Amo Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Think there should be a frontpage tribute for him on the site. After things have cooled down, of course. Quote
Backroom DE. Posted November 27, 2011 Backroom Posted November 27, 2011 I just cannot understand this... he had two young kids, a well-paid job, by all accounts a decent lad... what in the world could have driven him to this? RIP Quote

Popular Post T4E Posted November 27, 2011 Popular Post Posted November 27, 2011 Depression? Terminal illness? I keep reading he had two boys but there's no mention of a wife. It's about time this country started taking mental health more seriously. 10 Quote
LeChuck Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 What a tragedy. He seemed like the ultimate professional. He kept himself in immaculate condition in his playing days, allowing him to play at high level for several years more than most, and was just beginning to make his mark on the international managerial scene with a talented Welsh team. It really looked like he was building a team capable of making a major tournament. R.I.P. 1 Quote
USABlue Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Truly stunned I had to read the Thread headlines three times before I opened it. Condolences to his family. Always seemed a class act to me and was just getting Wales playing well. Damn I'm floored by this Quote
Andy Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Sad news and such a shame for all involved. I always think that you have to be in a very disturbed state of mind to even consider suicide, so who knows what's been going on in his personal life for this to happen. Genuine Prem legend though. BuckyRover Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 (edited) I feel absolutely gutted and I've got tears in my eyes. He was on FF only yesterday talking about the welsh qualifiers that were coming up in the future. Edited November 27, 2011 by BuckyRover Quote

Baz Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Shocking news. Great player, promising manager, and by all accounts top fella. Thoughts to those close to him. Quote
yorkblue Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 I remember him scoring a cracker - I think it was for Leeds in the days when we were seated in the Darwen End during the stadium rebuilding. Fantastic footballer over an incredible number of years and a really nice guy. Absolute tragedy. Quote
The Gull Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Absolutely shocked and saddened. Obviously something gone on in his life that we may never know about, such a sad ending to the life of one of the games greatest professionals by all accounts. Thoughts with his family at this time trying to cope with this news. Quote
Clitherover Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 RIP, No age at all. Can't believe it would be suicide, what on earth would drive a guy who had everything going for him to that? Quote
