glen9mullan Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Ok everyone we are asking everyone to purchase these T-Shirts to be worn not just at matches but to be worn everywhere, we can even add them to the photoshop thread too. A sea of Yellow at every game visually showing our frustration There is a shop doing these but for those with ebay here is the link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170735069181&fb_source=message#ht_999wt_1185

glen9mullan Posted November 23, 2011 Author Posted November 23, 2011 Why yellow? Because it stands out more
robbojohnno Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Yellow and black untill Kean gets the sack.
pick32 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Make alot more sense if you sold the T-shirt form the brfcs shop so they get funding and people get the t-shirts. Also I wouldn't have used the same colour scheme as one of our kits.
Seggie Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Fair enough, was wondering if it was meant to signify something. Would be quite amusing if the club tried to ban the shirts. I still want to buy a replica shirt with Kean Out on the back.
3rdpillar Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 the yellow kit is so crap, hardly any been bought, and not many worn on match days.
chris Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 would be smart to put red and blue as an option. not a fan of yellow
ruggles1995 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Whats best fit. Im about 6ft Large or XL got a 38inch waist so a bit of a belly but not massive Is the XL going to be too big? Need to know which size to buy.
paullarrygher Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 would be smart to put red and blue as an option. not a fan of yellow Notoriously hard to read red text on blue or vice versa though which would be the problem with that.

chris Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Notoriously hard to read red text on blue or vice versa though which would be the problem with that. no I mean white text on blue or red te-shirt. My fav colour is red, I don't own something yellow, not many people can pull off yellow

glen9mullan Posted November 23, 2011 Author Posted November 23, 2011 Could you sort out postage to the USA if I stick a bit more cash in Glen? I dnt run the ebay account, but i'm sure he can sort that for usa delivery

A sea of Yellow at every game visually showing our frustration You reckon we could convince the people with the stall outside Ewood to buy some of these? Would be awesome to get them selling on places other than ebay. Very difficult to pull off though this one, I don't know if you'l sell enough to generate media attention. I think the scarves idea is a better suggestion, It appeals to more of an age range, even elderly people will wear yellow scarves and what not. Astonishing how the anti-glazer scarves caught on like they did. Anyone got any ideas how they marketed it?

They set-up a supporters trust Trust and that started selling the scarves, that's how I understand it anyway.
copie Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Any chance more sizes could be made available - smaller ones and even kids ones perhaps?
davulsukur Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Plus with the cold weather coming up, people might have them on but they would be under a jacket anyway.
Jimmy612 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 They set-up a supporters trust Trust and that started selling the scarves, that's how I understand it anyway. My fear is that we do something like this, and not enough scarves are bought and then it doesn't have the right effect. So many United fans bought those scarves it was unbelievable, hopefully we could get a similar type of reaction from our fans. I'l buy one as soon as they are on sale. Its all about making them cool if you like. The Glazer ones were considered the thing to have, and similar happened with Mancinis scarf, people went mad for them. Do we even need writing on them? just a knowledge of what the scarves indicate.

The size of the Utd protest was enough to make a point, the risk with anything Rovers fans do is that it's done in such small numbers it can be easily spun by Agnew and the crew to counter the argument. Tough one to work out what will work best.
BlueWhiteDynamite Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 The reason the United Scarf craze took off was due to the number of Tourist fans that visit Old trafford. I'm sure if you compare the average supporters spend on merchandise between the two sets of fans, this is the noticable difference. Really hope the T shirt protest takes off.
