[Archived] Next protest

Recommended Posts

Just for once I hope Ewood is in a positive mood tomorrow with no protests. That is because I feel we need to think about some of the following:

We desperately need the points

Like it or not we are going into the game on the back of a couple of good results

Several players have commented that the atmosphere is not helping their performances

Kean is not going to be sacked by the owners

The players are certainly trying for the club and the management

Maybe, just maybe, we can get another win against Stoke and maybe, just maybe positive support from the fans can be part of that.

Very good post.

Frustration is understandable, but logical reasoning has to prevail if we want to improve our chances of survival. If people don't want us to survive then they might as well disassociate themselves with the club as it doesn't appear to be going back to the way it was in recent times.

It's like going round and round in circles. Kean won't be sacked. He's come out of this Xmas period smelling like a bed of roses.

I can't stand him, especially after his press conference after the Bolton game and his reaction to Jim White describing Rovers fans as 'idiots' on SkySportsNews.

Kean OUT. Venkys OUT.

But Rovers fans are idiots, generally speaking. This board being the hub of a great deal of them.

Braddock. What happened against Bolton was that people finally saw through all of the PR, rumours and general media intrusion and realised that the club is beng stripped of its cash and its soul and heading on a one way ticket to the Championship. Despite all of the talk of the previous weeks, the performances at Sunderland, against West Brom and Bolton had been inept beyond words and the fans realised that it ultimately wasnt down to an injury crisis or lady luck. The majority of fans, many of respectable social standing and of logical approach, turned against Venkys and Kean. Unfortunately as ever, only Kean was there to vent the frustration at - no board members of any power and certainly no Raos. The 12 months of lies, deceit and broken promises had finally been rumbled and what you saw and heard was the people of Blackburn and it's supporters saying 'enough'.

The Old Trafford win may quell the unrest but the root cause still lingers. A small number will protest tomorrow. A large portion of the numbers that voiced their opinion against Bolton will be quieter. However it will only take one more abject performance for the anger and frustration at the lies and mismanagement to be heard once more. In the short term there is nothing that journalists, sky sports, Venkys or the 'see-no-evil' brigade like yourself can do to stop this.

I'm 'see-no-evil'?

I'm simply looking at the clubs best chance of survival and its future. When you look at what can actually be influenced by the fans at this club it's the protest sympathisers who are doing the damage, more so than the see-no-evilers (who I don't believe exist).

Lets hope for plenty more, as it means we must have won a game, troll away boys! :tu:

Not really, just thought I'd agree with him because he's talking sense.

You and topman have fun though.

Then, by all means, feel free to start your own forum, after all I can understand you not wanting to lower yourself and sticking around on here. Missing you already.

What's with your avatar by the way? And you have the temerity to brand most Rovers fans idiots?

(and there's me making a pigs ear of it and posting in the bread knifes name. I'm an idiot! )

My avatar is the equivalent to rattling the cages at a zoo. A cheap laugh I know, but when we are so low down in the league I have to entertain myself some way, and I've decided to choose a way that won't hinder the club.

As I said, peculiar.

Well that's just fantastic. Well done!

Sense = Anything against popular opinion.

That's how it works in your mind, trollster.

Not really no.

Fans = not helping things i.e. atmosphere in stadium.

Kean = not good enough to push us forward. Not the anti-Christ though.

Venkys = real problem.

Clever Braddock keeps on telling us how it should be. I don't think you'd be too cocky if you went to the BRFCS dinner would you flower? Come and meet the numpties face to face if you like. Just saying.

Why? I'll be as honest on my views as I always am when I am asked or discuss it with friends and numpties alike providing I am sharing them with reasoned individuals who intend to debate in a normal way. If, however, my safety was in question then no, I would not be so forthcoming about my views. It would all depend on what kind of an atmosphere it was. If you are revelling because you believe I'd likely meet something other than intellectual debate then fair enough, but I fear your priorities are somewhat primal, sinister and misguided.

Seems like you're a "master debator" then eh?

On a serious note i hope you don't talk like that to birds cos you will never get laid. Good luck Steve Carrell!

There's been no reason for me to be here recently.

The swing voters couldn't see the light and it was pointless depressing myself further by banging my head against the walls of this forum.

Now however, since some of the fools will be buoyed by a few good results, when they scan over a few sentences of logic it might actually have an impact on them which could be positive for the atmosphere at the club.
