cn174 Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 We're going. Would love to say I'm looking forward to a midweek night cup away game. But I'm just not.
AggyBlue Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Don't forget to wear you're Kean out T shirts
Stuart Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Could be a really bad week to be playing Cardiff and Swansea. Feelings may be running high and these two games in the space of five days could define our season.
Waggy76 Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 I am not sure what winning this game will do for us , a 2 legged semi final against Liverpool , Chelsea ,Man u ,Arsenal or Man City..Which will end in certain defeat over the 2 legs.... But we need a win of some description ,alas victories in previous rounds didn't do much for us either ... In hindsight (a great thing) we would have been better off losing to the geordies ... I hope all the fans who attend enjoy the day out , once upon a day I would have been there myself regardless of league position .. In those days ,we were a proper football club with proper owners who cared deeply about the club ...
stuwilky Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Im going. With some othe forum types. Shame we have match tickets though admittedly, might spoil a decent few days away.
FourLaneBlue Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Winning this game will... 1. Lead to a semi-final loss against one of the boys 2. Allow Kean to do another x1million interviews. In those he will say that we have shown we are excellent in the cups, so just need to produce it in the league. 3. Give Kean more time to say that the players and owners can all see what they are trying to do, and that they just need to work hard on the training pitch to put it right, as all we need is one win to kickstart the season.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 I look at our league position and shake my head were this tie is concerned.
Ozz Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 We're going. Would love to say I'm looking forward to a midweek night cup away game. But I'm just not. Clare just get pregant and these days would soon be over. Im going. With some othe forum types. Shame we have match tickets though admittedly, might spoil a decent few days away. You're old enough to know better Stuart. You've only yerself to blame.

The Walker Trust are as much if not more to blame for the state of our club as Venky's are.
Steve Moss Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 I hope we win this one. We need some good news. Though I'd prefer Kean being sacked. Perhaps the Prime Mover will have mercy on us and: 1) Kean will be sacked; and, 2) we'll win.
NeRvOuS Wr3Ck Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 We maybe playing them twice next season lol
Hughesy Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Any win is good news, so I hope we win. Who knows, it might just help us with abit of confidence for Saturday.
Ricky Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Me and the wife are heading down for a days Christmas shopping followed by the match. Have to say the Christmas shopping has got me more excited than the match which is worrying!!
Sparky Marky Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Getting to semi will only enhance keans position with the owners. However a defeat to a team in a lower league might get them to consider it. As we cant win the cup, Im looking for us to lose this. Me and the wife are heading down for a days Christmas shopping followed by the match. Have to say the Christmas shopping has got me more excited than the match which is worrying!! In cardiff aswelll..?? Times are bad.
Ricky Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 When you live in Hereford it's a big event going to Cardiff shopping lol.
chocky Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Is anyone else going or will I be there on my own ? Many tickets have been returned I understand. I'm going, staying in Bristol with my niece. Train up on Tuesday.
Mercer Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 This match is bad news whether we win or lose. Win and it's almost certain we stop @ the semis and it gives Kean, possibly, more time. Lose then at least we are out and can 'concentrate on the league', however, you can bet Kean will field a strongish team as he knows from a personal point of view that a win is important, however, we will play Swansea on Saturday with more fatigue in the legs than them.
RoyRover Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 In cardiff aswelll..?? Times are bad. Cardiff is pretty nice these days. It used to be a complete hole, but millions and millions have been spent doing it up and it's a great city these days. Great place to shop. I too am thinking of heading to this one. I'm currently living in Bath, so thinking of getting the train up to Bridgend, stay with the grandparents and go to the game. Can you just pay in at the door as an away supporter?

Kean will tell them that Cardiff is a top team from another European country, which is theoretically true.
