I have just sent an email requesting a refund on costs incurred and the ticket price to Mr Hunt.

Will gladly send a copy to someone if we this up.

I went with 100 friends and family last night and we all paid on the gate. It cost us £21million. I will email Balaji and ask for a refund.

Ok, been down to Ewood Park to complain about the comments made by Steve Kean and about the fans wanting their money back.

Worryingly, the employee I dealt with (who was excellent by the way) stated "it should come out of Steve Kean wages". I asked to speak with Paul Hunt but was told that "he had not arrived in work today"... Make of that what you will.

I was told to report to you that "IF YOU WISH TO TRY AND CLAIM YOUR MONEY BACK YOU SHOULD ALL WRITE IN INDIVIDUALLY". I asked, "if the club gave a statement saying we would be refunded, would we still have to all do this?" and this was the most worrying part.....

"WELL TO BE HONEST WE'RE NOT SURE WHO WOULD MAKE THAT DECISION IN THE FIRST PLACE AS WE'RE UNSURE WHO IS WORKING ABOVE US".

This person asked me to inform you that your emails to Paul Hunt are being recieved and are being passed on to him. I asked the employee to pass on that "The fans would like this issue to be settled for Saturdays match as many fans who were present at the Cardiff game will be present on Saturday".

I left him my contact details for what it's worth.

Hope this helps,

Neal.

I wouldn't bother PB, he promised to reimburse for the fans that travelled to Pune independently and they’re still to see a penny ;)

Yet more evidence of the mess that Blackburn Rovers is at the moment.

I was at the game last night with a couple of city friends of mine. First time I have seen Rovers live at a match this season and greatly disappointed by the lack of commitment from players and lack of fitness from the likes of Dunn, goodwillie, givet. This is worrying as Rovers will have a long 2nd half to the season and will at some point rely on these backup players when others are missing due to injury, suspension.

The squad is good enough to be midtable but it is clearly the manager who has not got sufficient experience and tactical knowledge in setting up the side to win and have the courage to know when to make substitutions at key points in the game. According to friends who watch cardiff week in week out blackburn made them look good and were surprised with the lack of depth commitment from the side. We played like relegation candidates.

Not even I or my cardiff city friends understand why kean is still in the job, and how he has ruined the side.the man is a laughing stock of football and no longer has any integrity in leading the fight out of relegation. His comments about losing a game to concentrate on the league are distgusting towards those loyal supporters who travelled hundreds of miles, given up their time in supporting blackburn. If kean thinks that Rovers have any chance against swansea on Saturday then he needs to pull a rabbit out of the hat, as swansea are a good footballing side and can easily beat us.

Received a call from a Rovers employee filling in for Paul Hunt for today, who has stated that:

"THE ISSUE OF REFUNDS FOR THE CARDIFF GAME IS LIKELY TO BE DISCUSSED, IF SO, IT WILL BE DISCUSSED IN THE MORNING. Paul Hunt is currently travelling back from Cardiff game, but rest assured, the club are fully aware of the fans upset at Steve Keans comments."

I asked if the club were willing to give me a statement regarding the position of the manager:

"NO CHANGES are imminent that we are aware of BUT THINGS CHANGE."

She has asked for my patience as she is doing her upmost to get Paul Hunt to contact me regarding this issue.

Neal.

Most on Twitter and here know me as a guy with a positive outlook on things. This latest charade has forced me to "jump off the fence" so to speak. Whilst I didnt attend the game last night, I am absolutely shocked by SK's comments and I hope the fans who did go get a full refund on ALL expenses incurred. Well done Neal for forcing the issue. Well played.

Another phone call from the club. Doing they're best to get Paul Hunt to contact me to discuss what is to happen. This is what was said:

"THE BOARD MAY PUT OUT A STATEMENT LATER TODAY OR IN THE MORNING REGARDING THE COMMENTS STEVE KEAN HAS MADE AND ALSO REGARDING REFUNDS FOR FANS. WE ARE DONG OUR UPMOST IN GETTING PAUL HUNT TO CONTACT YOU BUT REST ASSURED THESE ISSUES ARE TO BE DISCUSSED BETWEEN THE BOARD."

I'm not holding my breath for any statements or any phone call to be honest, nor should any of us expect one... Due to the non-existent infrastructure at the club currently.... One can only hope.

Just read Kean's comments in The Guardian. They are incredible.

They raise a number of issues:

- He claims to have forfeited the game. He fielded a relatively strong side though considering it was a League Cup tie and allowing for the appalling standard of our first XI. Did he therefore instruct the team to give less than full effort? Most managers couldn't give a cobblers about this particular competition but to suggest such an attitude so explicitly is unbelievable given the pressure he's under.

- If his plan was indeed to 'forfeit' the tie, what does that say about his attitude to the 1000 travelling supporters (my brother included) who expended time and money to go to a match that was seemingly disregarded before it had even been played? Again what sort of manager admits to having his side give anything except the full effort?

- If Kean's intention is indeed to focus on the upcoming games, what does he imagine a crushing loss to a Championship side will do to his own players' confidence? How can he (presumably) aspire to a winning mentality while at the same time contriving to 'forfeit' a cup tie?

The man is out of control.

The problem with Kean's comments is that what he intended to say was that he rested key players for the weekend which ultimately affected last night's result, however what he came out with intimated that regardless of the starting XI he didn't want the players to put in any effort at all.

If he had said that the side he put out should have been good enough to beat Cardiff but fell short and that he hoped that by resting the likes of Hoilett, we'd stand a decent chance of beating Swansea, then I dont think any fan could really argue. To say that he 'forfeited' the match however, is ludicrous.

He knows that the fans hardly need an excuse to rip him apart, he should have been far far more careful.

"A season in the championship will provide our younger players with the perfect opportunity to gain vital first team experience, without the inherent pressure that comes from playing in the media goldfish bowl that is the premier league.

We will emerge from this experience in a much stronger position and I am positive that we will be challenging for european football in two seasons time. Wibble."

Well done Neal. Rovers are looking to release a statement. I suspect that refunds will be offered to all who went.

Kean is completely out of order with these kinda comments. It is beyond belief that Kean remains in the job, it's gaff after gaff over the last few weeks, this coupled with continued poor results would guarantee the sack for any other manager, yet with Kean continues to receive support.

He is meeting owners in London either today or tomorrow, I hope they sack him at this meeting but I'm not holding my breath as an told that meeting is to discuss transfer budget.
