philipl Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Well after a year of nothing but talk and doing nothing about Rovers' presence in India, here we find Venky's as 5% shareholders in the entity which will lead to a Man City Academy being launched in Lavasa just outside Pune.

hesfromburn Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 There moving at a snails pace in a lightspeed business world. Chairmen etc..? Making the decisive big moves..(saking an underperforming manager) I could see them finally getting the basics right as the ball that sends us down mathamatically goes into our net
Roost Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Well after a year of nothing but talk and doing nothing about Rovers' presence in India, here we find Venky's as 5% shareholders in the entity which will lead to a Man City Academy being launched in Lavasa just outside Pune. Eh? The more I read tonight, the less I understand. Is this a joke?
Baz Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Announced in May 2010. The fact one of the many Venky companies has a small contract in the area is incidental.
ben_the_beast Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Obviously it is just wiki so to be taken with a large pinch of salt but wiki states Venkys own a 12.8% stake.
roverssex Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 correct me if iam wrong but did JA not play a large part in the sale of Man city? Is it me or does this all smell like the goings on at city?
BuckyRover Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 correct me if iam wrong but did JA not play a large part in the sale of Man city? Is it me or does this all smell like the goings on at city? And look how that turned out!
booth Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Obviously it is just wiki so to be taken with a large pinch of salt but wiki states Venkys own a 12.8% stake. Sadly, Wiki is more truthful than Venky's most of the time.
Muddboy Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 As well as being disgusting, surely that's not allowed. The owner of one Premier League Club having a vested interest in another... I know it's a different company to Venky's London Ltd but all part of the same stable. This should be highlighted to the Premier League. I despair with these fcuking idiots!
Kelbo Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 Sadly, Wiki is more truthful than Venky's most of the time. I think Billy Liar was more truthful than Venkys!!
