HemelRover Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 There really is only 3 league places between us, you would never guess who was the prem team. Very good point.

adopted scouser Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Why are they saying on Sky it'a a cup 'upset' ?
EWOODACE1 Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 im worried that with these subs we may pull this back
Beta Ray Bill Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I felt before tonight that unlike Birmingham last season when their cup run ultimately affected their season, for us it wouldn't. Our league form is so bad that there's no way a cup run would hinder us. The League Cup offered a glimmer of light in what is going to be the worst season for Rovers in my memory, if not ever. Now even that glimmer is being extinguished. Kean off, you keaning keanwit.
beerwins Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Ey up were on to plan b now, we have ditched attack for all out attack as we bring on Rochina, Roberts and The Yak.
Backroom trueblue Posted November 29, 2011 Backroom Posted November 29, 2011 Rovers fans turned hostile yet?
2k. Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Why are they saying on Sky it'a a cup 'upset' ? It's not an upset, even before we saw the team it was entirely predictable.
Majiball Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 There really is only 3 league places between us, you would never guess who was the prem team. Ya, we're the 20th best team in England!!!!
novella Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 The thing is Kean really really wanted to win this game, so he has no excuses, so much for a cup run ey, ya bald BELLEND!
Mattyblue Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 'It's just long ball from Blackburn, no guile or invention, Cardiff are much the better footballing side'. Think you've got your teams mixed up son, we don't do 'long ball'.
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Cracking display by the lads tonight - you can clearly hear the "Kean Out" chants on radio lancs. I wonder if Kean will do the decent thing. My only hope is that the Carling Cup run had previously masked the poor run of Premiership results we were on. No matter how you spin it - we have been beaten by a Championship side - hopefully owners will understand this (but not holding from breath)
Smithyster Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Well wasn't that a complete surprise. Same rubbish, different day.
sam_rovers Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Honestly, I'm not surprised by the result. Was expecting us to lose once I saw the line up. If he is finally sacked I will view the loss as a huge positive. A new manager, and no more distraction to try to get us out of the relegation zone. Staying in the PL has to be our priority and we know we won't be able to do that with this idiot in charge.
Sysagent Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I am speechless... WHAT has happened to my team? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!
jrabrfc Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Was this one of the six "winnable" games? I can't remember. Anyway, good performance from the lads. Gave the Cardiff keeper a night off, which is a lovely gesture. And I still don't think they'll sack him.

Andy Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Have we ever won a game with him playing? It's a good question. I'm sure he'll make it one day, as he does have some attributes, but he's so far from being a Premiership player right now and it's costing us points.
Kelbo Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Quote from Kean on Granda Reports tonight, we haven't failed to score in all our away matches this season We have now, and we havent failed to concede in away games this season!!! God, what a bloody numpty he is, he is quickly running out of positive stats!!
beerwins Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 All I want is all three of the owners to explain why Kean is employed at our football club, just one reason is all they need to give. The only reason they could give would be cost of sacking him but they already said money is no problem. New contract fully earned tonight
Backroom Tom Posted November 29, 2011 Backroom Posted November 29, 2011 I think we did well, Cardiff are in the top 2 teams in the country and we had players out and only conceded two, we can take positives from that. Their keeper must have made 7 or 8 top saves and on another day we win that game comfortably.
allanncd Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Wankys and Anderson must be the only persons on Earth who think that Kean is up to the job.
Backroom DE. Posted November 29, 2011 Backroom Posted November 29, 2011 "we conceded 2 goals at Leyton Orient, and have only conceded 2 against a team a league higher... this is obvious progress, we'll take those positives and look to get it right at the top of the pitch. everyone can see what we're building towards, the majority are behind us. just yesterday I was in the village and somebody told me "watching Rovers is like watching Barcelona... but better", hopefully we can turn the 1% around. if not my 99% will beat the sh1t out of them."
