Hi Bryan. I admit, it's crap. I don't know if it will make a difference but I can't see an alternative. I think we have to show the faith. Showering the team with negativity from the terraces week after week just seems so depressingly pointless.

The 'team' has received nothing but encouragement, that is why I've got irate by your posts.

NO fans of any club would let the likes of Kean a free pass each week, he deserves everything he gets.

A question that has been glaringly obvious all season...... especially given the impact that the two Jones made last spring! The two most influential players in our despearte relegation scrap from last season have gone and not been replaced.

So true my friend.

We 'peppered' the Stoke goal according to Kean. What a lying little ***t he is.

He knows he can say whatever he wants and none of the media will call him up on it. For whatever reason, they just won't.

It's time for the players to take some responsibility into their own hands IMO. And I'm not talking about on the pitch, either. We'll see in the next few weeks how many of them truly care about the club, and how many only care about the money they're getting. I suspect for most it will be the latter.

tonyoz you have every right to put your views foward, as you are a blackburn rovers supporter as much as the rest of us but please dont patronise us by saying its our fault for the team's demise, its kean's fault and venkys and noone else's.

I don't think I said that.

That last sentence shows how out of touch you are.

The long suffering fans have showed surprising patience and got behind the team even when the team have looked incompetent and poorly organized. Even the protestors have tried to co-ordinate with the club so they don't affect the goings on on the pitch.

It seems your answer to the situation is to just cheer the team on. Sorry but that's been attempted.

Don't forget our only win so far came during the protests. Before the protests we were even worse.

I have just seen Kean's interview on BBC website and can only conclude that he is insane. The interviewer seemed embarrased by his answers as much as we are. How can he take positives from that shambles? he always focusses on 1 incident, in this case the 3rd goal, as the reason for the loss. We missed headers that cost us goals 1 and 3 and then goal 2 was down to us having no midfield cover which we have been losing goals for all season. Kean learns nothing and just goes on putting a team out which resembles lambs to the slaughter in a game like that. I would reckon that any other team in the league would have hammered Stoke today because they were rank and yet we just meekly lie down to them..pathetic.

I have said many times that you have the right to protest if you feel so inclined. That doesn't mean that I have to agree with you of course. I have the right to argue that you are misguided. Or, at least I thought I had.

You do and maybe some posts against you were unfair. However the fact that you don't seem to realise that the team have always been cheered onto the pitch as ever every game hints that you don't necessarily understand how the fans protests / opinions are working on a match day.

With all due respect you can post all the opinions you like, but if you're mailing in your views from afar with no direct knowledge of how the team are being supported, supplemented by what you're told by the media and what you see on television, you've got to expect them to be treated with little credibility.

It's nothing to do with the site, the site is just a platform for the fans. And many who do go to the matches will see what you're saying as criticizing the fans. As someone said earlier, the fans have been extremely patient all things considered.

Errrr..................so I have to live in Blackburn to have any credibility? Maybe this should be a condition of membership of the site?

I wouldn't mind as much if Kean came out and said "Today we was truly awful! I will read the riot act to the players as I don't think we are playing to our full potential. I have to get to the route of the problem and fast. I can understand the fans frustration as we are under-performing ridiculously." Instead he says we will get better, relegation won't happen, we was unlucky, we had a good game, we looked the better team! He has to go! What is it now? 6 wins in 34? No clean sheet in 10 months nearly? Two wins in 5 months?

This argument is misleading and illogical. If you are going to criticise the fans' behavious on match days, you had better be sure of yourself.

As well-intentioned as you are, I think your views are wide of the mark and perhaps a wee bit insulting. You are of course entitled to your opinion, but so are other people when they tell you you are wrong in your viewpoint.

No-one is stopping you from posting, it just seems that you cannot accept what appears to be reasonable and well-founded criticism.

Thanks.

