tonyoz Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Do you honestly, swear on your families life, believe that if nobody protested and everyone cheered the team on for 90 minutes, results would be better? Do I believe that the fans supporting the team for 90 minutes makes a difference? - absolutely. If not, what's the point?

Backroom DE. Posted November 26, 2011 Backroom Posted November 26, 2011 Wigan 2-1 Sunderland. Bottom of the table with no hope. "No lower", isn't that what you said Mr Rao?
Audax Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 zzz, and on top of all this, looks like Wigan may pull the win over Sunderland...
dwayne cage Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 we are bottom. wigan have won Had to happen pal we couldn't rely on everybody lose all the time. Shame what has our club become?
Kamy100 Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Bottom of the league and now I expect Sunderland to sack Bruce as fans totally turned against him today.
broadsword Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Do I believe that the fans supporting the team for 90 minutes makes a difference? - absolutely. If not, what's the point? We're so poor that it wouldn't make a difference. There were no protests at the start of the season and results were no better then. Until Steve Kean goes we are in a -90 degree trajectory, we have to get him out for the long-term good of the club. We need to see the big picture. Shouting your head off to support the team wouldn't make any difference when the club is an utter shambles on and off teh pitch. It's very simple, wake up!
Mattyblue Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 My humble suggestion - Out-shout the opposition fans every game no matter what. As opposed to: "Kean out" because Dunn has been a total tit and got himself sent off for another pointless foul. "Kean out" because Stoke scored a goal from a great free-kick delivery. From the sun of Queensland things might not look too bad, 'get behind the lads, the luck will turn'. No it won't, the fans have been repeatedly smacked in the chops by everyone to do with BRFC for 12 months and they have snapped. They have EVERY right to chant against the 'manager' and owners. No other club's fans would be any different if they had witnessed 6 wins in 12 months. The lads and lasses down there today are the core of our fanbase, most of them I've seen everywhere watching Blackburn Rovers and they are disgusted with what's hapenned to a club they were so proud of. You have no right to question them or their motives.
BuckyRover Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Have they even got a website? I will destroy it. DoS
booth Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Do I believe that the fans supporting the team for 90 minutes makes a difference? - absolutely. If not, what's the point? Of course it makes a difference under normal circumstances, but at the moment we have a club without a chairman, without a proper manager and a threadbare squad. We're going to have no investment in the team, and we have people who are totally out of their depth who own the club. What will it take for you to see what's going on in front of you? You can shout all your bleeding well want along with everyone else, it will not make a blind bit of difference.

Audax Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 On other league matches, NO, I don't think Bruce will be sacked. I know that a lot of people want that. Drew Fulham, Lost to MUFC at OT 1-0, Sunderland 2-2 Aston Villa, Bolton 0-2 Sunderland. Don't see it happen, these are there last several games.
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Surely bottom of the league is enough to get Kean sacked ? We are very lucky, given our run of results - at the moment it isn't beyond repair if we get in the right manager and give him funds in January.
broadsword Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Never mind how far we are from safety, we're now at risk of being cut off from the rest of the bottom 3. I can't see us beating Swansea next week, on the same weekend, Wolves are at home to Sunderland. You would imagine they'd win there. I just feel sick to my stomach at this situation. I don't care what it takes, a triple relegation i would accept if it got rid of Anderson, Venky's and Kean.
sam_rovers Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/15905086.stm? the genius himself.. what a ###### liar
Steve Moss Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 In my opinion: Kean is a clueless, malicious BS artist. The owners are the true problem, however, as owners with brains and/or spine would have seen through his act and sacked him long ago. Why Venkys haven't acted lends credence to the various conspiracy theories I've read out there. I don't know which, if any, are true, but I'd think that giving a raise to a manager with a 18% or so win percentage would have provoked some sort of investigation. It reeks of a problem beyond simple bad business decisions. If I were Jack Straw or the chief of the Blackburn constabulary or someone of similar power, I'd certainly be assigning an investigator or two to the case. If this trend continues, it will be a body blow to the town of Blackburn economically. And from my brief visit, you guys can't stand too many body blows economically speaking. But a lack of spine and/or brain and/or honesty appears to be a recurring problem amongst the leadership class. No one with the power will act, so I believe we'll be relegated.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted November 26, 2011 Moderation Lead Posted November 26, 2011 Appalling, again, same sh1t different day. Not long until we really are cut adrift. And Tonyoz, you're sounding as bad as Steve Kean with your comments, even if you do mean well.
dwayne cage Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Rock bottom of the league with about 3 players looking like they wanted to play for us today. Venky's time for Steve to leave!

If fans really wanted to get rid of him - it's easy. Nobody turn up next match. Even Venkys would see the light then. Of course we won't do that because we care and we want to do our bit. The trouble is - we are caught between two stools. We don't want to hurt the team and we don't want to support Kean/Venkys. It's this muddle that will take us down. If you want to make a difference, stand up and roar when the buggers walk on to the field against Swansea.
tomphil Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Do I believe that the fans supporting the team for 90 minutes makes a difference? - absolutely. If not, what's the point? Great, another one from the other side of the world telling people how to support the team There was 4000 at wigan, we scored early the fans were behind the team no mistaking that. The team then capitulated as it often does all on its own, then the fans started getting angry. As has been said before the band of fans at stoke are mostly THE hardcore away support who put the effort and money supporting the team all over week in week out. If the want to spew bile from 1st min to last, which they didn't i might add, then they have more than earned the right and they are doing it because they see week in week out at close hand what is wrong with the team and manager etc. now im out of breath.
Audax Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 FSN, Fox Soccer Network's Warren Barton said this is probably it for Kean, it's got to be, that game was too one-sided. They are talking about it now.
Mattyblue Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/15905086.stm? the genius himself.. what a ###### liar If he doesn't think he needs to change anything apart from some vague guff about trying to 'close the back door' and he still thinks 'we arent getting what we deserve' than nothing can possibly change. We are getting EXACTLY what we deserve because we cannot defend or compete in midfield. It is fecking obvious and an insult to anyone that has ever watched or played football that he can keep spouting the same nonsense every week. Arghhhhhh
tonyoz Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 You have no right to question them or their motives. It's just my opinion of course. I think that I have every right to express that no matter where I live???
perthblue02 Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Any truth in the rumours people were ordered to take off/ cover up the protest t-shirts at the request of the FA / Sky TV?
