Glen/Simon; get onto your t shirt designer, and him how much to print "Venkys Out" on one of those. Spend all the protests funds on scarves, ask people to donate, then sell the scarves outside Ewood.

The T-shirt designer is independent and its non-profit to the funds, they are made to order and he prices them accodingly for his business.

Scarfs is also something we want to do, and we have delegated that to others to try and sort, Selling outside Ewood would require a license I think.

I'm not getting too involved with T-Shirts or Scarfs, Simon and some others are taking the lead with these and Simon is the best person to contact regarding this, uless others wish to organise it with Simon.

Quite a lot of T-shirts have already been purchased and we need to try and get lots of supporters to either get a t-shirt from one of the suppliers already posted, or have their own made. Also supporters to get the Yellow and Black scarfs from any supplier they wish until Simon sources the best supplier to get them made at the cheapest possible price for supporters. Its also important that they are easily accessible for purchase either in person, or by click and buy

On the issue of scarves, l'm trying to source some from a local company but the guy l know is not around until next week. On top of that the turn around could well be over a week and we also need to take into account the price.

Please don't hang back on buying one of the standard yellow and black one's for now until we have more details on the Venky's Out/100% Rovers ones. At a fiver l'll be buying one myself :rover:

Got my self a scarf.

I think Simon and Glen are doing an awesome job. However , as the movement gets bigger do you think its worth formalising things such as having a committee with elected members on it?

Obviously I think Simon and Glen should be on it, but it may ease the work load and it gives the movement legitimacy if it has membership etc. Just a thought...

Update on T-Shirts,

Suppliers said a few hundred have been purchased to date, Please support your right to freedom of speech, get the Yellow T-shirt, the more people who have them the less likely it is to have them removed.

We have brought this issue up with the Police and the Police have said they will be opposing any idea to stop people wearing T-shirts, They do not agree with this stance and it will be their recommendation that the club does not try and impose a ban on T-shirts

I dont think you need to get scarves with writing on, just the black and yellow bar ones will do.

Just got a few things to put in place regarding bulk ordering but we have sourced a supplier for the Venkys Out/100% Rovers scarves and they work out cheaper than just the plain yellow and black ones (with delivery).

As l said earlier in the thread tho if you're thinking of getting a plain one please do as the turnaraound is about 3-4 weeks for the printed ones, we've still gotta figure out how we're going to pay for them too.

I would advise anyone who has not yet got a T-Shirt from Gift Print for the Swansea game, and wants one delivering to order it today to ensure its with you by Saturday, alternatively you can pop into Gift print and get one in person in accrington. I'm pretty sure other shops will do them for you if you get a yellow T-shirt or if you want a blacnk T-shirt thats yellow that would be fine too,

We are struggling for someone to sell them on the day as it would require someone with a traders license to do so, and someone would also have to buy in bulk in the hope they sell them all.

Yellow is the colour if you want Kean and Venkys out.

Quite a few scarfs have also been purchased and these are available from many suppliers if you wish to source your own, and Sijico is also in the process of getting us a reputable supplier for getting a bulk order.

are any of the usual scarf / badge / tshirt sellers around the ground on here or does anyone know them? will they be selling the black and yellow scarves and tshirts on matchday against Swansea? i would buy one from around the ground on saturday and i think they would make a tidy sum for themselves on saturday. es[ecially as kean has now said we FORFEITED THE GAME!

Just an idea......

Yellow & black balloons would be a cheap & easy way to protest if you cannot locate a t-shirt or scarf in time. It would make a good visual impact too, hundreds of yellow balloons bobbing around the stadium :tu:
