Correct. They have zero understanding of football. Anyone of us could have run this club better than Venkys have done so far even without a business backround, because we understand football better than they ever will.

We would simply have made sounder decisions.

I wouldn't even go that far. I've spoken to plenty of non-football people and even they can make no hide nor hair of it.

If you buy a business, you want success. You don't reward failure, and it's very hard not to notice Kean's failure.

"We're disappointed. We've got a big game in Wales at the weekend against Swansea so we made a few changes."

Does he not even realise the game is at Ewood?

To be fair, this is a man when asked by a judge when the season started, got it wrong too!

You forget that Venky's are on a totally different planet to the rest of us. if they knew what they were doing, he would've been sacked long ago. Not handed a new contract.

You still believe Venky's are clueless? Venky's are far from innocently ignorant or, as some have suggested, plain idiots. Noone invests £23,000,000 of their own family/company capital on a investment without researching beforehand, and outlining a profitable plan.

If you still think Venky's are the fools, take a good look in the mirror. They're milking this cow dry -intentionally & profitably. These scumbags couldn't give a damn about their 'baby'. Our throat has been cut and the blood is now seaping. It's time act. They obviously have no regards for the fans, all we can do is be viciously adamant that we want them out, and hope through the media attention and other authorities, that we can drive them out... though now Im pessimistic. It would seem noone can remove these paracites other than the powers that be.

I feel sorry for all the people who travelled to Cardiff to watch that rot. Venky's are not going to sack him and if the telegraph is to be believed are being pressured to pay back their 23million debt to Barclays!

Well now that very much depends on their opinion of success doesn't it? Parachute payments may well be quite an enticing prize for Venkys. Take us down, fob off the prem players, buy ###### and bugger off with the money without a backward glance.

A you can't convince me that asset stripping is against FA laws either because those prats couldn't find their arse with both hands.

There is a reason Kean isn't being sacked. This goes far deeper than that, and IMO we could do as many protests as we like, I don't think he'l be sacked. Sickening!

Never been so angry, frustrated and devastated about our club.

After 25 years as a season ticket holder supporting Rovers. I've had enough.

I'm not going to waste my time & money any more.

I'm not going to do the 60 mile round trip any more. I've paid up for my season ticket to the end of the season.

They can have my money but they will never have my suppoort until Venkys & Kean just feck off and ...just feck off basically.

Apologies for the incoherance. The club I used to support is dead.

Just got back home, what an absolute shambles I have witnessed tonight. The only positive I can draw from the experience is I'm very glad I remembered to take a scarf and gloves!!

Firstly, when I was getting searched going into the ground I was holding my rovers shirt in my hand and the steward took it off me, gave it a shake and a good look over. When I asked what he was doing he 'looking for Kean Out banners', I asked him why and who had told him to so and he replied 'the club' I then said 'so much for free speech, eh?' and he just shrugged and said 'we're not gunna stop you using your voice!' It was good to see a couple of banners at the end that had obviously slipped through the net!

We were dreadful today. Absolutely awful. From what I could make out, the game plan seemed to be Goodwillie up top alone and everything gets lumped up towards him. It must have been like Christmas come early for the Cardiff defence! There was no plan b and we were absolutely clueless. You could tell from the first 15 minutes it wasn’t going to work - yet Kean didn’t make a change until 70 minutes?!? And then wait till the 80th to go 442?!

The man has the tactical nous of shaved chimp from Chester Zoo.

The really worrying thing is that a lot of Kean's signings were playing tonight - and we were abysmal. Kean has been trying to build up a young team that plays Barcelona football - he finally gets a chance to put out his new team against a 'weaker' opposition and that performance is what we get treated to? Jesus wept - if that’s the future I don't want to live on this planet anymore!

I thought the fans were terrific tonight - a midweek cup game away in Cardiff, pretty much the definition of Kean's 'true supporters'. It started off fully in support of the team, but as events unfolded and Kean just sat back to watch it all happen the focus changed to him. And it’s fair to say he received both barrels for most of the second half from about 75% of the fans (around me certainly)

I've done a lot of away games this season - Kean keeps mentioning the atmosphere at Fulham and QPR from our fans. I was at both of those games and tonight's atmosphere was on a whole different level to those two games put together. I wonder if Kean will refer to tonight’s travelling fans being terrific in future press conferences...

Also, thanks to Jason Lowe and MGP - the only 2 players who could be bothered to come over and thank the fans for spending their hard earned money and bothering to travel to a different country ( ;) ) in support of the team! :rover:

This has got to be the end of the road now for Kean - surely?!?!

If he is still here on Saturday and we lose to Swansea - all hell will break loose!

If I could I would do anything in my power to be there on Saturday, it's almost a 600 mile round trip for me at the moment.

As it is unless I get the criminal injuries compensation that i'm owed I haven't go the cash to do so as I haven't been able to work for the past 4 months, in the unlikely event of getting it before Saturday I will go, and for no other reason than to be able to shout at the top of my lungs for Kean and Venkys to go for 90 minutes.

I'm so fed up with people saying it will affect the players, as it stands I really couldn't care if it does, 1 game doesn't make a season, the damage has been done already. This club in a mere 12 months has become rotten to the core, I used to be so proud of my club. I now live in a hotbed of big 4 team support here deep in the south west, and feel so helpless.

Well around 500 miles later just got in.

What can I say - the team was absolutely awful - no movement whatsoever.

Got to be the worst performance from a rovers team I have ever seen.

The support was good from minute one & massive respect for those that not only applauded the Gary Speed chants from the cardiff fans but also joined in and started a few.

They also got one chant spot on "Premiership your having a laugh".

Mark Bunn - had no defence in front of him, possibly could have done better for the first goal.

Grant Hanley - no where near good enough yet, got himself into trouble needless a few times.

Gaël Givet - a collosus at centre back, but at left back is constantly found wanting.

Scott Dann - turned inside out by kenny miller more than once.

David Dunn - one good volley other than that im afraid hes just not good enough anymore.

Mauro Formica - a few bright moments but no real support.

Radosav Petrovic - looked like a lost rabbit against a well drilled midfield.

(Rubén Rochina, 70) - didnt really contribute much (and to be honest at this point I was more interested in chanting).

Morten Gamst Pedersen - at fault for the first goal & nearly a third.

Jason Lowe - given the run around by some lively cardiff wing play.

David Goodwillie - touch was more like a donkeys, closed out of the game by some disciplined cardiff defending. Had one real chance and when he messed it up tried to claim a penalty.

(Yakubu, 80) - brought on too late to make an real impact but did create a couple of chances.

Nick Blackman - useless, no movement a statue would have done more - why didnt he start simon?

(Jason Roberts, 80) - the only thing i can remember about his app is some one suggesting how amusing it would be if he had "YES MAN" on the back of his shirt instead of "ROBERTS".

And I think its already been mentioned but only lowe and peds came up to the away fans, well done to them they put the rest of the players to shame.

Also had some great chants about "positives" and at one point "always look on the bright side of life" in an attempt to cheer ourselves up

Disappointed with our exit, and the manner of the exit, however come May if this is the difference of staying up or going down, then I'd gladly pass on this cup run.

Our league position remains priority and hopefully Keans gamble of resting many of the suspected starting line up for saturdays match, will pay dividend come 16.45 on Saturday.

Rovers were not the only team to rest players this evening as Arsenal and City to name two also made multiple changes

It, once again, exclaimed our scarily shallow squad and lack of talent to back up those who feature week in and week out.

Our "B" squad should be capable of holding most Championship sides... huh. Our "A" side is bottom of the league. I guess I expect too much...

More excuses from Kno*head today My link and here My link

"We forfeited our chance in this competition to get to a cup final — and now we must treat Swansea City like a cup final on Saturday."

"That game really has to kick-start our season. It's massive for us.

"With the magnitude of that game, I made changes and decided to leave Chris Samba, Martin Olsson and Michel Salgado at home."

Thought Samba , Olsson and salgado were still not fit? Just love the way he reckons he threw the game which contradicts his pre game comments

I did'nt go to the match but I did watch the highlights on BBC1 and one thing was evident from the very start.....the players were either told not to try very hard or he has lost the dressing room.

Countless times I saw players stood still after losing the first ball with a half hearted challenge, I even saw Hanley do it twice in the area, the one where Miller skinned him and hit the post was abnormal, he just stood still and put his arms in the air.

The highlights were very damning, every clip just showed Rovers in slow motion, no attempts to get back no attempts to get forward and they did'nt even bother to show Dunny's (according to BBC) sublime 35 yard volley forcing the keeper to save.

I Know the owners are truly insane and I think have hidden agenda's but if the team play like that saturday they will be beat and that will be the last straw for a lot of people if Kean is not removed.

They're an absolute disgrace, I'm livid tonight.

Imposters the lot of them. The sooner we see the back of them the better.

So they didn't pay 43M for the club after all. They paid 22M and took on the debt which they have not reduced by 1p in a year!

Further they have mortgaged our future income. We are worse off than before! What an absolute bunch of lying charlatans.

10M will not solve our problems in January because 1 )it isn't enough given the state of the squad 2) Kean will buy more crap which will need to next season to settle in 3) we'll be down anyway by then.

Truly we are effed.

Pre match: 'we want to win the cup, we are in great form in this competition'

post match: 'we forfeited this match with Swansea being such a big game'

Sure that makes those that put in an 8 hour round trip feel a whole lot better.

Read between the lines, also add that to the fact that he sent the players out early in the second half and what does that tell you? do you think he did'nt want to win or do you think the players did'nt try, one thing that was always evident to me was the players always tried for him, over the past few weeks that has been dropping, I posted after the Stoke match that you could see things were getting worse.

Anyone who has worked in a managerial capacity will tell you that you it's very hard to change your stance with the people under you once you have set your stall out. Kean has always had the softly softly approach with the players and treat them all with kid gloves and it has worked as far as player effort is concerned (which is why a lot of fans wont get on Keans back) but when you change your stance and start to roast them and send them out early in the second half if they dont respond well the games up for you as a manager.

Good owners would never have employed him, decent owners would have sacked him long ago, even bad owners would have certainly sacked him after last night, if we lose against Swansea and he remains then I dont think we have any owners only people with ulterior motives.
