Waggy76 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 The next protest should be a total boycott .. It doesn't matter anymore we are doomed .. Venkys and Kean have to go , if the gate is 8,000 or so (some wont boycott and away fans ) that will speak volumes ...

MarkBRFC71 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Speak for yourself cos I did..... as soon as I saw that greasy bloody pony tail! The welter of frothy enthusiasm and wide eyed expectation that poured down on them from the stands that day completely passed me by. Had em down as dollopers from the start, I couldn't bring myself up out of the concourse to applaud em when they were introduced. You can put the accuracy of my judgement down to a combination of intuition, experience and instinct if you like. Would that be the same intuition, experience and instinct that had you writing off Mark Hughes before he'd even set foot in Ewood? Think we'll put it down to a combination of luck, guesswork and xenophobia thanks.

MarkBRFC71 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Nothing will change. If he isn't gone after today, we've just got to accept he's going nowhere. I fully expect him to be leading our charge to 16th in next year's Championship.
Amo Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Totally agree, enough is enough. Until the next win. Then all the knee-jerkers will be back in full swing and Kean will have a few more votes on here.
jim mk2 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Silent protests and boycotts are a waste of time. The solution is in the hands of the angry youth - if they care enough.
BuckyRover Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Until the next win. Then all the knee-jerkers will be back in full swing and Kean will have a few more votes on here. I think those supporting him are just being pragmatic. He isn't going anywhere so the least worst option is that he actually becomes a good football manager.
Amo Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Silent protests and boycotts are a waste of time. The solution is in the hands of the angry youth - if they care enough. In a week where 73 people were killed during a pitch invasion, you come out with crap like this. You sad, sad man.
Elvis McSmithy Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 things are going to get very very ugly now i imagine, 1 more loss this month and we are down full stop i think, glad im not a season ticket holder or regular goer, dont want anything to do with whats going on at rovers on either side(just feel sorry for the players), just hope somthing good does eventually come of all this chaos.
jim mk2 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 In a week where 73 people were killed during a pitch invasion, you come out with crap like this. You sad, sad man. Comparing a democratic revolutionary protest movement in Egypt with Ewood Park ... are you insane ?
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 dont want anything to do with whats going on at rovers on either side(just feel sorry for the players), just hope somthing good does eventually come of all this chaos. You feel sorry for the players? WTF about the suffering fans seeing their club ripped to pieces?...even the players must take some blame for the abject performances surely!
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted February 4, 2012 Moderation Lead Posted February 4, 2012 things are going to get very very ugly now i imagine, 1 more loss this month and we are down full stop i think, glad im not a season ticket holder or regular goer, dont want anything to do with whats going on at rovers on either side(just feel sorry for the players), just hope somthing good does eventually come of all this chaos. The players have big salaries and most of them will get new clubs in the summer and not even be here come August...
Amo Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 Comparing a democratic revolutionary protest movement in Egypt with Ewood Park ... are you insane ? No, but encouraging the "angry youth" to spill onto the pitch, certainly is.
JAL Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 With the exception of Birdy and Pittard who've rarely missed a game, think a total boycott for the next game and the games after that should be a strong possibility.
Elvis McSmithy Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 You feel sorry for the players? WTF about the suffering fans seeing their club ripped to pieces?...even the players must take some blame for the abject performances surely! by feeling sorry for them i dont mean im going to shed a tear!!!, just seems they are stuck between a rock and an hard place. brfc will always be, just seems the good years are behind us for now(at least we have had some very good years).
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 If the players had performed to their (questionable) capabilities perhaps performances like today's shambles would not have happened?....I dont feel sorry for the players one bit, they are paid a kings ransom to perform for 90 minutes of kicking a ruddy plastic football. Ever feel you've been cheated?......

Ever feel you've been cheated?...... No ! because we've got some rubbish players. Its your expectations that are way beyond the capabilities of what some of the current Rovers players are capable of achieving in a premier league football match.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 I totally agree with you that this side is rubbish and when the rest of the club is a complete shambles its one hell of a recipe for utter disaster!
thenodrog Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 In a week where 73 people were killed during a pitch invasion, you come out with crap like this. You sad, sad man. Thats out of order, there is no comparison. That was not a pitch invasion that was a planned act of political violence. Topman you shouldn't really need to be told not to use the events in Egypt as an example. With the exception of Birdy and Pittard who've rarely missed a game, think a total boycott for the next game and the games after that should be a strong possibility. Birdy might be banned surely if the closed circuit security monitors are up to their job? JP'll be a touch lonely.
thenodrog Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 MY BOYCOTT STARTS AGAINST QPR Very good but what kept you?
Paul Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 NO MORE PROTESTS. If BRAG attempt another protest anywhere near the ground on a matchday it will show their true colours. The point has been made and it has made no difference, no impact where it matters. This needs to stop now if we are to have the slightest chance of survival next Saturday is crucial. BRAG have lost the battle. We gave to concentrate on winning on the pitch. NO MORE PROTEST
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 The fans will protest if they feel fit Paul..many fear this shambls is lost on all fronts.
