I think you are right beerwins and he has now, finally, lost the players as well - that appears obvious from the last couple of games. And that means there is no point in trying to support the team from the off and not disrupt the "atmosphere" at Ewood. He might as well get it both barrels on Saturday from the off, from all 4 sides of the ground

Pre match: 'we want to win the cup, we are in great form in this competition'

post match: 'we forfeited this match with Swansea being such a big game'

Sure that makes those that put in an 8 hour round trip feel a whole lot better.

Im stunned by that Matty, telling us that he forfeited the cup for the league, a quarter final :angry2: Im absolutely fuming at those comments :angry2:

WHAT ABOUT THE FANS THAT PAID HARD EARNED MONEY AND TOOK TIME OFF WORK TO TRAVEL TO SOUTH WALES YOU IGNORNAT BA**ARD.

Quite. The story told by the todays and yesterdays LT back pages ...

I can't remember a worse performance by a Rovers team in recent times, it was truly abysmal.

And when the club has lost the majority of the fans who will travel 450 miles on a wet, cold Tuesday night in November to support the team, then there's real trouble. I know that's a cliche but it's a really serious issue for the club now, and unfortunately I don't see who at Ewood is going to take that on board and do something about it.

And to cap off a crap night, the M5 was closed for a few junctions south of Birmingham meaning a detour through the back roads with all the HGVs :angry2:

What a grade A tit, not only does he insult the fans who paid good money and put time in to go (I salute them) but he manages to use language that could possibly land him with an FA charge by admitting we threw the game.

More excuses from Kno*head today My link and here My link

"With the magnitude of that game, I made changes and decided to leave Chris Samba, Martin Olsson and Michel Salgado at home."

Samba, Olsson and Salgado have been injured recently, so how is that "making changes"? Hopefully he'll get in the ###### for the "forfeited" comment,

I don't know how much more I can stand before I have stop following this sport altogether, it makes me so angry.

Edit: Tris, that newspaper picture is brilliant. In two captions it sums up what a confused, incompetent and bullshitting tosser he really is.

Great post there Tris and highlights the total lack of leadership at the club right at the top down to grass roots, the picture also speaks a thousand words, does that look like a manager that did'nt want to win that match?

Kean is truly lost in his words and the teams perfomances, his after match interview almost came across as a desperate man running out of words, if the interviewer would have pressed more at the end I'm sure he would have got a desperate silence where no answers or no positive comments would have been found.

Agree that he has lost the players. Only a matter of time now till he is potted. Hopefully hours.

I just pray to god Venkys have some semblance of a plan about who to replace him with. Personally I think there is a decent chance Kean will be shunted out only to be replaced by Clement for weeks as we scrabble around looking for an established manager. This is an appalling position to be in with no Chairman to co-ordiante the manager search.

Just woke up after a heavy night in Cardiff drowning my sorrows! I've always been a fiercely proud Rover put last night was an absolute embarrassment! It was humiliation! Way more Rovers fans turned up than I expected and that was the thanks we got.

I went down and thought relegation looks a certainty so if the person steering the club (can't bring myself to say his name) plays a weakened team we will at least see how things will look next season ... Be prepared for local derbys with Stanley soon as that probable team for next season was horrific!!

I'd have to say we must be the first team to go to Cardiff and just be left alone by the home fans! This was summed up outside the ground when the stewards manning the segregation fence to stop trouble just looked at all our solemn faces and knew there wasn't any fight in us left to cause any trouble so they just opened the gate!!

I've emailed Paul Hunt and requested a refund on my tickets as well as travel costs. It's only fair that the club offer a full refund if the match was forfeited.

Good man, lets hope the rest of the support follow suit, fuming and I didn't even go :angry2:

Well done Ricky, absolutely the right thing to do in my opinion. I suggested on the Steve Kean thread that anyone who went last night should be requesting a refund based on Kean's comments and his setting up the team to lose or 'forfeit' the game.

Comments such as those he made after the game should also bring attention from the FA. And from Venkys who 'promised' a cup win as well as 8th place because "we deserve it".