You're right. I am out of touch and don't know how I would feel if I still lived in Blackburn. But I hoped that observing from afar might bring a different, but no less valuable perspective?

but your saying we have to live with the cosequences. ok then we will all give up and watch until venkys decide to get their act together. kean was given long enough and our fans were very very patient. he nearly took us down last year but the fans didnt get on his back. they supported the team. he won against liverpool and the fans even sang his name. that was a time to kick on but it still went down to the last game for survival.

even in the protest games fans didnt get on their backs until we went down which was every game it seemed.

please explain to me what consequences you are reffering to are as i cant stand my home town feeling so down as the do now. everyone is down in the dumps

The protests just don't help, especially if they are staged and organised before the match has even begun.

EVERYONE knows we're in a really bad position right now and it is extremely worrying, this includes the owners. All the protests are doing are just drilling the same message over and over again, but more as an annoyance than a reminder.

Can anyone honestly look at the actions of the protesters and say 100% that the constant negative chanting had ZERO effect on the players? Not to mention that NO ONE has shown even a degree of respect or support for a single player in the squad. Are there any chants for Rochina? Are there any chants for Hoilett? Are there any chants for Givet? The only chants that I've read about being heard are "we want our Rovers back", "Kean Out" and "there's only one Jack Walker"... so where does the CURRENT team fit into all this? Nowhere, apparrently, because as people have demonstrated on here time and time again, they want the team humiliated and replaced, along with the manager.

I was completely in support of the original protest to make the owners aware we weren't happy at all with goings on, but it started going too far a long time ago. After false allegations started being laid against the owners about dodgy dealings that would get us docked points and asset stripping, it just killed it for me. What was genuine concern and unhappiness transformed into an agenda at that point and it has turned me off ever since.

If you look at my posts before then, I was as furious about the whole situation as anyone is now, but now I'm just really tired of it all.

I don't think the owners are blameless in this at all because they have allowed this situation to fester for so long and have really failed to address it adequately, even though I can in some ways understand why they have found it this hard to manage. However, their decision to ignore this tension in the fanbase and attempt to shrug it off as something minor was just plain stupid and they need to do more.

I am hoping that this will be breaking point and Kean will be sacked now, but I think the issue of replacement will remain a pertinent one.

I'll add that, I am completely for booing and protesting when we're doing ###### and we're 2-0 or 3-0 down, but not as a pre-meditated thing because I don't see how it can possibly help or work or have any sort of positive effect other than make the people doing the protesting feel at ease.

Also, I think the whole "it's ok to protest because we wouldn't have won anyway" is a really weak and lame excuse.

This is just my opinion and I hope people can accept and respect it. I'm not "telling" people how to act or feel, I am just questioning the effectiveness of the continued protests and have genuine concern for the time and effort people are putting into them when these can be spent on their friends and family instead.

Does anyone agree the imposter brings his subs on too late I mean Roberts coming on for last 10 mins why not bring him on on 50-55 mins? what does he expect him to do in 10mins?

I have noticed a pattern happened for several months now does coco not know you can bring on 3 subs? so why for months now does he only bring on 1 sub? also for all his hard work Roberts has never been a regular goalscorer whereas a game like this Vucevic would have made an impact so why not use him they could even have bought him on for N'Zonzi who seems to be taking lessons from the Kevin Nolan book of complaining at ref aT least vucevic would have given us more creativity.

Jason Roberts would contribute in 50-55 mins exactly what he does in 10 mins. Absolute zero. He hasn't had an attempt on goal in the league this season and is the last player to look to when the team is in need of a goal. Kean likes his stats but he chooses to ignore this one.

OK I realise I need to rein myself in. I really don't mean to castigate the fans who pay good money to turn up week in, week out. In particular, I pay homage to the fans who devote their Saturdays (and hard-earned cash) to the cause away from home.

This doesn't mean that I have to agree with everything they do though!!!!!

The players get their names chanted everyweek, this is the problem when you get most of your Rovers fan info from brfcs.com and what the media/Kean feed you.

Our fans have been excellent and if you honestly expect football fans not to react like this when results go badly every week, then you are following the wrong sport.
