we are already there.

To end up worse than Pompey is going to be quite a fall. Not looking forward to it...

Its a real shame coco doesn't have to walk past the BBE to get to the Rovers bench - if he did have to, we could really put those mince pies to good use

Quote from Mrs D in her ivory tower:

'Let them eat cake, oh ok then, mince pies....'

Reading comments under online articles, it's amazing the amount of posts saying

'Blackburn fans still think it's 95- where do they think they should be?', 'he is a decent man, hope he gets a job where the fans appreciate the footy he has them playing'.

Two comments:

1. You're just now figuring that out? [Just kidding]

2. There is a large difference between the profits Beckham can generate as compared to Salgado (as much as I like Salgado and have purchased his shirt).

I'm still not convinced that Venkys are billionaires or actually have ready cash. Squabbling over whether one honors its 10 million pound contractual term does not inspire confidence.
