Recommended Posts

I'm just about ready to explode.

Venky's won't sack him, so will he resign? At which point will things get so bad that it's intolerable for him? Will he stay for a whole season?

I wonder if we're still only just off-course for 10th?

All this stuff about fans backing them at 0-0 in the hope of winning is a red herring. I doubt very much we would've got anything today however the fans behaved. We are an absolute shambles, and our only hope seemingly is making life intolerable for Steve Kean. if he doesn't go we're doomed.

absolute dire and I'm very pleased I dont have to pay to watch this crap anymore. the first half completely bypassed the whole team.

getting sick of commented on games now as it seems to be the same old every week. basic errors on the pitch, unable to keep the ball for longer than 10 seconds, poor final ball.

I'll add my two-penneth - though many may disagree.

1. Thought I was watching Sky TV - not Stoke TV ! Got sick of them lambasting Nzonzi at every opportunity - but failing to pick up on the repeated "professional" fouls by Stoke designed to break up our play (good tactics on their part). The summing up was laughable - "Stoke enjoy a thoroughly deserved win" - and then the stats show we had more shots on and off target and more possession - totally laughable.

2. Overall we looked the better team for large parts - definitely the only one trying to play football - but ultimately the team that scores most deserves to win.

3. This is no longer about Kean - we didn't do too bad today, and with a little luck would have got at least a point. However - it is obvious we need a change of manager and tactics - if only to galvanise the players. At the moment we are going down - and the only thing that could stop that is a change of manager and some funds in the January transfer window. We saw it under Harford and again under Kidd - ok performances but no points add up to relegation unless the owners do something.

you seriously believe we were the better team. i bet half of those shots were after we were 3-0 down. we deserved nothing.

The manager is a clueless no-mark, a rank amateur bereft of the abilities and qualities required to be successful in his post. His continued presence at the club is purest and ugliest indictment of this disastrous Venky's project.

I feel no little envy when I look at Stoke. It's a club unlikely to win prizes or plaudits for aesthetics but it is a serious footballing institution with owners willing to invest where necessary and allow the football people to get on with that side of things. They've come up from Championship relatively recently and set about staying there.

Complete and utter dog sh*t from start to finish. Defensively we are just awful. Their 3rd goal in particular is a sure sign of this. Robbo had no chance with any of the goals. Jason Lowe is a big improvement on Salgado. I thought that N'Zonzi had a good game. Rochina showed glimpses and scored a good goal. Yakubu had some good touches and held the ball up well at time. Pedersen was utterly useless. He continually gave the ball away and just looked totally crap. Hoillet was uninterested from start to finish and should have been taken off. Formica showed a few nice touches, but misses an absolute sitter. He's the type of player who would look really good in a time that is riding high, but with us he's a luxury that we can't afford.

Kean said that we thought that played well and that we had a lot of shots on target - as if that's a positive when you've been stuffed like we have. Formica missed a chance, Rochina scored and had another saved. We created NOTHING apart from that. He says that we aren't getting what our play deserves. Our football is totally superficial. It may look good for a couple of minutes, but it's just light weight and ineffective. He hides behind the idea that the team are trying to play a new type of football. We'll this 'new' football is going to get us relegated.

The coward couldn't even look at the fans as he walked off. He knows. He knows.

Well, I dunno. If we do get relegated........what will those supporters say? My contribution to the fight was to throw a garbage bag on to the field at the Britannia?

And what will your contribution be?

The fans who turn up at home and away matches, spending hard earned money, and then finding themselves being treated like dirt by the club they've supported for years have every right to protest at the shambles which is now Blackburn Rovers.

They are what we used to be (with more money behind them though). A solid Premiership team, that can compete at this level, are well run, have a good manager, good owners and people who know how to run a football club. We are the complete opposite of this now.

Nothing positive to say mate - just like I said, you dont protest against your team at 0-0.

Fair enough the manager is shocking, EVERYONE knows that - but you still try to push your team over the line. At 2 or 3-0 then clearly its game over, so let the fans go nuts.....but not when you may still have a chance.

Im just saying try and support the players when we have a chance. Would you want to play as a player infront of our current fans at games? I wouldnt!

There is no point supporting the team anymore. The surrounding issues mean we are no longer a football club.

Would you want to play in the Championship, you'll find that out when they all scramble for a new club in January.

If you're so desparate to support them maybe you should have gone. Just a thought.

I think the team selection was too aggressive today, i think this lineup at home we might stand a chance. However with stoke away, i would have dropped formica and rochina and swapped them with petrovic/henley and pushed lowe to midfield....

Yes they have - but they have to live with the consequences of their actions.

what consequences. you are getting me even more wound up.

i havnt protested up till yet as its not something i have ever done as its not usually something ive wanted to do but this has changed. next game i will probably be vocal and i know this wont go down well with some fans who sit near me and it may lead to blows as they believe only their opinion counts.

we cant sit by any longer. something has to be done. fans are losing touch with their club and this is having a massaive effect on the community which you wont see.

so dont spout we will have to live with our consequences when you cant see the effect its having on people. even a massive company in WEC are voicing there concerns and the effect its having on their business.

Chaps

My protest starts next week and it is quite simple.

I AM NOT GOING. SIMPLE AS THAT.

A SEASON TICKET HOLDER FOR OVER 20 YEARS, I HAVE HAD ENOUGH.

feel the same mate. this is my 20th season as a st holder and im saying i wont go. ive always used the phrase that hate is a strong word and should be used very little but that is exactly how i feel about rovers these days

We deserved nothing because they scored more than us. Reality is they scored from their first attempt at goal (excellent delivery from the free kick which would have undone most teams) - Formica should have made it 1-1 - and their second goal was unlucky to say the least. They had the rub of the green we didn't - in reality it was a poor match between two poor teams.

I think you are harsh on the team - there was some good play at times - but undone by our inability to defend. The only thing Sky said that was right - these days we need to score at least two to have even a chance of winning a match, as you know there is no chance of keeping a clean sheet.

Some ugly scenes at the end though, at that was just Birdy missus.

Birdys missus is a right stunner, what was she up to, pro-Kean or anti-Kean?

what consequences. you are getting me even more wound up.

You want to tell the Telegraph, and publicise your disgust.

the only way we could win a match is by scoring 4. weve scored 3 a few times now and not won. the only game we have won this season we had to score 4 and 2 of them were scored for us.

i dont think i am being harsh at all. we also hadnt had a shot up to their goal. there is nothing harsh in saying that we deserved nothing and we got nothing!
